A mysterious fan and the plan of continuing

In a simple room inside the orc's city.

"I feel sorry for his death," The voice of Halius could be heard inside the simple room. In front of him, the boy, Abel, letting out quiet sobbing as he has his face covered with his hand.

"I… At least, I must complete what Calendin's have told me to, I need to go to the northeast and find his friend, I don't know how long this journey will be but just wait for me in the city," There's a moment of silence as Halius showed a shocked expression. He then took a deep breath and said to the boy.

"I will accompany you to the northeast, I'm kind of free at this moment" Abel slowly raised his head and uncovered his shocked expression. He was kind of… excited for some reason, but that changed to him sighing.

"But you mother in the city… no one will take care of here if you go away except that maid of yours" Halius shrugged and smiled at the same time, knowing well what happened to his mother in the city.

"I took care of that, sent a letter before we entered all of this trouble. She is currently heading toward a noble's household… Apparently, the wife of my brother died of a disease and he became the heir of that noble house" Abel let out a surprised expression and his mood changed in an instant.

"Well! Let's start our journey in 3 days! I'll get some things done in these 3 days" Halius smiled at him and slowly got himself up from the chair and went for the door, leaving the boy alone.

Abel himself just smiled and pressed all the necessary buttons and logged out of the game. He was greeted by the sight of his secretary, Diana. But her expression seemed kind of odd, it looked like as if she was going through a disaster.

Abel was about to open his mouth, but she suddenly extended her arm with a paper on it. The now in man form raised one of his eyebrows and read the words written on the paper, "For the creator of Xenia Online"

"First of all, let me introduce myself. People called me with the name of Thadeus,"

Even just seeing that word made him angry, he suddenly gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, almost crushing the paper itself on the process, "but don't worry, this is nothing that will bother you"

He rolled his eye and continued, "I just want to say I'm actually a big fan of you for creating this game! I like this game so much that it reminds me of something I usually played in the past, I even sent you a gift!"

Even though the letter was from the person with the same name he hated the most, he couldn't hide his excitement when he saw the word gift on the paper. He quickly asked his secretary, "Diana? Do you know where the gift from this person?"

There's a moment of silence in the room for a few seconds, Abel got agitated every single second that passed without him getting an answer. He was opening his mouth rather quickly but Diana suddenly sad to him, "The gift is… We still don't know sir, but the developers said the gift actually made the system malfunction"

He was shocked, he never expected this kind of thing before, his secretary continued her words, "It made the new updates got delayed and we can't tell you since there is no way of getting you out of the game unless you logged out"

Abel was silent for a few seconds. He got a little nervous about this situation and produced some sweat but quickly said to her, "That's why the system hasn't changed much! Hire more developers, tell them to make anti-malware protection, I don't want any of this happening again!"

She bowed to him and then said, "I will do as fast as I can, sir! It is about time that the developers are done finishing with the updates. You can enter the game again, sir!"

Abel nodded, and she made her way and left the room, leaving the man alone, thinking about it, "This guy… Thadeus… Must be a coincidence, there is no way there's only one Thadeus in history that is good in the field of technology! That man isn't even born to this world yet!"

A thought suddenly showed up in his mind, the death of the grand elder of the elves, Calendin accompanied with the scene of his last breath and words to the boy, 'I still thought of that moment… that old man… even though I didn't know him before I played this game… that expression is just too real, it reminded me of the co-leader of the team…'

He took a deep breath and sighed. He then shook his head furiously over and over until the thought was completely gone from his mind. The man then cheered up out of nowhere and said to himself, "Time to get some break!"

After a short break of 3 minutes later,

The man, having his hand on his stomach and smiled as he made his way toward the game capsule once again. He pressed the button and do all the things he is supposed to do to enter the game and found himself at a white space just seconds later.

It was completely white except for some words right in front of his eyes, which he noticed right away. He approached it and then saw the content of it. Just about the new updates.

The now-returned-to-boy-form smiled when he saw this. He then directed his way to the checkmark just below the notification tab. And all of a sudden, his surrounding fell apart, pixels by pixels, and he found himself back at the game.

The boy smiled when he noticed all the symbols that once crowded his views were gone and only the health bar and mana bar could be seen. Right after that, the door that led into the room open and the prince of dwarves, Thorgrim, entered the room.

He smiled when he saw the boy still smiling, Thorgrim then placed himself on the seat Halius sat on just a few minutes ago, "What's on your mind, kid? Suddenly smiling out of nowhere like that. Anyway, I heard you were going to the north, why don't you let me stick on?"

Abel noticed the prince that now sitting right in front of him and smiled, "You want to stick with me on my journey? But why, though? Is there any business you would like to attend in the north?"

The prince chuckled, "Don't you know the heart of the dwarf kingdom is in the north? The place I govern is just the outskirt of the kingdom. I need to visit my father to give him my report of the orcs, especially our encounter"

Knowing this information, the boy gave an "Oh," Before continuing his words, "Well, I guess we could go together. We will leave this place in 3 days, I need to prepare something before going to the north, would be a long and fun journey!"

Thorgrim chuckled once again when he heard these words, "Long? It won't take us 3 days if we use ship! There's a dwarf outpost just a little north of my kingdom, straight connected to the sea. We can actually make our way tomorrow morning if we leave this orc city by this afternoon!"

The boy was surprised. He quickly smiled at the prince and said, "Well! It's good then, I'll just inform you that my friend is accompanying me in the journey, I'm going to talk to him real quick and inform him for the change of plan!"

The prince nodded and left the room afterwards.
