dragged my feet to my locker. I dreaded seeing Wes so early in the morning. I thought I was ready. But when I saw him at his locker, my heart plummeted to the floor..well, it felt like it. I gulped and felt my heart sped up as I shuffled closer to him. I looked straight ahead, trying so hard not to look at him, but his beautiful presence betrayed me. A new burst of courage just came over me as I thought that enough was enough. Steeling myself, I stood tall in front of him. When his eyes fell on me, Wes looked a little surprised. His eyes looked wide and I could see many expressions lurking in his brown ones.
"Hey Wes." I said simply, trying hard to hide the tremble in my voice. I wanted to look at him dead in the eye, but I couldn't.
