CHAPTER FORTY

Seine was a small not too-far off kingdom south of Cambria. It was a little quaint kingdom filled with scenic grasslands and tropic trees. If given an opportunity to ride on a horse or carriage, it would be a day’s travel or if on foot, a day or two. It was well known for its peaceful atmosphere and its kind people. Although now that they had heard the whole story from Lady Cassandra, it was more populated by males and children. Females were reported to be confined to their homes and rarely be seen in public. There was even no record of female travelers that ventured in and out of the kingdom. It was said that their prince, Prince Hughes, was planning to expand the territory by marrying into one of Lord Dalton’s cousins. That is, of course, one of the reasons why he kept on visiting the castle as well as the sisters of Lysander in Gildan. Let’s just say that his sudden change of plans by going after Lord Dalton’s wife was pretty stupid of him.
