Chapter 249: Kingdom Building

Kaylin, Yelenia and the Diviner trail around me like flies after a savory meal. All looking for answers, orders, praise. Praise, I suppose the Diviner is worthy of such, but after my discussion with Lotar I know there's a lot to adjust in the way he carries out my worship.

Frankly, a part of me wants to stop…not stop entirely, more like let things be. See how they evolve. If my religion births a Deity with my name and powers similar but beyond my own, that won't be so bad right?

Yeah…there's the problem. I haven't the slightest clue if it will be a horrible thing, I don't want to create a deity only to have them look upon me the way all other deities do. But I know earning respect from a deity is no easy thing, I'd have to give up a lot, to have their respect.

But even then, respect doesn't equate loyalty or even and alliance. So I've got no other choice than to correct this little mistake Lotar has so helpfully pointed out.
