CHAPTER FIFTY – FOUR

Auria’s jaw dropped as she saw the fairy queen emerge from the shadows. The last time that she had seen the fairy was when they had spoken that night before they had arrived in Gildan which was almost like a decade ago. She had never heard from the fairy queen after the events that had transpired four years ago. She had thought that the queen preferred her solicitude with her kind that’s why Auria didn’t think much about her sudden disappearance. Finding her in this place was all kinds of wrong.

“Your majesty.” Auria curtseyed, followed by her companions, each bowing their heads in deference. The queen waved her hand in dismissal before Auria could look back at her. She straightened before fixing the queen with her gaze, her eyes shifting from the queen to the figures standing a little behind her.

“I didn’t expect to see you here.” Auria stated as she turned back to the fairy queen. Queen Giselle smiled kindly at her before looking at the people behind her.
