It seems like everybody found their tables, and I'm the only one searching for an available seat.
"Hi-yo!" Artha Page called me, offering a seat beside him, so I made a beam of solace to him. As I strolled towards Artha, Lukas Cruz intentionally went out his foot. Making me and my snacks tripped over.
Teardrops fell as I stood up quickly. I brought out my book and opened it.
"Temperate Glaciers!" I cast a spell, and luckily I've made it. A block of Glacier appeared, floating above me. The degree or intensity of the warmness display of the canteen diminished.
"Have you forgotten my ability, Magician?" He asked and made a villain-like grin.
Oh no! Wrong decision. I have failed to remember his power because of what I've felt lately. What will happen now? I asked myself.
Lukas Cruz elevated his hand and produced a big fire, like from the infernos. My spell suddenly vanished, all the lump of the glaciers melted and that made me totally useless. Is it my time now to say goodbye?
"Run!" I shouted.
I ran into the table, then ducked. I used the table as a shield from him.
"You can't do that to me, Wolfhart!" He called out.
He's after me with wicked and feats of ingenuity elements. He constantly throws a huge ball of fire on the tables. The tables were liquefied, outpouring, like a syrup. Instead of reading spells, I just ran swiftly. Trying to escape that "fireman". Yeah, thank me later for putting some amount of irony in that sentence. At the moment, let's go back to the scene where I was about to bid my last farewell.
"Don't run, Crybaby." He bellowed.
I summoned a bunch of Imps, a mythological creature similar to a demon or fairy. But it didn't give much impact. They can't even lay themselves to Lucas. Every time they're near, Lukas will effortlessly strike them with his Ruyi Jingu Bang.
"I surrender, it is my loss. I'm sorry." I muttered.
I accepted my defeat, waiting for him to land a forceful blow.
"Fight me, Sky. I want an indisputable win." He said.
I just let his words pass my ear to the other one. I take no notice of him.
"Enough, unrefined swine!" Someone yelled.
It was Artha Page, insisting to end the conflagration. From what I've seen, he seems horn-made right now.
"Both of you are not children anymore, so stop being a child and be a man!" He uttered.
"Oh, the Prince is picking a fight." Lukas said.
"No, I am not." Artha said.
Lukas Cruz disregards what Artha said. Again, he grinned. Lukas raised his hand in front of his chest, near the clavicles, and produced a great amount of fire. But this time, it's not just an ordinary fire, it's a vivid blue flame.
Artha steps back; mentally withdraws from the situation.
I think he's arranging the parts of details on how to beat Lukas ass off. Hooray! Artha just made a move. He created a barrier. He generated a colorless, translucent, and inodorous fluid streaming around the excellently circular geometrical body in three-dimensional space. A sphere.
I was amazed when I took a glance at it. Artha looks bizarre. All hail to him! I might end up being saved.
As I observed my surroundings. I saw Sylvia Glaze in the corner, savoring her yummy food, finely. How wonderful, she's able to snub the chaos. In the meantime, Gail Garza is just enjoying the show while drinking a soda. I can absolutely tell that she's giggling at me.
Some students ran off, panicking and screaming. The canteen is in a deranged state.
A blasting sound shakes the place. I brought back my sight into them. Lukas started to throw off his blue flames. The blue flames of him don't affect Artha, at all. But because of the continuous attacks and longevity of the sphere, it vaporized.
Artha Page gets his Crocea Mors and slashes it into Lukas. Lukas defends himself by using the Ruyi Jingu Bang. A small and hot particles sparks were thrown out through striking their simple metal rod and an ordinary long sword with a blue grip and golden cross-guard. Both of them are full of rage. They are at the highest point of their prodigiousness.
The piercing sound of their clash appears to reach the faculty. In just a few minutes the teachers might show up. But that doesn't matter to them. The wraths of the students carried them into trouble, thanks to me. Can anybody here give me applause?
