Proud Erika

After staying silent for a while Erika said in a low voice, "That's all in the past. I knew that Arvin liked me so I was also attracted to him but now he is engaged, which meant he didn't feel the same way for me anymore, so why should I waste my time on him. I want to move on too and be happy." Erika said proudly hiding her true feelings.

Hearing Erika Ava felt really sad for her, she clearly understood that Erika still has feelings for Arvin. They really looked good with each other then why things turned this way. Why Arvin was marrying someone else?

"Rika, you need to sort out your feeling first and also need to understand whether you are infatuated with Sam or really like him. You cannot force these things you know."

"I understand Av's. Although I am not sure how I feel about Sam but I know I really like him and I want to see where it could lead us. Maybe I would find the love I am looking for in Sam. Who knows?" Erika said with bright and hopeful eyes.

Ava felt distressed listening to Erika, she knew Sam had no feelings for Erika so if she continued to this path she will only be heartbroken. She only could pray that Sam would see how beautiful and kind Erika was and give her a chance.

Ava said softly, "Rika, no matter what you decide or whoever you chose to be with I will always support you."

"Thank you, Av's." Erika hugged Ava tightly.

"It's OK. Go ahead, didn't you want to find Arvin?" Ava smiled and patted Erika's shoulder.

Erika gave her a bright smile and walked out of the changing room to look for Arvin.

Arvin didn't play much today, he was really in a bad mood, he felt like his head was about to explode any moment. He was lying in the reclining chair beside the pool lost in his own thoughts. He couldn't understand why Erika came here with that man today. Arvin was already irritated and now his fiancée was also here nagging him, he was feeling very frustrated. All the wrong people were here to find trouble today.

When Erika came to find him, Jessica and Kiara happened to be there as well. Erika didn't even look at them she came beside Arvin and said in a domineering tone, "Arvin, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Hearing Erika's familiar voice, Arvin immediately took off his sun hat, which was covering his face, and sat up straight on the reclining chair.

Jessica's face got ugly seeing that, she has been asking Arvin for a while to accompany her to the restaurant but he refused directly saying he was tired and was not hungry and now when Erika called him he jumped up straight as if all his tiredness was gone just by hearing her voice. Jessica's felt like her heart was bleeding.

"Yes, what is it?" Arvin pretended to be calm.

"Let's go somewhere else, it's too crowded here." Erika glanced at the two women and said coldly.

"Erika, why do you want to talk to my fiancée? Don't you have a boyfriend?" Jessica couldn't stand it anymore so she said angrily trying to remind her about the man she came here with.

"Yeah so?" Erika's eyes darkened and she deliberately grabbed Arvin's arm and gave her a sly smile.

Erika's action completely enraged Jessica and she rushed forward with an ugly face and pulled them apart. She stood in front of Arvin and said in a cold and stiff tone, "What do you think you are doing? He is my fiancé?"

Arvin felt a headache caught between the two women. He looked at Jessica and said in a cold tone, "That's enough, Jessica. Don't make any more noise."

Kiara saw that Jessica was about to mess things up more, she immediately winked at Jessica trying to grab her attention however the girl didn't even look at her so she elbowed her and said calmly, "Jess, I'm hungry. Let's go and eat something."

Seeing Jessica didn't move at all Kiara had to forcefully pull her before she gets more excited.

"Arvin, Erika, never mind Jessica, she didn't have breakfast this morning so she is really hungry and that's why she is in a bad mood," Kiara said with a smile and pretended to be virtuous and sensible.

Compared with Jessica Kiara was indeed very sensible and open-minded which could make anyone feel grateful toward her. However, Erika knew Kiara very well, she knew all this was just a pretense because Kiara is very good at disguise. If she didn't know that then she would believe her words just now. Jessica might be a short temper but she was stupid, Kiara, on the other hand, was a cunning woman, so among the two Kiara was more dangerous than Jessica, and Erika was well aware of that.

Erika saw Kiara almost dragging Jessica away she couldn't help but mock her by saying from behind: "remember to take your medicine."

"You should ..." before Jessica could say another word Kiara covered her mouth and with great effort as she pulled her away.

When they were far away from Erika and Arvin, Kiara said to Jessica shaking her head helplessly: "Jess, what the hell do you think you were doing just now? I'm so disappointed in you. Do you have any idea that if you have said the wrong thing today in front of Arvin then he might have broken the engagement with you on the spot? Don't you know how he feels about Erika? Do you want our plan to work or to fail?"
