The Necklace

Ava and Amelia both stood there refuse to let go of the necklace. The Shop assistant looked at both of them a little embarrassed, this was an exclusive necklace and was the only piece available at this moment.

"I am sorry but I was here before you and I have already chosen this one," Ava said lightly.

Amelia also knew that the woman in front of her took a fancy at the necklace but for some reason, she wanted to snatch the necklace from her. Normally the necklace style was not her usual preference, she liked jewelry with large stones, that will attract people's eyes easily.

"So what? You didn't pay for it." Amelia sneered and said arrogantly.

"As I said I was here first and even though I didn't pay for it, I asked the clerk to take it out and I was about to tell her to pack when you came in." Ava didn't want to quarrel with Amelia so she explained it calmly.

Amelia didn't know why but she didn't like the temperament of the women in front of her. She wanted to fight with her for no reason even though she didn't know her. Ava's domineering personality was like her own personality and she didn't like that feeling, only she could be like that.

Ava felt that Amelia's hand holding the necklace was slowly exerting force. The necklace was very thin, if Amelia put pressure on it hard, it will definitely break into pieces. If the person standing in front of her today was not Amelia Taylor, Ava would probably give the necklace to her but since it's her Ava wouldn't let go so she stared at her coldly.

"Do you know who I am?" Amelia's eyes flashed a trace of pride. In this city, who didn't know her.

Ava laughed and said, "Why do I care?"

Amelia got angry listening to Ava. She glared at her as if she was going to fight her. However, Amelia's assistant came forward and stood between the two women. She was a very big woman and looked very strong.

Ava was not afraid, this was a public place and Amelia was a public figure she wouldn't do anything that will ruin her image, Ava was sure of it.

"How could you not know who Miss Taylor is? Did you just come to the city from the village today?" Amelia's assistant was as arrogant as her. Probably that's why they get along together, as people say Birds of a feather flocks together.

Ava looked at her in the eye and said sarcastically, "Who is Miss Taylor? Is she the prime minister of England that I must know her?"

When Amelia heard this, her perfect and delicate face turned red in anger. How dare this woman say that in her face! Amelia put more pressure on the necklace on her hand. She won't let this woman have this necklace today. If she couldn't have it no one could. The necklace was very delicate so it couldn't take the pressure and it broke into two pieces.

Ava and Amelia both stood there holding half of the necklace in their hands. Ava's face was calm, whereas Amelia's face looked very ugly just like their character.

"Since you like it so much you can have it now," Amelia said with a malicious smile and threw the necklace on Ava's face.

The broken Necklace hit Ava's face and she lost it. She was trying very hard to control her temper and not fight with a celebrity in a public place, however, she couldn't swallow this! Ava looked at Amelia fiercely and on an impulse, she picked up the bracelet from the counter and threw it on Amelia's face.

The assistant wanted to stop Ava, but her reaction was too slow. When she reacted Amelia's nose was already smashed by the bracelet. The weight of the bracelet was heavier than that of the necklace so Amelia's nose started to bleed.

The assistant panicked looking at Amelia's bleeding nose and started to shout in anger, "Are you crazy, what did you do to our Miss Taylor? She just did a nose job last month!"

Ava sneered but didn't say anything. She just treated her the same way Amelia treated her.

Amelia covered her nose with pain, but said to her assistant angrily: "Give the bitch a slap for me."

Ava was not some kind of helpless woman, she learned Taekwondo in college. Ordinary people couldn't beat her so she stood there calmly. Amelia's assistant came close to Ava and before she could raise her hand Ava to raise her knee and kicked her hard and she went flying a few feet away. It looked like the assistant only looked strong. The assistant's face turned red in pain and she was struggling to get up to her feet.

When Amelia saw her assistant's miserable state, she got a little scared and did not dare to act rashly. She looked at Ava fiercely and she said, "You're a dead woman. You have no idea who you messed up with, believe it or not, I can make you disappear from this world."

Ava felt amused by her reaction so she said with a bright smile: "Oh? Is that so? "

"If you dare then don't move. I'll call my boyfriend right away and you will see." Amelia said arrogantly.

She thought it was a good chance to call Oliver, although he has been ignoring her for a while but if he saw her in this pitiful state then he will definitely feel sorry for her and punish this bitch.

Ava smiled coldly and said "OK, bring it on. I'll wait." Ava guessed that Amelia's so-called boyfriend must be Oliver.

Amelia couldn't stand Ava's indifferent attitude anymore, she took out her phone and called Oliver.

Oliver was not really busy when he saw his phone was ringing and it was Amelia. But he didn't want to waste any time on such trash so he immediately rejected her call.

Amelia heard the busy tone from the other end and her face turned red with embarrassment.

"What? Your boyfriend didn't take your call?" Ava said mocking her with a sarcastic smile.

"My boyfriend is busy right now. His assistant just answered and informed me that he is in a meeting." Amelia said immediately after composing herself.

She couldn't let the women humiliate her more by letting her know that the man she claimed to be her boyfriend, didn't even take her call.

"So.. now what?" Obviously, Ava didn't believe what Amelia said.

"What's your name? Believe it or not, my boyfriend will make you and your family disappear from this city by tomorrow morning!" Amelia said clenching her hands tightly, her face was full of hatred.

"Okay. My name is Ava Green, write it down in case you forget it. I will wait for your boyfriend to throw me out of the city." Ava laughed and said coldly.
