Matthew was a high schooler who somehow transferred into another world after playing a certain game along with a friend. He did not know what happened but he had set his sight to get back home. To do so, he became a Hunter, an adventurer. Amidst his struggles to find a way home, he met various allies and enemies and even his true past.

Space warped and condensed somewhere in the open desert, then out came Matthew and the others out of that warped space. Matthew slowly opened his eyes. “Did it work?” He asked himself. He looked around and saw the city gate and wall in the distance. He assumed that they made it. 


“Heyy! You guys made it!” Isaac welcomed their arrival. 


“Isaac!” Matthew was happy to see him make it as well. 


“I’m glad we all made it safe and sound.” Mira said. 


Apoel intercepted her and spoke up. “I wouldn’t exactly call what happened back there as safe and sound.” 


“At least we’re alive. That’s what counts.” Yuki said. “I’m tired. Come on.” She walked towards the gate that was not too far in the distance. 


Matthew looked at Yuki with a confused feeling. What was going on with Yuki? He looked at Isaac, thinking that he might have an idea. He only replied with a double shoulder shrug. 


“I do agree. We should get some rest.” Lawen said. “My body still stings a bit.”
