The Invitation

The surrounding atmosphere around Ava suddenly became very cold. Ava felt like someone was choking her, she felt very suffocated. She felt very guilty thinking Sarah had to go through all that because of her.

Amy looked at Ava's angry face and knew things were not simple here, she asked Ava, "Ms. Green, is Sarah all right?"

"Amy, don't worry Sarah will be all right. You go back home." It took Ava a while to calm down but when she did she already knew what she was going to do.

Amy looked at Ava's calm face and she knew Ava will take of this matter so she decided to listen to her. "OK Miss Green, could you please let me know when you find her? I'll be worried."

"I will, go home and stay safe," Ava said softly.

After sending Amy, Ava quickly changed her clothes, took her bag, and head toward KNIGHT International resolutely.

When Ava barged into Oliver's office with a pale face, Oliver was startled. He looked at Ava carefully and saw that she looked really lost and he already knew something had happened. Oliver got up from his seat and quickly came to Ava and took her in the arm. Looking at Ava so upset Oliver felt very tense.

"Av's, baby what happened?" Oliver asked gently in a comforting tone. He knew Ava well enough to know that she wouldn't have come to him at this hour if it was not something serious.

"Oliver Sarah... Sarah was kidnapped by Kiara. I don't know where she is now." Ava couldn't hold back her tears anymore, till now she was strong but the moment Oliver held her in his arm, her emotion collapsed. She started to cry like crazy.

Ava thought about it carefully, she didn't know what extent Kiara could go to drive her away from Oliver's life. Today she harmed Sarah, tomorrow it could be someone else she cared about. She couldn't take that chance.

Ava didn't believe that Kiara will let Sarah go even if she left Oliver and what about the indecent photos she was talking about what if to get revenge she actually posted them online, Sarah's life was already in a mess and if her reputation gets ruined because of Ava, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself. Only Oliver was capable enough to deal with this mess and he knew Kiara well so Ava decided to ask for his help.

Oliver frowned, his eyes became cold and full of rage. He said calmly, "Ava, honey come down, speak slowly and tell me what happened?"

Ava looked up at him and suddenly she became angry, she started to punch Oliver on the chest and said with grief. "It's all because of you that crazy woman kidnapped Sarah and took her indecent photos. Now she was threatening me to leave you, she even said if I call the police or tell you anything she will post those photos online and ruin her reputation. What Sarah had to do with this Oliver. It's you who doesn't have a clear relationship with other women and because of that my cousin had to suffer."

Oliver understood why Ava felt angry, it was indeed his fault. So he let her vent her anger on him. He gently wiped her tears, hugged her tightly, and tried to soothe her. "It's OK. It's my fault, I am sorry baby. Don't worry I'll take care of it. I won't let anyone harm you or your family."

Oliver's eyes were fiercely looking at the distance. How dare Kiara do something like that to make Ava leave him? Suddenly Sarah's innocent face came into his mind, the girl was cute and polite, she even sweetly called him brother. He felt very happy when she called him brother. Now Sarah was kidnaped because of Oliver so he must save her.

Seems like it's time to make things clear with Kiara. He was trying to be considerate towards her feeling because of their years of friendship but she dared to play tricks on him by hurting his girlfriend. He had to remind Kiara who was Oliver Knight.

Oliver immediately picked up his phone and called Uncle Joe. He used to be in a special force so naturally, he had experience with this kind of situation. Oliver knew only Uncle Joe was capable enough to handle Sarah's kidnapping efficiently and quietly.

Oliver asked Uncle Joe to use his connection to find Sarah as soon as possible and asked Ava to go home and wait for the good news. However, Ava shook her head and said earnestly, "Oliver, please let me go with Uncle Joe. I won't be able to rest until I see Sarah safe."

Although Oliver didn't want Ava to run around in the search mission but he understood Ava's concern so he nodded his head and said, "OK."

Ava left with Uncle Joe to find Sarah while Oliver called Kiara and invited her for dinner.

Kiara was already in a good mood because her plan was working well and she was very confident that Ava wouldn't dare to tell anything to Oliver, so when Oliver called and asked her to have dinner at the hotel she was even happier. Kiara thought tonight was her night, she made a special effort to dress up and look more sexy and alluring than usual. Of course, her aim was to sleep with him tonight.

Shangri la hotel.

Kiara knocked on the door of the room softly. Oliver sneered and looked at the door coldly before opening it. He had been waiting for her for a long time.

As soon as Kiara came inside, she jumped into Oliver's arms and held him like a koala. She was ecstatic that Oliver took the initiative to invite her for dinner for the first time and not to mention he opened a room for them, everyone could understand what that meant so her happiness could be seen in her every action. She thought Oliver must be in a bad mood because Ava had broken up with him and that's why he called her.

"Oliver, how did you thought of inviting me to dinner at the hotel today?" Kiara said in a soft and sexy tone, her eyes looked enchanting and she was rubbing her body to Oliver intentionally.

Oliver was a little annoyed. He didn't know why she would always intimately touch him whenever she gets a chance. If only Ava could tease him like this he would be so happy.

"Isn't that what you always wanted?" Oliver said coldly, there was no smile on his face.

Hearing Oliver's cold tone Kiara froze awkwardly in place. She neither got close nor distanced herself. She was a bit confused and scared at the same time. Kiara raised her eyes and looked at Oliver suspiciously thinking did Ava told him everything?
