‘As usual I have no idea what you are banging on about.’

‘Why? So she doesn’t ruin your plans?’

‘Exactly.’

‘She loves me, and so do you.’

‘Don’t flatter yourself Phoenix.’ Kelley said walking away.

He pulled her back, her back bounced off the kitchen unit. He placed his hands either side of her. ‘You know if it weren’t for Ash and Ke I’d be with you.’

‘Get bent. I’d never go with you.’

‘Get used to it Ke me and Ash are together and we will be for a very long time.’

‘I am it’s you that can’t stay faithful.’

‘What can I say I’m popular.’

‘With who?’

He stared at her blank. ‘You’re in on this too. We need two of you when we finally catch up with Scorpion.’

‘You really expect to find him?’

‘With Kieran’s help I do.’

‘And if we say no?’

‘You’ll suffer pain, until you say yes.’

‘Is that how you got Ash into this?’

He smiled.

‘You’re sick.’ She snapped in his face.

‘She enjoys it and so shall you.’

His face centimetres away from hers. Her breathing becoming heavy. ‘See you aint all as big as you make out to be. That’s why I like you you’ve got balls, but you’re weak just like Ash.’

‘I’m not weak.’

‘You are, you and Ash will both do as I say.’

‘Never!’

He moved closer. ‘You’re even sexy when you’re angry.’

‘What’s going on?’

Phoenix looked at Kieran. ‘Nothing Ke. Just giving Kelley the run down of how things work round here, and that we’re all in it together.’ He said dropping his hands off the kitchen unit.

‘So you going for Scorpion then?’

‘Yeah. Like I was just saying to Kelley we need two girls. We all know what Scorpion’s like.’

‘Is that wise?’

‘Yeah you too get stuck into the very last fight.’

‘You sure Phe?’

‘You do know how to use a knife right?’

‘Yeah course I do.’

‘Good.’ He paused. ‘We’ll I’ll leave you two to it.’

‘Sure.’

Phoenix walked away. Closing the hut door behind him.

Kieran wrapped his arms round Kelley. ‘Did he threaten you?’

‘Sore of.’

‘Stay calm Kelley once this is over we’ll be out of her I promise.’