Artha agilely used his ice to step up to a high position. It's kind of impractical after all. Lukas rapidly hurtled his flames to Artha. Making Artha fell down.
Artha page passes out. I felt uneasiness seeing Artha unconscious, right beside his sword. Lukas slowly walks towards Artha, giving a smile of relief. That he secures Artha's defeat.
Lukas combined the blue and red flames of him, producing a vivid violet flame. He's about to release it into Artha, but Artha unexpectedly blows up. Composing a shower of water. The color of his eyes becomes aquamarine and you know what's crazy? He's floating! Together with an Ice dragon, on the top of him. I really can't believe this. I stopped moving towards the others, begging for help. All I can say is "I hope everything's like that."
"Extreme Move: Tsunami!" Artha yelled.
A sudden outbreak came from the canteen's toilet and the hoses around the place. Artha controls the high, roaring, and big tidal waves and dismisses it into Lukas.
The fiery lad was shut down by the Ice Prince. Lukas was knocked unconscious by a great surge of moving water. Artha somehow lost his footing, causing him to fall on his knees. He tumbled. I think he used his one hundred percent strength on that ferocious battle between him and Lukas.
Few minutes passed. A couple of students arrived, carrying a stretcher for Lukas and Artha because they were injured.
A quickly came over, bringing a first aid kit, then managed me. I didn't take a lot of damage from Lukas, so let's call it a blessing. My safeness is accredited to Artha Page.
Mrs. Emily and the other teachers rolled in. I saw Mrs. Emily got worked up because of us, worrying. She asked Gail and Sylvia about what had happened.
"What happened here?" Mrs. Emily asked.
"Lucas Cruz rolled out his foot, causing Wolfhart to tumble" Gail said.
"Yeah, Lukas did it. I saw everything". Sylvia added.
"What happened next?" Mrs. Emily interrogated.
"Wolfhart showed off his emotion, he seemed to fight back, but Lukas felt embarrassment or shame. For this reason, Lukas exhorts Artha to resist. But the outrage of Sky cooled down." Gail uttered.
Yeah, yeah. However, Lukas still wants a clash, he's like another person. He showed uncontrollable anger. Sky refused and ran. If you just saw Sky earlier, you would surely laugh. He is similar to a chicken.
“Okay, back to the issue. Lukas started to throw his balls of fire. Sky cast a spell, though it's useless because he lifts the glaciers, not knowing the strength of Lukas Cruz. Basically, Sky is on his death's door. A surprising thing occurs. Here goes the Ice Prince! Artha Page. Artha defends Sky Wolfhart from the furious Lukas, so Lukas sees him as an enemy. They started their fight. The battle lasted for twelve minutes. Page used his Extreme Move, that's why Lukas was overwhelmed. And I thank you!" Sylvia muttered.
Mrs. Emily brown is somehow indulging his woolgathering.
"Umm, okay. The two of you go back to the room. I will just wrap up things here." Mrs. Emily said.
Mrs. Emily told the students to bring Lukas and Artha to the clinic.
"Bring them to the facility carefully and mend those absurd lads." She said.
Students carried them gracefully and immediately.
The canteen was like a weekend, Friday party, with a bunch of hoes, grooving in. A worked up Mrs. Emily Brown moved along her foot towards me. When she reached me, she put her hands above her hips with the eyebrows on fleek.
"Why did you fight back or showed a little bit of reaction that you want to fight?" She yelled.
"No, Ma'am. You got it wrong. I just did it because of him. If he didn't do it, then everything will just be fine. I uttered.
"You've done it, Wolfhart. You knew it from the start that fighting has an equivalent exchange. Going on to the principal's office and ending up being suspended or expelled." She said.
Okay, what have I done? I just don't want others belittle me, make fun of me. That's all.
"When Artha and Lukas woke up. The three of you will proceed to the Principal Office. Fix this mess y'all have done." She said.
As I walked back to the classroom, Sylvia joined me. She's so loud, gosh.
