Chapter 6

The woman suddenly came towards me. In one swift motion a stood and grabbed the fire poker, and and pointed it right at her head as she ran close. It went right through her left eye and into her head. I let go and grabbed the second fire poker, then I felt a excruciating pain in my lower back.

I looked behind me to see the white haired woman, and a knife in my back. And turned quick and the woman pushed me down. I tried stabbing her with the fire poker but she grabbed it and pointed it at me. I looked behind her and saw the Queen unconscious. I backed up from the woman quickly and she watched. I held my back before pulling the knife out and throwing it at the woman without aiming.

I laid down before I could see what happened, and held my back in pain. I heard a thud as I felt my blood draining. I then did the only thing I could think of, yell.

I started screaming for help and soon 3 guards kicked down the door, I passed out right after.

When I woke up, I saw I was lying in my bed. Was all that a dream? I sat up quickly only to be forced to lay down, by the Queen.

"You lost a lot of blood, and the doctor said you shouldn't be sitting up for awhile." She said in a whisper. I looked up at her as she leaned down and kissed me. I hesitantly kissed back, to distract myself from the growing pain. She looked at me and smiled,

"I'm grateful." She whispered. I nodded and sighed,

"You're welcome.." she hugged me and kissed my cheek. I didn't stop her either.

Awhile later, Connor burst into the room and ran over,

"Are you okay?!" He yelled. I looked at him and nodded,

"Yeah we're okay-" I said. The Queen was asleep on me, again. Connor looked at both of us back and forth, and then at me,

"Are you two- sleeping together?" He said. I sat up quick and shook my head no. He laughed and pushed me to lay down,

"Calm down, I won't tell anyone anything, buuut- I WILL set a date up for you guys!" He said excitedly. I sighed and shook my head again.

"That's really not necessary Connor." I said. He smiled and shrugged.

"Too bad, it's happening." He said and left the room.

I looked at the Queen, and then at the ceiling, and talked to myself,

"I gotta get outta here..." Just as I said that, the queen opened her eyes and looked at me.

"A date sounds fun." She said. I looked at her, and felt my eyes widen. She looked at me, and smiled before laying her head in my lap.
