“Liaaaaa!!” Gustav and Emilia ran and hugged Cecilia as soon as she got down from the carriage they took. Cecilia was nothing but shocked with their action.

“Lia, we were so worried. You were gone for more than a month!” Emilia said while holding the cheeks of her daughter.

“I’m fine mom.” Her words were not clearly delivered because her mouth was being squished by her mother. She took down her mother’s hands herself to talk properly. “What are you two doing here anyway? Why aren’t you at the main mansion?”

“Well, you’ve been out for a month, so the work over here was not done. So I came over to settle them.” Gustav said.

Cecilia was surprised but also not. “I’m sorry! I didn’t know there’s so much work.”

“No, there’s actually not that much.”

“Still!” Cecilia took a breath before she continued. “It’s fine now, I will handle the rest.”

“Are you sure you can? I can stay a bit longer if you need any help.” Gustav offered to her.
