Chapter 10

I am laying down in my bed when I began to reminisce my moment together with Eli.

I can't believe that he is so sweet, heck he even tried to cook breakfast even though he doesn't know how to which results on almost burning his entire kitchen. It's a funny moment though.

We ended up eating in the local restaurant near his place called Pancake House. We ate pancakes, of course and we laughed about the hot salty chocolate that he made. He seemed pretty embarrassed during the hot choco situation which I found really cute and amusing.

Then we hang out for the day, he took me to mall to see and try things. He even bought me some sandals and blouses. Trust me, I refused but the man is persistent.

Before we went home we also went to the Ice cream parlor and ordered two cups of mint chocolate ice cream. We walked and talked. I found out similar things and different things that we have. I learned a bit more about him. I sure had a fun day.

Earlier

"Haha haha! I can't believe you put salt instead of sugar!" I guffawed of laughter while his face is already cherry red.

"Just forget it! I-im not used to these things!" He whispered desperate to make me shut up.

"Okay okay okay, I'll.. " but I was cut off by my own snickering.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry its just that haha haha your face!" I laughed again pointing at his face. After a few moments of laughing, I noticed that he too is watching me with a grin.

But not the creepy grin, the real smile.

"Staring is rude you know?" I tapped him, once again feeling the sparks in my fingertips.

We both look at each other. I know he felt it too!

"Staring is legal when you're in front of a beautiful girl" he said with a wink shoving a mouthful of pancake on his mouth which made me laugh.

'He just called us beautiful!!!!!'

My wolf squealed inside my head.

Wait what?!

'You're so distracted to his face you didn't even listen to what he says '

my wolf scolded me.

' Well I'm sorry, its not everyday you're going to have a breakfast with a lycan, pretty much Elijah himself '

My wolf didn't answer after that. Well I guess she agrees on my statement.

"I thought staring is rude?" I snapped out of my thoughts when Eli talked.

Dang! Am I staring that long! He will think that I'm creepy now!

"Oh! S-sorry! Its just, my wolf is" I tried to reason but stopped when I heard him chuckling.

"I understand, my wolf is all over the place too."

I smiled at that.

"You call it wolf? Isn't properly called a lycan?" I asked him

"Well yes, its a lycan but technically speaking, a lycan is a wolf breed so its still a wolf. Besides, lycan is a mouthful to say" he finished with a wink. His signature wink that can melt any creature with vagina. Ehem.. Excuse my words.

"So basically you're just lazy to say lycan and you settle with the word wolf? Lazy bum!" I teased him sticking out my tongue playfully.

He laughed at that. "What are you five? Hahahahaha"

"No!! In fact! I'm 19!!!! And I'm mature!" I crossed my arms on my chest acting all smug and prideful.

"Right.. Mature.. Right" he stated when chuckling.

"Now please give me the syrup! I need more on this pancake" I playfully commanded him.

"As you wish my lady" he bows and squirts some syrup right on top of my pancake. "

Present

My thoughts began to drift as I am slowly getting sleepy when I heard a loud banging on the door of my room.

Who could that be? Nobody's knocking in my room since the incident happen. Its not like they need me anyway.

"Open the f*cking door Lina!"

Flinching on the loud voice, my head began to process everything.

"Don't make me bust this door open! You won't like what's going to happen!!"

Jasen's schedule of coming home is not until tomorrow!! Oh what am I going to do!!

Debating on opening the door or not, I decide to act all sweet and lovey dovey to him so that he would not hit me. Like he did multiple times when he is pissed. Just like he is now.

I slowly opened the door to find a sweating, frustrated, not to mention mad Jasen leaning in my door staring at me like he wants to burry me alive. Or worst, eat me alive.

"Jasen! Hey Love! I thought you're going home tomorrow I missed you!"

Lies.

I smiled, the best smile that I can do and hug him tapping his back awkwardly in the process.

When he didn't respond. I lean back loosing the awkward hug then I hold his forearms acting like I care. Because at this point, I really don't.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Oh so this is what you want huh? You're going to pretend that nothing happened when I am away in a fucking meeting huh?!!"

He yelled shoving me right into the wall.

H-how did he know?! He couldn't possibly know that I accidentally slept at the lycans pack house. And that I ate breakfast with Elijah himself. Unless..

"I-I.. U-uh.. Don't know what you're talking about" I said while straggling tiptoeing so that I would be not choked by his tight hold on my collar.

"You don't know huh? You don't know what I'm talking about! Then what's this!?"

He dropped me in the floor finding something on his pants then shoving the thing to my face.
