CHAPTER FORTY – FIVE

After the talk with her grandfather, Auria took a much needed bath before dressing up in a clean white loose tunic and brown fitted pants. She wore her face mask and pulled up her black boots before braiding her long black hair. She took her sais and strapped them on either side of her hip before striding out the room. She strode down the corridor, intent on finding her comrades before they ride out for their new mission. Servants passed her and gave her enough room to walk through. Some even bowed in deference.

Auria inclined her head, her eyes focused and trained on a familiar figure who was walking ahead of her. Realizing it was Jenny, she ran lightly until she caught up to her. Jenny had changed her clothes, wearing a loose blue tunic with black pants and black boots. Her short blond hair swung near her chin as she jerked back and looked at Auria.
