The Fight

Amelia was furious hearing Ava's words and seeing her indifferent attitude. No one ever dared to talk to her like that before. She rushed toward Ava intending to slap her, "You crazy bitch!"

However, Ava held her hand and gave her a hard slap.

Everyone at the store including Amelia froze at placed a little stunned. The saleswomen's at the Cartier's jewelry store looked at Ava in astonishment thinking, who was this woman and how brave was she to slap a superstar like that in public?

Being beaten by Ava, Amelia felt humiliated, she again rushed to Ava. She wouldn't let her go today, she will beat her to death.

Many people noticed the commotion inside the store by that time so more people started to gather around and making videos of Ava and Amelia's fight.

As Amelia came close to Ava and was about to attack Ava, she moved and dodged her attack but Amelia who was wearing high heels couldn't balance herself and she fell on the floor.

"Since your mother didn't teach you how to behave politely, I will teach you a lesson today." Saying that Ava kicked Amelia's ass hard. Amelia who was in her fours fell forward and smashed her face on the floor.

Amelia looked very pitiful at that moment and the surrounding crowd outside the jewelry store started to talk about it.

"OMG! Is that Amelia Taylor?"

"That's just too much. How could this woman beat our Amelia like that?"

"That's right. Who does she think she is? I'll tear off her face!"

Ava listened to the passing comments but didn't bother to explain anything to anyone. She knew she was right regardless of what these people were saying. What's more, it was Amelia who started the fight. All Ava did was defend herself then how was she wrong?

Ava turned to the sales assistant and pointing to another necklace on the counter she said, "Wrap this necklace for me please."

"Yes Yes." The clerk nodded her head hurriedly, afraid of making Ava angry.

Amelia got up from the ground and saw Ava was about to leave, she stretched out her hand, and with her sharp red fingernails, she scratched Ava's calf hard leaving four very long scars.

Ava felt pain and subconsciously kicked Amelia. Amelia didn't see that coming and again fell on the ground and hit her head.

The assistant saw Amelia was lying on the ground in agony, she hurried to take care of her.

Ava quickly swiped her card and paid the bill before she got out of the store with her head held high. When the crowd outside the jewelry store saw Ava coming out they made way for her. No one dared to say anything to her or challenge Ava. After all, they had just witnessed what Ava did to the two women inside.

Ava's calf was bleeding and because of the pain she was walking with difficulty but that didn't stop her. She quickly got out of there and went straight to the hospital.

Amelia's assistant saw the crowd and thought this was a good chance to get the public on their side so she said with a pitiful face and teary eyes, "My friends, you all have just witnessed how arrogant that woman was and how badly she beat our superstar. I hope you people can come forward and support our Amelia. With your help, we will take that woman to court for this abuse today!"

"Miss Taylor, are you ok?"

"Yes, Miss Amelia, how are you? You should go to the hospital and get a check-up immediately."

"Miss Amelia, don't worry we have seen how that bad woman treated you. We will expose everything on Weibo and let the whole world know."

"Don't worry, Miss Taylor. I've made a video just now. I'll get justice for you!"

"Thank you," Amelia said with an embarrassed face and bowed to the people.

Seeing their idol bow down in front of them, the fans were certain that Ava was an evil woman and they become even more determined to get justice for Amelia.

After returning to the hospital, Ava walked into her office and saw Charlie there.

Charlie didn't notice that Ava was hurt but he saw her face didn't look good. He quickly asked, "Director Green are you alright?"

Ava looked at him and said with a forced smile, "I am OK, Dr. Byrne. Thank you, but could you please get me some disinfectant?"

"What? Why?" Charlie asked puzzled and then his eyes fell on Ava's leg and he saw the blood that's when he realized Ava was hurt.

Charlie was shocked for a moment looking at the hideous red scares on Ava's calf. He quickly ran to get disinfectant and some bandage before Ava could explain anything.

"Dr. Green, how did you get hurt like this?" Charlie asked with a heavy expression and his eyes were full of pain.

"It's nothing. I accidentally ran into a fence." Ava said lightly. She didn't want to talk about the incident right now.

Charlie sterilized the things, squatted down, and wiped Ava's wound very gently. Ava's legs were thin and long. If this wound left a scar there it will look very ugly. Charlie hoped it doesn't leave any scars.

"Dr. Byrne, leave it, I'll do it myself." Ava felt embarrassed to let Charlie take care of her wound. It's just a scratch anyway, no big deal.

However, Charlie wouldn't let go. He looked at Ava with gloomy eyes and said firmly. "Don't always try to be brave."

Ava fell silent and let Charlie do his job. After cleaning the wound with Hydrogen peroxide, Charlie applied some ointment and covered the area with a bandage. Ava was very tolerant of pain so she didn't make any sound during the whole process.

While Charlie was taking care of the wound, Ava was thinking about the whole incident that happened in the jewelry store today. Suddenly her phone started to beep. Ava saw it was a notification from Weibo.

Amelia's fans were very fast. The video of Ava beating their Idol very cruelly was already on Weibo. Within an hour there were over 100 million viewers and 300 thousand comments on Weibo. Each of them was blaming and scolding Ava.
