If I tell myself nothing can scare me, I would be lying. I was scared for the first time when I saw Jing Mei hurt, even when I became a Great Demon I was scared when she asked me for Rian Sha. I thought she had lost all of my fond memories. At least I could give her a last resort, which I guess wasn’t a bad decision after all.
Suddenly I felt a change in environment. Yun Xi was releasing Yang Qi. Was she getting all her memories back at this moment?
Even if she gets her a little part of her memory back, I would leave this mortal world without any regrets. I guess I can go back to meditation in peace before the next storm strikes in.
“Go.” Crowned Prince roared as loudly as the clouds above us thundered. “I am not like you.” Yun Xi yelled at her top of lungs, in oddly familiar dialect of Yifei Mountains. It made me smile.
I have never seen her so much in rage.
Nothing pleased my eyes more than watching her slay her enemies, the enemies who threatened to take away her happiness.
No one can take her happiness, not even the filth of Gods like Hua Jiang Guan and Tong Wu Tang.

I filled my cup with sweet plum liquor as I spectate the mania ensuing. Apparently, all Hua are gifted with clairvoyance. Even if she is half mortal, she is the most powerful Goddess or Demigoddess I could ever meet.
I never believed that Demigods exist, until I met her.
She is probably siphoning her curse out. She thinks I don’t know about it. How naïve of her. I chuckled as I took a sip.
Suddenly I felt heartburn. It is quite difficult to remove a curse such as ‘Curse of Eternal Tragedies’. What if she hurts herself in this process? I shivered in terror.
Suddenly it started to rain heavily. Wasn’t that day raining? The fateful day Yun Xi was born.
I sighed. Today is the day I can’t prevent Cian Tou from using his powers, if he wants to. After all Jiang Guan should know, what is time bringing.

Fa Jing’s temporary quarters were awfully quiet. A feeling of dread set on me. Something is wrong.
Finally, I found her, meditating in the pond she made herself. Still it didn’t feel right. And my fear was turning true as soon as I touched her forehead. It felt cold. As cold as Tong Wu Tang’s stockpile of sweet plum liquor.
She is losing her qi. I frantically searched for a bottle of Blood Moon Flower nectar. As I returned, I heard her whisper something continuously. I brought my ears close but the language felt foreign.
“Fa Jing” I nudged her a bit. I took her out of the cold water and laid her on the grassy floor. The blackening of her veins was finally slowly disappearing. She opened her eyes and tried to sit on her own. Suddenly she puked out blood. There was a change in hue of her blood. Was she finally healed?
“This- this is the last bottle of your medicine.” I stuttered as I gave her the last nectar of this century. But she doesn’t have to know.
“Thank you.” She gave a soft smile.

While we were fighting off the rebel soldiers and Commander Liu, I knew Lord Gu and Shi Ren were trying his best to protect me.
Oddly, Lord Gu resembled the face with the person in my dreams called Bian Ci. But I don’t remember meeting him though.
I wish I could know more about him. Alas, everything is happening so fast.
Suddenly my horse screeched. “Furen.” Shi Ren yelled. To my horror I was standing face to face in front of Commander Liu. “We finally met.” He chuckled. I have never heard a sound so vile.
“So, you despise me Chief Consort?” He proceeds to laugh again. “After all we are same, you betrayed your family for power. So did I.”
I tried to keep myself calm, letting him rant about me.
However, he became quiet after that quick rant. It made me nervous, I am sure he is going to strike.
“But if you insist, I’m evil. you have to die with me.”
I closed my eyes waiting for the sword to slice me into pieces.
Nothing happened. I peeked to see Lord Gu’s blood trickling as he held the blade end preventing the sword to harm me. I froze. I never knew someone cares about me.
“I told you Hua Guniang, no one can harm you in my presence.” He said through gritted teeth and pain.
Commander Liu retracted the sword and jumped out of his horse. The evil grin still plastered on his face.
It was the most painful thing to watch. The blood gushed like fountain.
Then suddenly he pierced Lord Gu on the left side.
“Bian Ci.” I yelled. It felt like everything stopped.

(Cian Tou contd.)
I swear on the Three Worlds, I have never gripped on a weapon so hard. His sudden attack was impressive. I could feel myself falling down.
I never thought I could hear her calling my that name, it never felt this intoxicating. Now I can leave this mortal land.
“Commander Liu you have broken my every strand and string of patience.” Yun Xi roared like the tigress protecting her land.
She jumped out of the horse. Her eyes were radiating energy. She looked like the Goddess of Wrath rather than Goddess of Fate with a bloody sword in her hand.
With her one stroke she decapitates him.
“It’s the right time to leave.” I whisper to myself.
“Hua Guniang.” I call her name for the last time as my mortal body burst into flames.
From a distance I could see her as she fell on her knees and wailed. I have never heard such painful cries. It made me shiver.

“Stop the search.” I ordered soldiers. Finally, I could celebrate peacefully.
“What? Why?” Jing Jin asked. Ah that hellish abomination on heaven, who was close to my niece. Always causing problems. I trying to keep up my composure say, “It is sad to say, her life source diminished. It is probably… due to Rian Sha. She committed suicide by Rian Sha.”
“I can’t believe you.” She says as she storms out.
It is sad indeed that I lost my only niece. But eventually she had to go. I can’t lose my dream of becoming the sole ruler of the Heaven.
Since I am the only Hua left, the prophecy is about me. But taking down the drunk filth of Heavenly Emperor Tong is not going to be easy.
