“Wake up, sleepyhead.” A voice called out to Auria.
Auria rubbed her eyes from the sleep crusting her eyelids. She sat up, her stomach grumbling and protesting from the lack of nourishment. Jenny came forward into the dream dressed in a simple blue dress. Auria looked at the opened windows and noted that the sky was still drenched by the afternoon sun, the birds making their way from one tree to another.
“How long was I out?” Auria asked huskily, noting that she was still wearing her mask and her light armor although the green blood was wiped from it. She noticed that her weapons were laid out on a table nearby, newly polished along with her boots.
Jenny placed the food beside Auria’s bed where she could easily reach out. She then dragged a chair and sat near her friend. She smiled slightly.
“Two days.” Auria flinched and grimaced, rubbing her nape. Jenny grinned. “The boys had the time of their life in arguing who would carry you over the threshold.”
