Kind-hearted Ava

Oliver's men took care of Ethan's men inside and brought Mia outside. The moment Ava saw Mia she rushed toward her and hugged her tightly. This silly girl was about to sacrifice her own life for Ava, how would she ever replay her?

"Mia, are you alright?" Ava asked worriedly. She knew Mia must be very scared to witness such a horrible incident today. This kind of thing usually happens in the movie, not in regular people's life.

"I... I'm fine. Are we safe now?" Mia was still a bit shaken. She thought she was going to die today, but Mr. Knight came at the right time and save both Ava and her.

"Yes, we are. Let's get out of this terrible place." Ava held Mia's hand and said softly.

Oliver led the two women to the helicopter and sat beside Ava. He took her hand in his and suddenly noticed her wrists were red and swollen, and some of the places were even scratched. His face instantly darkened, 'Ethan, you bastard.'

"Your wrists are hurt. Are you in pain?" Oliver's eyes were full of heartache.

"No, it's fine. It's just a little scratch." Ava took back her hand and said with a smile.

"What exactly happened today? How did you get kidnapped by Ethan?" Oliver asked her confused.

Ava looked at Oliver with a guilty expression. She didn't want to involve the poor mother and daughter so she said lightly, "I was deceived by Ethan. Forget it, it's all over now anyway."

"CEO Knight, she's lying. She got out to..." Mia, who was quietly listening to Ava and Oliver's conversation saw Ava was trying to hide the main reason why she got out of the hospital, she decided to tell Oliver the truth. It all happened because of the mother and daughter. If they didn't trick Ava then they wouldn't have to suffer like this today.

However, before Mia could finish her sentence Ava interrupted her and said, "Mia, don't talk nonsense."

"I'm not talking nonsense, Ava. Even after all this happened you still want to let go of the mother and daughter?" Mia said in a slightly angry tone. She couldn't understand why Ava wanted to save the mother and the daughter.

"Miss Easton, you tell me what is going on?" Oliver looked at Ava angrily and said to Mia. He didn't know why Ava always felt the need to hide things from him.

"Well, Mr. Knight, at noon today, Ava received a call from her patient's mother. The mother said that her daughter was in a critical condition at home, and they couldn't afford to come to the hospital. So she asked Ava to pay a house visit. Ava agreed and when we got there we both were knocked down and kidnapped." Mia summarized everything that happened today.

Ava looked at Mia with a helpless face, this girl spilled out everything in front of Oliver. Now, what if Oliver went after that poor mother and daughter? Their family was already in a bad condition and now if anything happened to them because of her she would never be able to forgive herself. Ava believed there must be a reason why Lenin's mother did this to her. Now she will have to convince Oliver not to harm them.

"Oliver, please don't be angry. I didn't mean to hide it from you but think about it that little girl is already living a difficult life and I am sure her mother had a reason for making that call. Knowing Ethan I wouldn't be surprised if he threatened them with life to call me. Please let them go. You have already punished Ethan why bother with those poor people?" Ava said quickly when she saw Oliver's dark face. She knew he was getting angry so she needed to explain why she was trying to hide it.

When Mia heard Ava's reasoning. she felt a bit guilty in her heart, she never considered that Lenin and her mother could be threatened by those people. Now that she thought, it actually made sense.

Oliver pursed his lips and flicked gently on Ava's head. Then he shook his head and sighed, "Ava, you are too kind-hearted. That's a problem with no solution. But baby, I can't let you suffer like that. From now on, anyone dares to hurt you, I will kill them."

"Then will be a great sinner." Ava pouted.

Ignoring her statement Oliver gave her a side glance and asked, "Didn't your parents and teacher teach you to stay away from strangers? How could you run to a place not knowing anything?"

"Well, I thought a life was at stake so I didn't think about it at that time. I just wanted to help the little girl." Ava said guiltily.

Oliver looked at Ava and thought she was so kind and lovely, suddenly his angry face became warm as he looked at her affectionately and called out softly, "Ava!"

When Ava looked at Oliver, without saying anything he held her in his arm and kissed her passionately. His heart filled with warmth, this was the best feeling of life, being able to see her, hold her, and kiss her. There was no other feeling that could make his heart this peaceful and happy.

Ava wanted to stop him, after all, they were not alone here. Although this was not the first time he kissed her like that in public, but she still felt embarrassed in front of Mia. Ava raised her right hand and started to push him but Oliver held her hand tightly. Leaving with no choice she started to hit on the shoulder weakly with her fist.

Oliver still didn't stop. In fact, when her soft hand fell on him it felt like a massage. Oliver enjoyed it more than anything. After a long time when he let her go, he said with a satisfied smile on his face, "Honey, you have good hands I'd better take you home tonight so you can give me some Thai massage."

"You are shameless!"

"If you don't like Thai, French then?"

"Go away."

"All right, then how about we do something else on the bed?" Oliver said playfully wiggling his eyebrows and there was a charming smile hanging on the corner of his lips.

"How about you do that by yourself? I am not coming home with you." Ava said smiling.

"Why, are you not satisfied with my performance on the bed? If not then I need to redo it." Oliver said pretending to be thoughtful.

"Sure, why don't you do it now?" Ava said joking.

"Are you that eager to see my beautiful body? Don't worry I'll show you when we get home."

Ava was so embarrassed that her face turned red. How is it every time she says something Oliver would turn her words and make her want to die in embarrassment? Ava lowered her head and pretended to look for something.

Oliver saw that he asked confused, "What are you looking for?"

"A rope. I want to hang myself."

Oliver laughed out loud seeing her red face and held her tightly then said. "Never!"
