Dangerous people

Although Erika was not in love with Sam but still being deceived and used by him like that she was very hurt. In fact, her family has always been protecting her very well especially Oliver, so no one ever dared to hurt her like that and that's why it was kind of a big blow to her.

"Brother, when did you find out about it? Did you know this all along?" Erika slowly sat down and fixed her mood then asked Oliver.

She remembered clearly that Oliver was against Sam from the moment she told him about him, so she guessed Oliver already knew about it. Now Erika wished she believed Oliver rather than rebel against him.

"Rika, I did know about it since the beginning and that's why I told you to stay away from him." Oliver now regretted not telling her about Sam at the beginning. If he did then his sister wouldn't have to go through all this now. He has been protecting her since she was so little and today he failed to protect her from Samuel.

"Then why didn't you tell me earlier?" Erika started to cry again as she threw herself into Oliver's arms.

"I'm sorry Rika, it's my fault. Rather than warn you I should have told you about Samuel and Ava. I just didn't want to hurt your feelings." Oliver sighed and caressed Erika's head gently.

"If you had told me back then, I would not be so stubborn and go against you." Erika quietly kept sobbing on Oliver's arm.

"I'm sorry, blame it on me."

"It's ok Brother, I don't blame you, you did try to warn me but I don't understand why Ava lied to me? I need to talk to her, is she back into your villa?"

Oliver was silent for a while. His face was so calm that there was no trace of sadness or joy.

"Actually we broke up," Oliver said indifferently, but his words brought back his broken mood.

"I am sorry Brother, don't be sad, you will find someone better." Erika took a sniff and stopped crying.

Erika thought Sam was the most simple person she had ever met but now after knowing everything she realized some people just mask their plotting mind with an innocent face. Those are the most dangerous people in this world. They could easily come close to you as a friend and stab you in your back. It's really difficult to know who was real and who was fake in this world.

"Rika." Arvin who was sitting there quietly suddenly called out her name softly, He wanted to tell her that he loved her and he was there for her.

"Yes." Erika looked up.

The words Arvin wanted to say suddenly stuck in his throat and he couldn't get it out. Maybe one day he will say it but he can't do it at this moment not when she was hurt like this. Arvin Sighed and said, "You are really lucky to have a brother like that you know? Don't ever forget that no matter what you can always count on us."

"I know, Thank you, Arvin," Erika said with a gentle smile.

"Brother, I want to go to the hospital. I need to talk to Ava and Samuel." Erika suddenly stood up and said very seriously.

"Ok, I'll take you there." Oliver knew Erika's character well. She needed to clear things out with both of them otherwise it will always be a thorn in her heart. She needed closure.

Oliver made a call and found out that Sam was admitted to Ava's hospital so he immediately took Erika to Beijing Tiantan Hospital.

When Oliver and Erika arrived at the hospital they decided to see Samuel first and went directly to his ward. Erika got inside the ward and saw Samuel was lying on the bed and his body was covered in bandages. Although Erika hated him for what he did to her but still seeing him wounded and lying on the hospital bed unconscious, she still felt bad for him. She stood there silently.

Oliver decided to give her sister some privacy so he went out and head toward Ava's office. He saw Ava was not there, one of the nurses informed him she was doing an OT so he walked toward the OT.

Oliver got there and Ava came out within five minutes after finishing the operation. She was wearing her green surgical suit and mask. She didn't notice Oliver there, she was tired and slowly took out her mask and took a couple of steps before Oliver blocked her path, she looked up and stood there stunned for a minute seeing him.

"Ava." Oliver looked at her indifferently.

Looking at him Ava suddenly remembered Sam's bruised cover body and she got really angry. She didn't want to talk to him at all so she walked around him and was about to leave but Oliver grabbed her arm and pulled her to the corner and pressed her against the cold wall. Ava shivered in cold and gritted her teeth, looked at him coldly.

Oliver realized the wall was cold so he pulled her away from the wall and said softly, "Come into my arms, the wall is cold."

Ava just looked at him angrily and said, "Oliver, what do you want? Stop pretending to care about me, ok! I know what kind of person you are."

He was pretending? When did he pretend, he really cared about her why she was torturing him like that? Oliver didn't like Ava's cold attitude toward him he said angrily, "Ava, what do you mean by that?"

"Why did you hire people to beat Sam up?" Ava asked.

"I didn't," Oliver said in a low voice.

Ava froze. He didn't? How is it possible? Sam doesn't have any enemies beside him, it must be him.

"So you are telling me it has nothing to do with you?" Ava asked angrily.

Oliver looked at Ava with penetrating eyes for a while then he leaned forward and said in her ear with a smile, "I didn't hire anyone to beat him, I did it myself."

Ava was dumbfounded hearing him and her heart tightened. "Why did you do that? Oliver, you are so mean. What will it take for you to stop this game?" Ava asked dejectedly, She was tired of all this.

There was a smile on Oliver's cold face as he said coldly, "The game has already begun, how can I stop it now? I must see the end of it."

"And how are you planning to end it?" Ava creased her eyebrows and asked worriedly.

"I don't think I need to end it, it will eventually come to an end sometime."

Ava found it difficult to communicate with Oliver so she gave up and said, "Oliver if you have nothing else to talk about then I'll go back to my work. My patients are waiting for me."

"Actually I came here to inform you that Rika is looking for you," Oliver said with an unpredictable smile.

Ava's whole body became stiff hearing that and looking at Oliver's smile, she had a bad feeling that something bad is about to happen.
