STAR STRUCK TILL SHE BLEEDS

Hana stayed inside her room the whole day when she got back. She only went out to get food then went back to her room to continue drawing.

Beside her table was trash bin that was almost full with crumpled papers and tissue. They were all stained but she didn't care at all.

When she finished sketching the cafe, she left a note on the right side in small letter. "My first and my last."

She looked at it, smiled at the satisfaction and set it aside. She flipped another page and sketch her boss who was stealing glances at them earlier.

When she was outside, directing Lily to do this and that, she would sometimes look at him in her peripheral vision which was why she caught him watching them.

She also knew that he looked after her things but she still asked earlier just to have a simple conversation with him.

After an hour, Hana raised her hand and stretched her body. Sprawled on her study table was a figure of her boss who was looking at her. She cut the piece of paper from it's very base and put it inside the clear book.

After drawing, she would make sure to cut the paper and place it on her ring bound clear book. That was also the reason why she left something in the cafe on her first day. She only took a piece of ordinary bond paper from the cafe and sketched her boss. She was planning to put it in her clear book but she foolishly left it. Thank goodness, it was her co-workers who found it!

Hana called her brother and argued with him in a bit. Not really argued but more like, she sulked and told him her grievances which in the end made her brother give in to her condition.

"I promise I'd be very careful. If I get hurt again because of my stupidity, you can throw my sketches and all my materials. Deal?"

Adam didn't want her to go through pain again but even so, he couldn't really stop her. He agreed but he knew that he wouldn't really throw her things even if she breaks her promise.

"Fine. I don't mind with this deal." He answered in his most boring tone.

"I knew it! I know you love me bro. Don't worry, your sister will keep her promise."

"You should cause I will really burn all your art materials if you don't." Adam threatened her but Hana only grinned while listening to him.

The next day, like a bird who gained her freedom, Hana skipped and sang happily towards the kitchen. Her mother was preparing for her bento while his father was drinking coffee at the dining table.

"Have breakfast before you go." Rudolf told his daughter who was obviously elated that she'd go back to work.

Hana put a fried rice on her plate and a scrambled egg. She didn't like bacon a lot so she only got one piece and a piece of hotdog as well.

"La la la la..I'm going back to work..La la la la...I can finally draw my boss." she sang happily while pouring the fresh milk on her glass.

Rudolf and Alice could only sigh at their daughter's silly countenance. "Make sure to eat a lot. You don't gain weight anyway." Alice reminded her.

"No problem ma. I will eat a lot so that you won't worry." Hana responded to her mother. She still have an hour before her shift starts and, if she would take a cab, it will only take her fifteen minutes to get there, so she wasn't in a hurry at all.

"By the way, did you tell your boss to clear your schedule on the 30th of the month? You know that day is very important." Rudolf told her and base on her awkward reaction, it was obvious that she did not.

"I will let him know later." Hana replied before shoving another mouthful of fried rice.

After eating her breakfast, she immediately left and the cab was already waiting for her since the guard know when she'd go out for work.

"Have a great day ma'am!" the guard greeted her politely.

"Thank you chief."

Hana went to work with so much joy which made everyone curious with what happened to her.

"You seem really happy." Lily stated to her since their locker were beside each other.

"Oh yes I am." Hana didn't bother hiding the truth at all. "I am so happy that Adam agreed to make a deal with me." she told them one of the reason why but she wouldn't tell that she was happy because of their boss.

Jacob came to see if everyone's around when he heard the name Adam again. Whenever Hana spoke of this person, she seemed really happy even when she said last time that she hated him.

"Morning boss." everyone greeted him and that included Hana herself. She pulled out her sketchpad from her bag and gave the drawing to Jacob.

"Boss, it's not really that amazing but I hope you still like it." she handed him the sketch which made everyone gasped in awe.

"You really are good at this." Lily commented in a daze while looking at the sketch in front of them. Of course she was looking forward to it as well since Hana used her as the model.

"Thank you. I'll put this up later." Jacob replied, turned around and left. "Make sure to finish up. We will be opening the cafe soon."

"Hey Hana, are you that starstruck of our boss? Your nose is even bleeding." Her colleagues made fun of her which frightened Hana.

She immediately covered her face and ran to the comfort room. "My gosh! That was embarrassing! Aahhh! He would certainly think that I am a pervert!" Hana tugged her hair while splashing her face with the water. She let the blood flow out and waited for it to stop before she wiped herself clean and went out.

"Are you okay?"

Hana had her hand on her chest, calming herself from being startled. "Can't you not startle me boss? I could have a heart attack."

"Sorry. I was just worried about you." Jacob was clearly reading her face for any expression but Hana knew how to keep her emotions in check now.

"I'm fine boss. Thank you for your concern. I will go back now. I still have to work." She walked away as quick as she can to hide her embarrassment from him.
