Exposing Samuel

After Oliver and Arvin got out of the park they came straight to Erika's place. Oliver needed to tell her everything today.

Erika who hardly gets up early in the morning was coincidentally up today and she was lying on the sofa watching a TV play. She starred in that play and seeing her acting skills, she thought she needed to improve a lot, she had still a lot to learn.

The doorbell rang and Erika wondered who could be here this early. The maid won't be here for another half an hour. Erika got up to open the door and was very surprised to see Oliver and Arvin standing at the door.

"Brother? Arvin?" Erika looked at Oliver then Arvin. Her eyes fell on Arvin's blue face and Oliver's red hand, she wondered two busy businessmen, why were they looking like college students who just had a fight?

"Why are you two here?" Erika asked, leaning against the door.

"What? Can't I come to see my sweet sister?" Oliver smiled and walked into Erika's apartment and Arvin followed him.

Erika closed the door, turned, and looked at the two men on her living room couch. "Brother, don't you have work today?"

"I worked too much for the past few days so I took off today." Oliver smiled.

"What about you Arvin and what happened to your face?" Erika asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I had a fight with someone," Arvin said honestly with an innocent face.

"What? Are you two crazy, how old are you? Aren't you two the dignified CEO's how could you fight like thugs?" Erika scolded them.

Oliver didn't say anything but Arvin said, "Well to save the princess from evil, her knights must fight, what is wrong with that?"

Erika was speechless she glared at Arvin and got inside to get the first aid kit without another word. She sat down and took out the spray and sprayed it on Oliver's hand first then she turned and spayed it on Arvin's face.

Arvin was very happy with the way Erika carefully put medicine on his wound and blow it, he thought the punch he got from Samuel was worth it.

After Erika was done Oliver looked at Erika and said seriously, "Rika, I have something important to tell you."

"What is it, brother?" Erika put away the first aid kit and looked at Oliver with creased eyebrows.

"We have beat Samuel today at the park," Oliver said calmly.

Hearing that Erika jumped up from the sofa in rage and said, "Are you crazy? Why would you beat Sam? What did he ever do to you?"

Oliver was familiar with Erika's temper so he knew she would get excited, hearing this but he didn't get angry instead he was very calm, he said, "He shouldn't have played with your feelings?"

Looking at Oliver's too calm face Erika didn't have the courage to argue with him, he looked terribly calm that's not a good sign and she knew it. But how could she swallow it? Looking at the two she could guess what they have done to Sam, she was really worried about him.

Erika calmed herself and said, "Oliver what makes you think he is playing with my feelings? And since when you started being so nosy?"

Hearing Erika Oliver got angry, he was trying to protect her from that devil and she was telling him he was being nosy, how ridiculous! "I am being nosy? Erika, you have any conscience left, when did I meddle in your business?"

"Well, aren't you meddling in my and Sam's business now?" Erika said angrily.

"Oh, my sweet little innocent sister you are so naïve. Let me tell you, no I am not meddling in your business I am taking care of my own business. Do you know how? Did Samuel ever tell you that he is Ava's childhood sweetheart? Erika open your eyes and try to see it clearly, he doesn't love you at all. His purpose of approaching you from the beginning was for Ava. I'm sorry that you are so passionate about him that you couldn't even see it and he kept using you like a fool." Oliver sneered and looked at Erika indifferently, as he exposed Samuel completely in front of her.

Erika was stunned hearing Oliver, Sam is Ava's childhood sweetheart? He approached her for Ava? He has been using her all this time? Oliver gave too much information in a very short time and Erika felt her head was dizzy with all this information.

"What are you saying brother? That's not possible I don't believe you." Erika seems to have a very hard time processing all of this.

"If you don't believe me then go ahead and ask him personally, my silly sister." Oliver's words were like a sharp knife stabbing Erika's heart.

"How is this possible, he is not that kind of person and neither is Ava. They won't deceive me like that!" Erika kept babbling to herself unable to accept it.

Arvin saw Erika's state of mind was not right he quickly stood up and took her in his arms, "OK, Oliver enough, don't say anything else. Erika, it's ok, everything is ok, you are ok. I am here for you."

"Arvin, he is lying to me, isn't he?" Erika tightly grasped Arvin's shirt and asked in a pleading tone to tell her that Oliver was lying.

Arvin looked at her and felt pain in his heart. He held her tightly and said in a low voice, "Rika, I am sorry, but what Oliver said is all true and that's why we had to beat him up."

Erika stood there in Arvin's arm and let him comfort her. She wanted to laugh at her foolishness, the two people she thought were very important to her both deceived her at the same time. One was her good friend, the other was the person she thought was her future. No wonder even after knowing how she felt, Sam never agreed to her because his intention was to use her to get close to Ava!