"Hey, Sky. A.K.A The Crybaby Chicken." She said, then laughed.
"I'm not a crybaby, and especially I'm not a chicken, it's just his better than me. On a high caliber." I said with a low voice.
My stomach made a sound, so obviously I'm kind of empty. My food tripped over.
"Here!" She said.
Sylvia gave me her Tiramisu, showing her beautiful and angelic smile. Tiramisu is a conventional chocolate dessert from a European country with a long Mediterranean coastline; Italy. Although on-time it was recognized as Zuppa Inglese because It was a favorite with the English society living in Florence in the 1800's. Oh, I forgot, this is not a cooking book.
When I reached the room, they just stared at me for a while. I bow down my head, trying to take no notice of their gossips. My chocolate-colored head, like a deodorant classmate, teased me. He looks like an idiot. Every time he laughs, his eyes will somehow lose, which makes the white teeth of him the center of attraction. I am not racial. The author is in descriptive writing, so blame him.
"Hey Wolfhart." Someone from my back, said.
I instantaneously turned my head.
"What?" I said.
"I saw you earlier." She said.
"Nice, please stop making fun of me." I muttered.
"No, I'm not." She said.
She's kinda serious while we're talking.
"Then what?" I said.
"Do you want to raise yourself up?" She asked me.
I'm unsure or hesitant about it, so I shrugged.
"I'm willing to teach you some combat skills. All you want to do is work together with me. Show me that you want it to." She said.
"Okay." I uttered.
Gail and I are about to exchange our greeting; to shake hands, but a guy intercepted.
"Are you Sky Wolfhart?" He asked.
"Yes, I am." I said.
"Artha and Lukas came back to their consciousness. They're waiting for you to come up at the hallway." He said.
"Thank you." I said.
Hold on, Lukas is waiting for me? Is he going to ask for absolution for what he had done to me and Artha Page?
"I'll be back, Mademoiselle. Thank you." I said.
Damn! She's not an unmarried French-speaking woman.
I ran off to them quickly.
As I searched for them in the building, I was surprised. The establishment is quite big and wide. It has its stairs. Their staircase has a unique design, kind of old. The school library is located upstairs, on the right side, while the faculty is on the left side of the left stairs. Our school has two stairs. Amazing. Make some noise, students.
After exploring the place, I saw Artha alone, sitting on the bench, waiting for me.
"Yo! Where's Lukas?" I asked him.
"Lukas left me. He proceeded to the Principal's Office." He said.
That Lukas really is a man of pride. Full of himself.
"Sky, can you please assist me?" He said.
"Why? What happened?" I asked.
"I can't walk properly since my bone got broken. Lukas hit me with his iron rod, the Ruyi Jingu Bang when I stepped up to the apex." He said.
"This is unforgivable!" I yelled.
"Stop Sky, It's okay." He said.
I put his left arm on my name, then grabbed his waist, so we can head towards the Principal Office.
"That move you made earlier Artha was cool." I said.
"Oh, that was my special move. You can do it!" He uttered.
"Hell no! I can't do that." I said.
"Not the Tsunami. I mean, you can carry out an ultimate move. Every Irregular has a conventional and slightly strange superlative move. Maybe soon, you might awaken your special power." He said.
So guys! I didn't know it. Am I now an outcast?
"Hope so". I murmured.
We saw a poster on the top of the room. It was the Office of the Principal.
"Hey Artha. Are you ready?" I asked.
"Yes, no issues here." He said.
When we arrived, I knocked off the door. The door knob clanged.
"Good Morning! Come in." The guy said.
"Good Morning, Sir!" Artha and I in unison.
We entered the room slowly.
What? I said. I am bewildered seeing Lukas sitting on the Principal's Chair. Can anybody explain this to me? Things are like whirling up here, for me.
"Allow me to introduce myself. He said. I am Sofronio Lukas, the Principal of Spendsor Aux Fanix, school of the Irregular, and the father of the guy you two beat up.
