When Ela was done discussing Kiara's matter, she became more relaxed and decided to ask his son about Ava Green. Kiara told her that he claimed Ava Green to be his girlfriend, although Ella couldn't say anything in front of Kiara but she was actually very happy to hear Oliver was finally dating someone. After Oliver's ex-girlfriend, she was actually worried that Oliver will never marry anyone or end up having a commercial marriage.

"So what else is going on with you recently? I heard Kiara mention something about you dating a Doctor, is it true? Ella asked curiously.

"Maybe." Oliver looked at his mother with a boyish smile.

"Do you really like Dr. Green?" Ella asked with a smile, her eyes were bright like a little girl.

She remembered meeting Ava at the hospital. At first glance, she felt the girl was beautiful, young, promising, and very polite. She could tell by the way she talked that she came from a cultured family.

Oliver gave an unpredictable smile but didn't say anything.

"What? I am asking you something?" Ella urged seeing her son had no intention to open his mouth. She couldn't understand from where Oliver got this unpredictable nature. She was not like that neither was Conner. It was really difficult to understand his mind sometimes.

"Mom, what about you? Do you like her?" Oliver asked with a smile.

"I have a good impression of her but I don't know her, you do. So as long as you like her, your father and I will support you wholeheartedly." Ella said in an understanding tone.

She and Conner were open-minded people, they didn't have high expectations for their daughter-in-law. If the person has a good heart and loved their son that was enough for them.

"We will see," Oliver said with a smile.

"So, when will you bring her home?" Ella felt helpless, he wouldn't say anything clearly.

"Soon," Oliver said lightly.

Although the conversation between the mother and son was not very open and clear but they knew each other by heart. So they were both happy in their own way by being able to have this conversation.

Ella didn't stay for very long they bid farewell and Oliver personally took her to the elevator to see her off. Down to the 16th floor, as soon as the elevator door opened, Liam entered.

Liam was looking handsome as always in his black suit. He entered the elevator and was surprised to see Ella standing there.

"Aunt Ella, How are you? Were you here to see Oliver?" Liam said politely with a humble smile on his face.

Ella was very happy to see Liam, she always loved this child since he was born. "Yes. He hasn't been at home for a long time." Ella sighed lightly.

"Aunt Ella are you free, let's go have a cup of coffee?" Liam's sunny smile always makes it hard for anyone to say no.

"Well, aren't you busy?"

"I can manage some time for my sweet Aunt," Liam said sweetly.

"Don't sweet talk me, I haven't forgotten that you didn't even come to see me after you came back from the USA," Ella said pretending to be angry.

"I am really sorry Auntie but you know Dad is not well and I have been busy at the company, please forgive me this time," Liam said with an embarrassed look.

"Fine, this time I am letting it go," Ella said with a smile.

Liam took Ella to a high-end coffee shop, the atmosphere of the shop was very elegant. They found a seat by the window and sat comfortably.

"Liam, how are you doing at work, are you happy working in KNIGHT International?" Ella asked with concern.

"Yes, Auntie I like it here, Oliver always takes good care of me," Liam said with a smile.

But the truth was since he joined KNIGHT International, Oliver has been constantly looking for him to make any mistakes. He was very strict with him and didn't treat him like his brother, instead, he treated him like an enemy from his past life.

"Liam you have grown up with Oliver so you are familiar with his temper, I think I've spoiled him too much since his childhood. Please don't take it to heart if he ever says something to upset you." Ella said sincerely. When she raised her face to look at Liam the setting sunlight fell on half of her face, making it look half-dark and half-bright just like Liam and Oliver's character.

"Auntie don't worry. I don't mind his cold attitude." Liam lowered his eyes to hide the gloom in them.

"That's good, Liam. I am really relieved to hear that. So what else is going on with you lately? You just turned twenty-six this year, right! Do you have a girlfriend?" Ella asked changing the topics.

At the thought of girlfriend a face flashed in Liam's mind, he shook his head and said smiling, "Not yet, but when I find a girl I like, I will bring her to meet you."

Ella took a sip of her coffee and said happily with a smile. "Then you have to hurry up, you must get married before Oliver. By the way, how is your father doing recently?"

"Much better. Speaking of which, it's all because of Dr. Green. She not only operated on Dad but also looked after him so well after the operation. She even pays a visit to Dad every week to check on his condition. I am really grateful to her." Liam said with a gentle smile on his face.

Ella's eyes brightened hearing Ava's name. She was surprised that Liam was so impressed by Ava. She smiled and asked, "Liam, do you know Doctor Green, too?"

Liam nodded solemnly and said, "Well, I've met her a few times but I don't know her very well. However, I think she is a nice person."

Ella smiled lightly and thought she liked Ava at first sight and if Oliver wanted to marry her she was willing to accept her as the daughter-in-law of the Knight Family.

"Yes, I thought that girl was good, too," Ella said lightly with a smile.

As Liam was good at reading people he could tell by looking at Ella that she liked Ava very much. He suddenly asked Ella in a light tone: "Auntie I heard that Oliver and Dr. Green are dating, is that true?"

A few days ago, KNIGHT International's confession was the hot news on the internet. After investigating Liam found out, It was Oliver who asked Ava out in that high-profile way. Although Liam knew it would happen but he didn't expect it to happen so soon. He was caught a little off guard.

"Well, I think it is. I just asked him but he didn't say anything clearly, you know he likes to play mysterious sometimes." Ella said shaking her head helplessly.

Liam didn't say anything else, he already got what he wanted to know. He smiled lightly and his eyes were calculative. This game was getting really interesting and fun.
