Justin Hearshaw aka Sandman is a very reserved male in his mid twenties Who has a deep dark secret to do with his past and his brother Makenzie aka Ice who have both been through hell and back because of. Justin’s past with their parents. 
Justin meets Kaleen a eighteen year old college student whilst he is working in a club that her and her friends visit. He has to get to know her but there are two problems facing him mark her long term boyfriend and Adrianna her step mother who she loathes he has to make her see he is the only one for him. But will she accept him or will she decide to run?

Sandman

Sandman opened his eyes, slowly waking up. ‘Where are we?’ 


‘I thought we’d be there by now.’ 


‘Turn off at the next turning. We need some more gas.’ 


Kaleen continued to drive up the motorway she turned off onto a slip road and drove a little way down it and turned into a garage. She pulled up, Sandman got out and filled up, he went into the shop paying for the gas and four bottles of lemonade and four chocolate bars. He leaped into the car shutting the door behind him. ‘Here these should keep us going until we get on the ferry and get a proper meal.’ 


‘Cheers bro.’ Ice said taking two bottles of lemonade and chocolate bars off him. 


‘Here.’ He said passing a bottle of lemonade off him. 


‘Thanks I’ll have them on the way.’ She said turning out of the garage 


She drove down the road. ‘Can you find some tunes out.’ 


Sandman opened the glove compartment looking through the CD’s. ‘What do you want on?’
