The night was getting deeper gradually. Ava took a bath and wore a thin nightdress. When she moved into the villa she had brought her own clothes with her but she never wear them because Oliver already stocked all kinds of clothes in the walk-in closet for her and ordered her to wear these clothes while she was here.
The sky was dark and gloomy it was a sign of a typhoon. Ava stood in front of the window and was watching the angry clouds in the night sky when she heard a car honk. She looked down and saw a car stopped in from of the villa. Shortly after a petite woman got out of the car. There was a heavy wind outside so she ran toward the door of the villa.
Ava couldn't see the face of the women in the dark but her heart felt heavy thinking, that must be one of Oliver's women who came here in the typhoon to warm his lover. Oliver was still downstairs, she wanted to see who the woman was but she was not sure if it was a good idea to go downstairs. What if Oliver gets angry? She thought for a while and then decided to go down and have a look.
Ava walked down the stairs casually and saw in the magnificent living room, Oliver was half hugging a woman and there was a dotting smile on his face. The women's back was toward the staircase so Ava still couldn't see her face. She felt bitter in her heart, so she was right, another of his women came to see him.
"How is the typhoon outside?" Oliver's voice was so soft full of care and worry, he was so focused on the women in front of him that he didn't notice that Ava was there.
Ava heard Oliver's gentle and caring voice and remembered the woman on her first night at the villa. She didn't want to witness the same affectionate moment between the two so she decided to go back to the bedroom and leave them alone.
"It's not that bad yet but I didn't want to take the risk so I decided to drop by. I hope you don't mind." The soft voice was very coquettish.
Ava just turned to leave but hearing the women's voice she froze. Why the voice sounds so familiar? She had heard it before somewhere. In fact, she had heard it recently, suddenly she thought isn't it the voice of the women she met at the hospital today? Erika?
"Not at all, go up and take a bath," Oliver said softly.
They turned and saw Ava was standing at the stair in a daze.
Erika saw Ava and she was surprised she excitedly asked "Miss Green, What are you doing here?"
Ava was still frozen in place when Erika talked to her. She had mixed feelings in her heart, just this afternoon she and Erica exchanged WeChat and thought they could be friends and now she was here at Oliver's house. Ava didn't know how to react to that. She squeezed out a smile and with a nod said, "Hello, Miss Knight."
Ava noticed that Oliver's hand was still on Erika's shoulder, she thought they looked good together like a perfect couple. She didn't know why but she was hurt seeing them together.
Oliver's indifferent eyes narrowed slightly, he was about to ask how did these two women know each other when Erika suddenly said, "Wow Mr. Knight you have hidden a golden goose inside your house!"
Oliver gave Erika a look, but there was no blame in his eyes, instead, it was full of dotting, he smiled and didn't say anything.
Erika however looked at Ava carefully who was wearing Chanel limited edition pajamas, she clearly understood that her cousin was living with Ms. Green. Her face lit up. She was really happy to see Ava here.
Ava felt really embarrassed so she quickly said "I'll go back to my room."
"Miss Green, wait for me, I need to change my clothes I'll come with you." Erika was as enthusiastic as this afternoon.
"Well, OK," Ava said blankly.
Inside the walk-in closet, Erika quickly picked up a set of pajamas and asked Ava, "How does it look, Miss Green?"
"It looks good," Ava said sincerely with a small smile on her face. She thought as a celebrity Erika had maintained her figure well, so anything she will pick would look good on her.
"Miss Green, do you live here?" Erika said with a warm smile. Although she already guessed it but she wanted to confirm it from Ava.
"No... No...I don't, I'm just Mr. Knight's personal doctor. Mr. Knight said he wasn't feeling well so I came here to check on him but got stuck because of the typhoon." Ava was surprised at herself for lying to Erika so fluently. Her lying capability was getting better and better.
"It's good that you decided to stay here tonight it's really dangerous to go out in the storm." Although Erika already saw through Ava's lies but she didn't want to embarrass her more so she didn't expose it.
"Yes," Ava said in a low voice. She felt bad that Erika was being so nice to her but she kept lying to her like that. But what could she do, since Oliver didn't explain anything she couldn't tell Erika the truth either. She still didn't know what was their relationship so it was better to lie than create complications.
After picking the clothes Erika walked toward the guestroom and Ava was lost in her own thoughts. Suddenly she heard the sound of locking the door she turned and was surprised to see Oliver there.
"What are you doing here?" Ava took a few steps back like a frightened rabbit. She felt uncomfortable thinking Erika was next door.
"What do you mean? This is my room, where would I be?" Oliver gave her a look that said why was she asking such a silly question.
"No you can't stay here tonight, please get out of here." Ava tried to drive him out of the room. What if Erika came here and found Oliver and Ava together. What will she think?
"Why should I get out of my own room?" Oliver turned and held Ava in his arms. He understood why the woman was trying to drive him away.
Ava's face turned red. Looking at her red face Oliver couldn't hold anymore he leaned forward and started to kiss her. Ava wanted to push him but she was tightly imprisoned in his arms.
