The Demand

After the three men walked outside, Kiara looked at the girl lying on the floor and said, "Mom, let's quickly take the pictures."

Lucy crouched down and took off Sarah's clothes leaving her only in underwear. Kiara took out her phone and started to take Sarah's pictures. She took more than 30 pictures of Sarah in different poses.

When she was done she put her phone away and asked Lucy, "Mom what's next?"

"Let's get out of here first, and then you can call Ava Green," Lucy said coldly after dressing Sarah up.

"Do we leave her here? What if something happens to her?" Kiara looked around and said uncomfortably. The place was deserted. She didn't want to a little girl she just wanted to take some pictures of her and threaten Ava to leave Oliver.

"We don't have to worry about that. Johnny will pick her up and lock her away once we leave. Let's go." Lucy said calmly, she had already arranged everything.

Outside the OT.

Ava came out with a smiley face and walked toward the Dean, a large number of doctors were surrounding the area to congratulate her. Her operation was successful.

"Congratulation Director Green, you pulled it off," Dean Davis said with a wide smile. He was very proud to have Ava on his team.

"Thank you very much, Dean Davis."

"Dr. Green, let's have a meeting and discuss the operation, I want you to share the experience with some of our experienced surgeons.

Amy waited for nearly 40 minutes outside the operating theatre, feeling more and more anxious every minute. Finally, she saw Ava come out of the OT and she ran towards her. She didn't care about the doctors surrounded Ava, she just needed to talk to her.

Ava saw Amy and she was surprised. She asked with a smile, "Amy, what are you doing here?"

"Miss Green, I have something to tell you. It's very important." Amy was anxious but looking around and seeing so many people she was hesitating to tell Ava about Sarah's kidnapping.

Ava frowned because looking at Amy she had a bad feeling but the Dean called for a meeting just now, "Amy can you please wait a while longer, I have a meeting now."

"No, it can't wait, Ms. Green, it's about Sarah," Amy said excitedly, and there was panic in her voice.

The Dean who was silently listening to the conversation between the little girl and Ava turned to Ava and said, "Director Green, it's alright, attend the girl it sounds important. We can hold the meeting tomorrow. We're all tired anyway."

"Thank you, Dean." Ava quickly said feeling grateful.

Ava pulled Amy toward a quiet and secluded corridor of the hospital and asked gently, "Amy, what happened, what do you want to tell me about Sarah?"

"Miss Green, I think Sarah is kidnapped," Amy said uncomfortably.

she knew she was talking about something that was not believable but she had to make Ava believe that she was telling the truth.

"What? Kidnapped? What do you mean?" Ava was confused, she knew the girl in front of her and knew she wouldn't lie to her for no reason but she was lost thinking why would anyone kidnap Sarah.

"At noon, I was talking to Sarah over the phone, she went downstairs to throw the garbage bags and suddenly said there a silver van in front of the house and she saw 3 suspicious men wearing masks. At first, I thought she was making mistakes because your house community was a safe place but then I heard Sarah's shouting and struggling and then the call got disconnected. Later I tried to call her but her phone was switched off."

After hearing everything, Ava was shocked. She couldn't understand who would kidnap Sarah and why? Ava took out her phone and realized it was off, she switched it on immediately. Within a few minutes she received a call from an unknown number, Ava's heart missed a beat.

Ava tried to calm herself and picked up the call. "Hello?"

"Hello Miss Green, How are you doing?" Kiara's shrill laughter came from the other end.

Ava felt annoyed, she thought Kiara called to talk about Oliver again, She had no mood to talk to her at that moment so she said sharply, "Miss Anderson, I am really busy at this moment, please stop bothering me."

Ava was about to disconnect the call when she heard Kiara say, "Miss Green you are really impatient, I am calling you to let you know about your cousin. I see you don't appreciate it at all."

The blood instantly drained from Ava's face and she started to tremble in fear. She never thought a noblewoman like Kiara Anderson would play such a dirty trick to get to her. She asked anxiously, "Miss Anderson, what did you do with my cousin? She's just a child, let her go. You have a problem with me then come after me. Let my cousin go."

Kiara listened to Ava's arrogant tone and said, "Well, Miss Green I gave you a chance, didn't I? But you just wouldn't listen so what else could I do?"

Ava felt like she was burning from anger hearing her she clenched her fist and said coldly, "Aren't you afraid that I will tell Oliver?"

Kiara smiled and looked at her painted red nails then said arrogantly: "What are you waiting for then, hurry up and tell him."

Ava knew why she was so confident, she knew Ava wouldn't risk Sarah's life over Oliver, "say it, what's your demands?"

"Oh, it's a simple demand, Leave Oliver," Kiara said with a wide smile.

Threat! Ava hated threats the most in her life, but at this moment she was worried about Sarah so she decided to compromise. "Fine, I promise you I will leave him as soon as you let Sarah go," Ava said with distress. She felt restless thinking about her cousin and she could not calm down at all.

Kiara didn't believe Ava so she said coldly with a sneer: "Do you think I am a fool? Miss Green, I'll give you two days. You'd better break up with Oliver, or your sister will disappear from this world. And also I advise you not to play any tricks on me, if you dare to call the police or tell Oliver, I will immediately post your sister's indecent photos on the Internet."

Saying that Kiara disconnected the call.