"Artha, we're in the territory of those beasts." I whispered.
Lukas right there is eating an apple. Acting like a boss with all might.
There's something sinister about his father. I felt uncomfortable earlier when we got here. His dark aura is oozing. Every time he smiles, there's a hint of devilishness.
"You two already know that fighting in school is prohibited. Both of you violated a rule, it is against the norms and values of the school. It seems that Mr. Page and Mr. Wolfhart are not on the same ground, which I and the school stand-in. Each of you has the quality of being deviant". He said.
I just mimicked the guy on the internet. Saying wait, what?
Artha looks guilty, he can't face the Principal. He's ashamed for what he has done, so as a friend of his. I tapped his back.
"The mess you two did are subjected to a two weeks suspension." He said.
I yelled.
"Oops." I murmured.
"What about your son? Is he included? He's responsible for that trouble. I said.
"No, he isn't." He said, smiling.
After that inexcusable decision he made. Artha and I walked out. I'm about to cry, but I remembered I'm now a man, Artha, broke out from the shell of the past. Let's bid a farewell to Auld Lang Syne. But it wasn't good at all.
I looked into my watch. It's already 10:32.
"Let's get our bags, Page." I said.
"Yeah." He uttered.
We walked to our room briskly.
"Wait, you're from a kingdom right? Where are you checking in right now? I asked.
"I lived in my aunt's house." He said.
"Where?" I said.
"In front of the Penny Pharmacy." He said.
I was shocked or startled because mine's house is near to them. It will just take a few meter steps from them.
"Okay." I said.
Our class is still ongoing. I entered our room. Artha decided to wait at the door side.
I just grin from ear to ear at them, then quickly get our bags. Mrs. Emily is writing on the board, so she didn't notice me.
After getting our bags, I gave it to Artha, then we walked.
"Where do you want to eat?" I said.
"Don't know." He muttered.
"I'll treat you to lunch." I said.
Artha and I made up our minds to try an Italian and French cuisine dish, so we went over to Donatto Agripapa Cuisine. It is a well-known restaurant in the city. We went over there by riding a taxi.
We checked for a vacant table, then began to sit. A garcon approached us and gave them their menu.
"Hey Artha, what do you want?" I said.
"Uhmm, I would like to try this Boeuf Bourguignon." He said.
"Okay, mine's Polenta kebabs." I said.
These foods will surely fill up my tummies and satisfy my palates.
It said here that Boeuf Bourguignon is a classic French dish of beef prepared and cooked in Burgundy Style, with a small piece of bacon, shallots, and mushrooms. It has red wine, included. Mine is a skewer of thyme-flavored polenta, unwrapped in prosciutto (Parma Ham), grilled and barbecued.
Post Script: This is not a date between them, this is not a story of sexually attracted to someone who is the same sex, and this is not a cooking book also.
At a later time, we're finished eating our meals. Both of us savored every last morsel of the food. Artha stayed at the table, waiting for me, settling our bill. I paid over the bills to the person who handles the monetary transactions, the cashier.
It's really tiring her, standing in the queue. This restaurant seemed modern or contemporary. You have to pay at the counter. Back in the old days, they will just leave their cash on the table.
After paying for the meals, I looked back at Artha. He readily stood up, that was a sort of signal. Then we left the beanery.
"I guess I'm heading home now." He said.
"Thank you for accepting my offer." I said.
"Merci." I said.
Was that a French word?
"Let's call it a day." I uttered.
We just smiled at each other, then we parted ways.
Holy crap! What am I going to do now? Mom and Dad attended a convention. If they'll find out what happened. Rest in peace Sky Wolfhart. One of my struggles is that my Parents are Asian. Get ready for the pangs from the Magical Hangers. Hide! The flying slippers might hit you. Run, because they will chase you with a zapping belt, and lastly, bury yourself. It's either you receive a bunch of books, then try not to drop it down by your head and hands or gotta bend over your knees to a tormenting hundreds of bean pods. That's advice from a person who suffered from it. Parenting 101.
