"I'm done brother, I'll be going now" Ji-Rae said, about to stand up from the table. Seongjun suddenly became alert (which was rather rare for him), quickly straightening up in his seat.

"Let me come with you" he muttered.

"What? But I thought you were going to sit under the trees outside after this?"

"The transfer kid is right there. He's been staring at you ever since you sat down on the table" Seongjun whispered to her, looking down at the table and pretending to do something else.

"That little-"

"Just act normal, you'll be fine as long as I'm here" Seongjun patted her shoulder assuringly.

"Is he still staring at us right now?" Ji-Rae frowned.

"Yes" Seongjun sighed.

"I feel like an endangered species right now" Ji-Rae laughed nervously.

"Weirdos will be weirdos. I'll come with you to the library, let's go"

They both stood up and Seongjun held Ji-Rae close to him while they left the cafeteria.

Seongjun listened carefully for any footsteps behind him but he couldn't hear anything.

'He sure is sly' Seongjun thought. He pretended to trip, which actually looked like he really tripped on his own feet. He then looked behind him, pretending to look at what had tripped him.

"Seongjun! Are you alright?" Ji-Rae yelped, startled from the sudden movement Seongjun made.

"I'm fine. I just tripped over my own feet I guess... Nothing else is here.." he glanced around and quickly directed his eyes to a silhouette a few steps behind them.

He saw the transfer student, his hands in his pockets while he walked slowly, glancing at the papers on the walls here and there. He noticed that before he could get a proper look at the boy he saw how his walking speed changed quickly.

He turned back around and pulled Ji-Rae close to him again, making sure the weird male behind them won't be able to even do a thing to her.

It was one of those times when Seongjun's brother mode switch was turned on. And whenever it was flipped on, he's often over-protective or clingy and won't hesitate to go all out if it means protecting his 'little sister' as he would say. Even though the two were only weeks apart from eachother.

'He is following us. Just great. This sorta feels more like some action horror film now... Whatever. I won't let him get near MY sister' Seongjun thought, getting more determined to fight the male from behind each second.

Ji-Rae, on the other hand, felt like she was still being stared at. As uncomfortable as it was, she was gradually growing rather irritated by the weird actions this transfer kid kept doing. She felt readyvto throw hands at him any minute if he didn't stop.

Because of him, even her brothers are prioritizing her more than ever now. She felt like she was some celebrity that had a crazy stalker and was constantly worried over and guarded by her bodyguards which were her brothers.

'They're pampering me again thanks to this idiot. I swear if he keeps this up..' a slightly angered Ji-Rae thought.

To their relief, they reached the door of the library in no time, where Leeseong was seen reading one of the books Ji-Rae brought to school.

"I'll stick around for a bit. It's really quiet here" Seongjun entered the library along with Ji-Rae, shutting the door behind them.

"Thank goodness we're here, I thought the creep wouldn't stop following us" Ji-Rae breathed out in relief.

"Don't think too much of that. He'll leave you alone eventually" Seongjun replied humming softly while he made to sit in front of Leeseong. Ji-Rae sat down as well, beside Leeseong.

She took a book and instantly started memorizing some terms found in the book and a few important keys here and there. Leeseong glanced at her, noticing how determined she was to ace the tests.

"Hey slow down a bit will you? You're scaring for me.." Seongjun spoke up after staring at Ji-Rae's head that was almost stuck to the book.

"I'm doing anything" Ji-Rae hummed subconsciously, taking out some paper and scribbling down words that were connected to some terms. Her hand was writing them down in a speed that her two brothers found...off.

"Can you at least sit up straight? Your head is getting sucked in the book and your back is hunched" Seongjun put the book down to reveal his sister's concentrated face.

"Oh right. Sorry" Ji-Rae noticed and sat straight, eyes now focused on the paper she was writing on, her hand still scribbling down notes and words along with some symbols in a speed that her brothers have never seen her write in before.

Her handwriting looks a bit messy and rushed becausemof how fast she was listing down important things she found on every page of the book.

Leeseong was beside her, his eyes now staring at her hand that looked as though it was shaking rapidly rather than writing. His eyebrows moved upwards as he sighed, his hand making a move to sit on top of Ji-Rae's to stop it from shaking vigorously.

"Loosen up" Leeseong ordered. Getting Ji-Rae's attention.

"What?" Ji-Rae spoke, finally out of her thoughts, looking up to meet the worried eyes of Leeseong. His face was calm and almost unemotional, but his eyes were pooling with worry as his brows furrowed.

"Relax. You've been studying for days on end, and you barely rest anymore" Leeseong scolded her in a gentle way.

"I rest every night. I even go to bed early like you asked me" Ji-Rae replied.

"You do, but you wake up really early too. You don't even lounge around in the living room on weekends anymore like you used to" Leeseong frowned, getting more worried every time he pointed out how Ji-Rae would tire herself and barely rest.

"You've been keeping this up for two weeks now. You need to take a break" Seongjun spoke up. "Besides, you're already a smart student. You're not in the honors class for nothing you know. There's no doubt you'd ace the finals" Seongjun assured her, trying to convince her that she has nothingnto worry about and that she would finally agree to take a break.

"That doesn't mean I-" Ji-Rae tried to reason but Leeseong wasn't having any of it.

" I'm taking away your books now. They'll be staying with me for the rest of the day. I'll leave you to your review papers that you made instead. You already have enough information in there" Leeseong took the book that was in front of Ji-Rae along with the others that were stacked up before placing it beside him.

"What? No, give them back!" Ji-Rae whined, careful to not raise her voice too much since they were inside a library. "I'll still get them back tomorrow right?"

You won't get them back until finals are finished"

"Brother, don't do this..."

"I'll do it if I have to kultaseni. It's for the best. Also, you've already studied enough so it's time for you to take a break"

"Fine..." Ji-Rae groaned softly in defeat while Leeseong chuckled.

"And I'll take these two just in case" he reached beside Ji-Rae and took her pencil case where her pencils and ballpoint pens were.

"Why?!" Ji-Rae blurted out rather loudly in disbelief. The librarian shushed her, while some people in the library looked at them, some of them holding their pointer fingers up to their lips to signal her to be quiet.

"Anteeksi..." Ji-Rae apologized softly. Seongjun stifled a laugh which made Ji-Rae give him a glare.

"You mught keep writing down even more information even though your books aren't with you anymore. So to keep that from happening, your pens will be with ne as well"

"How will I be able to write in class then?" Ji-Rae looked at her brother wide eyed, wondering if he's lost it or what.

"I'll let you borrow my pen when we're going to write something in class. I'll take it back immediately right after"

"You're unbelievable..."

"You wouldn't stop, so you made me do this" Leeseong mused.

"Seriously...."

After a few moments of silence and doing their own thing, Leeseong spoke up.

"So did you eat a lot?"

"I finished the lunch you packed and Seongjun gave me half of his. Then, bought food at the cafeteria and gave me some" Ji-Rae muttered. Leeseong looked at Seongjun. Seongjun noticed Leeseong's eyes on him and looked up from the book that was about Norse mythology.

"What?"

"Did you eat?"

"I only ate half of my lunch and gave the other half to Jiji. I didn't feel like eating that much anyway"

"You-"

"Oh right, I bought some food in the cafeteria and gave Ji-Rae some"

"I could barely walk properly on the way here" Ji-Rae groaned, her head still in her arms on the table. "Seriously, you two are too much"
