Chapter 03
A promise
In a town near by a girl kept walking nervously in her living room the girl was blonde with green eyes wearing black .
“Katy stop it! you are making me nervous” said a boy who was much taller than her she turned quickly glaring at him .
“How I can stop I can’t find it?” replies Katy, her mind was swarming with different thoughts
“Katy why are you doing this, it has been a long time?” asked the boy with sympathy
Katy took a deep breath “Because I promised her that I will find her baby and protect it I made a promise Luke and I will not break it” she replied
“Then I am with you, do you remember what actually happened?”
“She was human Luke, I do not get why he viciously killed her”
“Maybe he knew that the baby was special?”
“You might be right when I bite the woman she tasted different”
“Different! How?”
“I don’t know she tasted human but her blood has a mix of something different”
“Ok then we search for the man, how did he look like?”
“Evil he was tall he had a gun and a sword he was a hunter definitely a Winchester because he was cold as ice he had a look in his eyes like he knew the woman yet he did not care about her he slaughtered her with cold blood”
“Did the woman recognize him?”
“Yes, she feared him begging him not to kill her but he killed her, she begged me to find the baby and protect it from him”
Luke had a thinking face then he looked to Katy took her in his arms and said “Don’t worry sis we will find the baby”
She turned to him asking “we?”
He replies “yes, we don’t you remember we are in everything together”
She hugged her little brother thanking him .
Luke left going in the woods thinking, he was a brunette with green eyes nothing can tell that he is a vampire except if he smiles you can see the fangs but not clear
Meanwhile Danny locked her door and went on a walk it was near midnight she could not sleep nor eat so she went for a walk near the woods Danny would look to the woods and feel safe like she belonged she touched the twigs feeling power, Luke caught a scent a mix of vanilla and chocolate he got near the scent to find a beautiful brunette Danny was standing near him she felt a sudden calmness and she smelled a mixture of coffee and almond she looked into his eyes blue caught green they held eye contact for a while just lost in each other’s eyes until Danny heard footsteps nearing them she started to panic Luke got close to her holding her mouth then leaped into the trees
Klegan was walking near the woods trying to find a way to get near Danny without her threatening him not to touch her he wanted Danny to be his as she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, he did not care if she was his cousin or not he will have her even if it led him to kidnap her he will have her, walking away from the woods
Luke took Danny down from the trees they walked to the canter of the woods their hands brushing with no words exchanged; they stopped at a log and sat down
Luke kept gazing at her studying her she was beautiful no she was gorgeous an angel sent down from heaven
Danny broke the silence “I shouldn’t be here, you shouldn’t be near me I am a Winchester a monster”
“I don’t care” he replied still gazing at her then he said “I do not care if you killed any of my kind or if you are a zombie I care about you”
“I didn’t kill anyone, I just” she took a deep breathe “I was forced to start training today”
“Forced what do you mean?”
“I don’t want to be a Winchester”
“How come?”
“I don’t want to be a killer, a cold heart person who cares for no one but themselves”
“Then what do you want to be?”
“Free”
“Free?”
“As in not forced to kill, not hide from the world, free to choose who to be and where to go and who to hang out with”
“Oh!”
“to get as far away from Klegan”
“Klegan who is Klegan?” Luke couldn’t stop the snarl that he gave
“My bastard of a cousin I have who believes I belong to him”
“What! Did he touch you?”
“Oh no dear no, he tried but I broke his nose and hit him where the sun cannot shine”
They both chuckled “you are a one badass you know?”
“I know” she replied
“If it is okay I would like to get to know”
Danny was shocked yet she smiled “you want to know me?”
“Yes”
She asked “why?”
“Why, what?”
“Why me?”
“Because you fascinate me”
“I do?” she was happy
“Yes, you do”
Danny was blushing then she replied “I would love that very much”
They kept talking enjoying each other company
“Does the sun burn you?”
“Not really we could walk in the sun but we have to wear heavy cloth it burns us but not immediately “
“What do you mean?”
“We start to have minor burns then if we stay too long in the sun it becomes more and more until we are completely burned, but if we hide for a while then we would return to normal”
“Where did you come from?”
“To be honest I do not know but I heard a rumor that a witch fell in love with a man and when he rejected her she cursed him and that might be why we exist”
“As horrible as that sounds but I am glad that happened or we might have not met”
Luke helped Danny climb her window then asked “will I see you later?”
She replied “of course “ he kissed her on her forehead and jumped disappearing in the woods.
she was going to wait for him, she felt safe with him and she knew that he would do anything to protect her and that she will die for him.