I arrived home at one o'clock and walked to my room and changed my clothes. After changing clothes, I quickly jump into my bed.
Ouch, I forgot, this isn't a sofa. It's just made out of wood. I turned on the television, then watched the most unique and nonsense cartoon show. Jojo and the bacteria. It is nuts. Kid talking to the microorganism, using a microscope. I turned it off because it's getting boring.
I decided to catnap, try to sleep for a short period.
Zap! Gail Garza and my classmate suddenly appeared.
"Hey, hey, hey. What're you doing? I said.
"Remember I said this morning? She just smiles and winked an eye at me.
"Okay." I uttered.
"Tomorrow after the class, at two o'clock. Go to the top of the mountain Neia and find the jerkwater town called Chronogal." She said.
"Okay?" I shrugged.
"Oh! By the way, I want you to meet Rea Madraga. Her strength is teleportation. She can go anywhere she wants." She said.
I just say my greetings and smile. Why am I associated with a bunch of cute and hot girls at our school? This is an ultimate harem dream that came true. She's somehow cute. She has short hair with a curl at the ends, has chubby cheeks.
"Kawaii!" I said. Due to the excessive watching of anime, I somehow learned some Japanese words.
"What?" She said.
"Nothing." I uttered.
"Get ready, because I'm about to end your whole career." She said.
"Okay, make it sure that you won't kill me. I don't want to die." I said.
In just a blink of an eye, they disappeared.
I'm feeling worried or anxious about the things that might happen tomorrow. I'm sure that she'll beat me up like a pulp. Gail Garza is like a man! Braver than me, kinda strong also. A female dominator! The blood of a gladiator is flowing inside her veins. Can somebody boost my morale? My feminine side is howling out.
After that deep thinking, I check our fridge and drawers if there's still food. Unfortunately, I have to go to the grocery store, buy some pieces of stuff. Oh, yeah, I gotta buy band-aids and alcohol. I went to my parents' room and get the money from their cabinet, then went off to the market. It's really easy, the market is just in front of our house. After fifteen minutes all the stuff was paid. I immediately go back to the house. I was fed up, you know. So I brought out my book and try to create more spells. It's an advantage if I can create hundreds of it. That would surely put me at the zenith. I tried and tried until it reached a cold rainy night.
On my first suspended morning, I woke up early because of the noises outside. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and rolled myself out of the coat or comforter. I went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast. I cooked a spicy pork risotto. Do you know what risotto is? It is a Northern Italian rice dish cooked with broth till it reaches the utmost creamy consistency. This meal I made has lots of benefits. It will boost your immune system. It'll help you to ease your stress and depression, due to the boost production of good hormones, such as serotonin. This dish is remarkable!
I have to settle up things here before going out. I instantaneously mopped the floor, scrubbed the toilet bowl, and showered the plants. Everything seemed fine. Now, I'm gonna wash up myself.
Sky Wolfhart is currently singing brilliantly, using the shower hose as a microphone. He's enjoying it, even if he's not in tune.
I'm back! Shivering, looking for a towel since I left it. As a teenager, I used a very common skill. I quickly ran off to my room, covering my private parts. The author might see me.
I made my way to the shelves and looked after my outfits that suit for the afternoon activity. I fetched my Cuban Collar Shirt and Pleated shorts with a pair of comfortable, stylish, and one of the most popular sandals, the Jandals (Jesus Sandals.)
After that fashion show, I packed my things into my bag. It contains towels for my salty sweat, one liter of water, band-aids, and alcohol. Extra shirt, also. I will assuredly not forget to bring my food! I bought a mini-pizza earlier, it's called Pizzette, tiny pizzas.
It's already 8:00 am. I left our house to go forth to the jerkwater town called Chronogal, inside the mountain Neia. Pretty sure it will take time to find it.
