Chapter 31: Old Friend

It's already dark, So Ray decide to camp somewhere but wouldn't it be nice if they stay for a night at the Dwarf kingdom. well they have trouble far enough, it can't be help but thankfully they have a wagon.

Ray enter the wagon and sit beside Ryo, he then started a conversation about their new weapon.

"The bracelet is scary you know, I swing it and it destroy the tree"

"My new bow is sturdy and it has a close quarter combat mechanism too"

"Mine is nothing interesting just a pendant with unlimited mana"

Ray look at Zed with a disbelief expression, same goes for the other unlimited mana is everyone's dreams but Zed say it's nothing special. Zed also tell them that he is lacking stamina.

Ray and Ryo who heard about the stamina thing started to show their evil smile, They even offer to train Bell. Their expression is much more scary than the Elf bandit leader.

Stamina is also an important thing for them to run around, Dodging continuously and casting spells. Ray and Ryo have trained their stamina so they won't have a problem with running, dodge and casting, but they didn't cast too many spells because they specialize in dealing physical damage.

"Zed you don't have a close combat mechanism right? Then why don't you use my sword for a defensive mechanism"

"But I don't know how to us-"

"Leave it to me, I will make sure you mastered all of the basic of swordsmanship"

His eye change again, what a devil but it's for Zed's safety because he's dealing magic damage. He know his limit, so his first fight with Ray was just a test for his power. But he realize that Ray's power is stronger than him, so Zed decide to switch from physical to magic damage.

"Don't worry too much about it, You're my first opponent after all"

"Heh, you're right so when will we start training?"

"For now I will just tell the theory and for the practical we will train at the Human kingdom"

Ray started to explain the theory to Zed, just as Ray thought Zed immediately mastered all the theory. Well Zed is a genius after all Ryo and Bell already asleep soundly.

"So that's all, you understand right?"

"I see, there is just some part I still didn't understand but don't worry I will mastered it in no time"

"Good don't overdo it, get some sleep it will help you to focus much more easy"

Ray immediately lay down and started to remember all of his past adventure, from his first fight until the moment where he face Taiga. He also miss his girlfriend Sasha, love at first sight and makes promises to marry her when he returns from his adventure.

"Just wait there I will return to Claude kingdom after I done with my adventure"

Time passed and it's already morning, Ray is the first one to wake up and he immediately prepare the breakfast for his friends. Zed is the second and of course the last one is Ryo. Ray smack him and he immediately wake up.

"There is a river there, let's take a bath together"

He take off his cloth in front of his friends and they're speechless, Ray's body has evolve drastically. Since the first time they met Ray is small and thin now his body has more muscle, his abs fill with six pack.

"What are you guys waiting for?"

They take a bath for around 10 minutes After taking a bath they immediately heads to the human kingdom.

It takes about two to three hours to reach the human kingdom, upon reaching the human kingdom they first need to verify themselves by showing some id. Fortunately for them, because Ray has a special pass to enter the human kingdom.

It's an adventurer pass sign by Miguel and after seeing it once the guard then permit them to enter the human kingdom. They wander around for a bit but Jazz is nowhere to be seen.

Ray decide to go and look at the arena and boom Jazz is there. He immediately approach him.

"Yo Jazz!"

"Oh Ray what brings you here?"

Wade, who is currently training, shift his gaze towards Ray, his eyebrows flinching and without hesitation he dash towards Ray. Jaz try to stop Wade but Ray stop him. As Wade approach him Ray stand still and wait for Wade to enter his range.

Once Wade enter Ray's range of attack, he thought he's winning but then Ray vanish from his sight and appear on his back.

"What?"

Wade try to kick Ray but Ray intercept his attack and sweep Wade's other leg. Wade started to lose balance and as he falls, Ray caught his hand and pin him down to the ground. It was over in just a few seconds, Jazz sigh he thought Wade will be more mature but he was wrong.

"How did you become this strong you bastard!"

"Hahaha, if you want a proper match I will gladly accept"

"Tch, maybe next time I just want to test your strength, hmph"

Jaz and Ray laugh, but back to topic Ray invite Jaz to the nearby inn. He wanted Jaz to know about his current party.

"Guys this is the candidate for our new party"

Jaz know Zed and Ryo but he didn't recognize Bell because just joined Ray's party a few days ago. He ask Ray who is the guy with the bow and Ray told him everything that happens from the day they met Bell.

"I see, so did you kill the bandit leader?"

"Yes I somehow manage to kill him"

What a monster that's what Jaz thought when he heard Ray kill the bandit leader himself. Even the human couldn't defeat the bandit leader.

"So I actually wanted to recruit you as an adventurer"

"Ho, why me?"

"I want someone who can support and deal damage at the same time"

"This is too soon but do you mind to stay here for a while, because I need to think this through"

"We will wait, just take your time"

So they will stay in the human kingdom for a while just to wait for Jaz to think this through. Ray once again introduce his party to Jaz and of course if Jaz wanted to know more he must join their party first.

Somewhere in the dark approximately 500 entity wearing a cloak are bowing to someone.

"In three days we will send our first warning to the claude kingdom"

"Woaaaaah!"

"So you guys can go rampage!"

"Woaaaaaah!"

The mysterious figure was planning something big and the Claude kingdom isn't aware of any threats.
