CHAPTER FORTY – ONE

Auria pushed open the door to the sound of laughter. Some were chuckling darkly while others were squealing pathetically. She can even hear some muffled sniffling which somehow alarmed her prickled her compassion but she hardened her heart. If she wanted to get justice, then she must show these people that she means business.

As she approached the hall, the laughter became boisterous and seeming too forced but Auria inwardly cringed as they continued their sordid affair. One of the men, who was almost naked but for his breeches which clung obscenely onto his hips, suddenly looked up and saw the young girl who stood in the middle dressed in light armor and a mask in her face.

“Hey, Hughes! Is this the new entertainment?” His hand gesturing at Auria.
