The participants entered the Building B, with Class F leading the race. Each and every one of them were wearing an ear piece for the leader to communicate and give orders to participants. There were double-sided tapes strictly attached to the handrails and walls.
"Okamo, Barba," Seth called through the earpieces we were wearing. And they immediately responded to my voice. "I've studied the rules once again, and I learned the flaws in this game."
All 6 students were annoyed at the fact that they have to go through the same sticky course. The last one was too much of a struggle for them and they were going to do it again. It took them ten minutes to finished the first three floors going up. Okamo and Barba were ready to take on the last three floors going down when Okamo suddenly torn up the tapes making it easy for Barba to go down. Though it was strongly affixed to the handrails. Every one of the spectators had a puzzled expression on their faces, seeing what he was doing. Some thought that he was stupid, some had the same thought as Seth. The other four saw what he was doing and all of them thought he was doing something so stupid as to tear up the tapes for them. He wasn't able tearing up the rest of the tapes, but, 'This is enough' his mind said.
Okamo still, blocking the four's path while holding the tapes on his hands. "Now let's see if you'll be able to escape my grasp."
Everybody has a hunch on what's he was gonna do. The four scattered everywhere in the open space, cautious Okamo might attack them anytime. Spectators were asking what was that all about, the other leaders were talking to Ms. Principal, asking if obstructing other participants was a good.
"It doesn't say that you cannot stop your opponents from running. Although, violence a no."
Okamo lunged, his arms widely stretched. The space was narrow they're gap between each other were just one meter away. Mizusaki Leila and Kirigaya Ken got entangled along with Okamo. Oda Tatta and Okado Masaki slipped in going through the remaining tapes. The two who got caught up struggled together with Okamo, trying to free themselves. Barba had long crossed the tapes and were heading towards the pool.
"You bastard! You'll pay for this!" said Ken. His face was rubbing onto Leila's back, he could smell her sweat.
"Stop moving around! Ugh!" Leila does not like what was going on.
"I'm sorry, I was just told!" Okamo's tone was sincere and apologetic.
Barba finally reached the pool. She took a deep breath and jumped magnificently on the pool. The water splashed and she began swimming towards the other side of the pool. Halfway there, Tatta and Masaki followed. Hastily, the two were in a rushed struggling so hard to catch up to Barba. She touched the end of the pool and pulled herself up. The audience had began cheering up for her. Loudly, Erika and the other two felt like their eardrums would break because of one loud student who were cheering for Barba.
"Class F has reached the 200 meter track where she have to run on sand!"
Barba were quite adept at running on the sandy track. On holidays, she would visit her grandparents' place. Their house were built alongside the sea. She would always exercise in the morning. Running every morning for an hour. A 200 meter race on a sandy track was an easy feat for her. She finished first. Tatta second and Masaki was third.
