The Vegas

Oliver came to pick Ava from the hospital and took her directly to the airport after work.

Ava was stunned to see a lot of people when she got inside Oliver's private plane, two lawyers with their assistants and ten bodyguards all in black, Uncle Joe all were inside waiting for them. Oliver personally accompanied Ava to her seat. This was the first time Ava was traveling abroad through a private plane. So she was excited and enjoyed the special treatment. Followed around by the bodyguard, she felt like the president of the country. It was amazing.

Oliver's private plane was quite large, which could easily carry more than 30 people. When the plane was on the air after a while Ava got bored so she requested Oliver to tell her a story.

Hearing her Uncle Joe and ten bodyguards who were sitting right behind them sneered and thought since when their great CEO Knight learn to tell stories? But the moment Oliver actually started to tell her a story, all of their mouth fell onto the floor. who was this man? Was it really the ruthless, cold CEO they knew? Looking at the two people's affection for each other, their faces got dark? Did the CEO bring them along to show them their love, however they had no choice but to get tormented like that?

For the first time, the people around him heard Oliver tell the story of a little mermaid. Although this story was very common and everyone has heard it before but hearing it from Oliver was really refreshing.

"Oliver, if you were the mermaid, what would you do?" Ava asked leaning against Oliver and putting her head on Oliver's shoulder.

"I would stab this stupid prince with my sword, and then find a new prince," Oliver replied unwillingly and his face was covered in a haze.

Ava smiled hearing his harsh answer. She reached out and hold his finger then said with some emotion, "That means you are not loyal when it comes to love. Think about the little mermaid, she loved the price so much that even if he turned her into a flower, she let the prince because that would make him happy."

"You women are stupid." Oliver shook his head.

Ava's eyes sank slightly and she asked, "if one day I forget you, will you let me go and find someone else?"

Ava asked the question very casually trying very hard to hide her cautious mood. She really wanted to know what Oliver would say.

Oliver took her in his arms and held her tightly. He shook his head and said seriously, "No, I will keep you by my side until you fall in love with me again." then he kissed her fiercely.

Ava blushed and hid her face on Oliver's chest shyly.

Uncle Joe and the other people around them pretended not to hear, but their faces slightly twitched, they were obviously abused by Oliver and Ava's public display of affection.

The plane was flying through the clouds and it was all dark outside. Ava didn't know when she fell asleep on Oliver's arm. When she woke up, the plane was about to land.

"Oliver, how long have we been flying?" Ava asked confused. She could see the blue sky and white clouds outside the window.

"Fourteen hours." Oliver had a doting smile on his face.

"What? That long?" Ava rubbed her bleary eyes and stood up to get freshen up, but since she was seated for a long time her legs were shaking a little and she couldn't stand still or walk straight.

Oliver saw that Ava was not steady so he stood up and took her to the restroom himself.

One of the bodyguards called AJ suddenly asked in a low voice, "Uncle Joe, can we get a raise after we go back this time for getting tortured like that?"

"I'll suggest to him that myself if he didn't give us a raise then we will not follow him anymore." Uncle Joe's heart was also very sour.

Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.

Oliver and Ava checked in to the Treasure Island hotel, which was one of the tops and renowned hotels and Casinos in Nevada City. After getting freshen up Oliver took Ava for dinner and then head directly to the Casino.

Oliver was feeling very excited, he was confident that tonight Ethan would lose everything to him. A Billion dollar and the land he will take with him when he leaves the casino tonight.

In a luxurious private room, Oliver and Ethan were sitting with some other people. Oliver's face was indifferent but he had a confident smile on his face, while Ethan's face looked calm but inside he was very nervous.

Both of them brought lawyers along so before the game started they quickly signed the agreements.

They decided to divide the game into three parts. The first round will be Poker, the second round will be roulette, and the third will be played on a slot machine. As it was three different types of games so there won't be any option to cheat.

They were playing Texas Holdem, The Dealer looked calmly at the people on the table then started to shuffle the card with his skillful and steady hand before dealing the two cards to each people on the table.

The first played folded and the second called. Oliver's face was expressionless giving nothing away. He looked at the card in his hand and his eyes become slightly dim, Poker is all about bluffing.

"Raise," Oliver said in a smooth and deep voice.

"Raise." If Oliver raised then how would Ethan not raise the bet?

Ava was sitting beside Oliver, she was a little nervous. She was watching the game very attentively. Ava looked at Oliver and saw his calm face, she really admired Oliver's ability to stay calm in such an exciting moment. He looked so confident as if he would win without any doubt.

The betting ended therefore the dealer flopped. The second played folded so it was Oliver and Ethan left on the table.

"Raise." Oliver pushed forward 50 million chips.

Although Ethan was very nervous at this point but he was not willing to show any weakness in front of Oliver therefore he also pushed forward 50 million.

The dealer put all the chips on the pot, turned and put the fourth card on the table.

"Raise," Oliver said arrogantly and pushed forward again all the chips he had.

Looking at Oliver's action Ethan was now continuously sweating, he couldn't understand whether Oliver really had a good hand or he was just bluffing. However he had no other option but to raise the chips as well, he wouldn't lose to Oliver Knight.

"Raise" Ethan pushed forward the chips.

The Dealer again put all the chips on the pot, River and put the fifth card on the table then looked at Oliver and Ethan.

Oliver smiled and opened his card on the table, a queen and a six. Ethan's face got pale looking at his card in his hand which was an eight and a ten. Ethan couldn't believe it, how did he lose the game? He was so good at poker.

In the first game, Ethan lost 80 million.

Seeing Ethan's ugly and dark expression, Oliver said with a smile: "Mr. Smith, it's alright it's just one game, we still have two more types to try out. Best of luck."

Ethan lost to Oliver in poker and now he was even taunting him, Ethan was furious. he looked at Oliver with burning eyes but didn't say anything. It was not just a matter of winning or losing a game, it was about a man's dignity. He just lost 80 million, he couldn't afford to lose more. So for the next two games, he was determined to win.

"Oliver, you were great." Ava hugged Oliver affectionately. She could not express her joy and adoration for Oliver. He was really an invincible man, nothing in this world could stop Oliver from getting what he wanted.
