Day of Rest

"And here I thought you liked me." He says jokingly with a smirk, I let out a small apologetic chuckle before dropping him back onto his own two feet.

"Sorry." I apologize, and he waves it off, deciding that no apology is needed. His expression changes as he looks at my face, a smile crosses his face but I can see in his eyes that he's been worried about me. He lifts his hand up and cups the side of my face, his thumb softly caressing my cheek. Subconsciously I lean into his warmth, loving the feeling of his skin against mine.

"Are you okay?" He asks me, his tone carrying a small hint of worry. Finn knowing more than anyone, how easy it is to hide physical and emotional pain from the surface. Although in this instance I don't believe he is asking about my physical state.
