Chapter 84

- Aahahah I caught you bug!

A bug in the head, Sam began to dig into the brains of the creature and found a bug.

Finally he found him, he swallowed the bug and finally the euphoria and adrenaline receded. Sam immediately became exhausted and fell next to the corpse of the dark.

When Sam finally regained consciousness, it was already morning.

Obviously, the hand was pierced by a dark humanoid, most likely the bones were damaged, the wounds were already mostly healed on the outside, but he could not move his hand normally yet.

He got up with difficulty and looked back at the corpse of the dark man, little remained of his head.

Sam did not begin to figure out what was what right now, he put the remains of the dark in the ring and took his sword, which was lying nearby.

Putting on the clothes from the ring to cover himself up, he checked the mark and where it was pointing, and then wandered back.

This wasteland was barren, and Sam never met anyone. Approaching the forest, he decided to avoid meeting anyone until he had the opportunity.

On the way to the castle, there were almost no problems, he coped with a couple of creatures that did not leave him alone.

Finally reaching his wretched dwelling, he climbed inside, took out the bed and fell on it. He managed to have a little snack on the road, now the most important thing was a good rest.

Sam woke up in the middle of the night, after all, the day on the planet lasted about 20 hours, so he managed to recover a little.

The hand had already recovered and was able to move normally, which is obviously quite abnormal in itself, considering that it was recently made a kebab.

As soon as he remembered the bugs, he cringed, he grabbed his head and it seemed to him that he was going through this hell again.

He tried to get the bugs out of his head and calm down, but he did not manage to do this right away.

He remembered the battle with the dark one worse, but it is obvious that that creature mainly used attacks based on spiritual energy, and Sam was sure that without the help of his mutation, he would not have got off so easily.

At first, Sam thought that everything that happened was the fault of a mutation, but after thinking it over carefully, there are other options.

He went off the rails not because of the mutation, but in spite of her attempts to help him.

He was trying to remember all what happened to him and his feelings during the events. Though, memories about those bugs were pretty hurtful for him even now.

He came to conclusion that all these searches for bugs were due to the fact that after awakening, dark energy gave him a signal in a certain direction, and nothing more.

But due to his mental state, Sam was unable to respond adequately.

He didn't know why he was trying to pick the bugs out of his own head, but he suspected that it was also part of a mental disorder.

He was a bit scared remembering this episode.

Perhaps the mutation also caused strong emotional fluctuations, but if Sam was in a normal state, then it would definitely not have come to such madness.
