The most handsome man in the city was standing there with a charming smile on his face and a bunch of flowers in his hand so it's bound to attract the attention of the people. All the women around were looking at Oliver's deep eyes and delicate facial features with dreamy eyes. The doctor walking ahead of Ava automatically made way for Oliver to come to her. Everyone knew Ava was Oliver's girlfriend so the females around were looking at Ava with envious eyes.
Seeing Oliver holding a bunch of lilies in his hand, Ava was a bit confused. Didn't he sent roses in the afternoon, why was he bringing flowers to her again? Did he buy some kind of flower shop recently?
Oliver walked forward at a steady pace ignoring the people around him. His eyes could only see Ava at that moment. She was staring at him with a confused expression which made him laugh and seeing that laugh a lot of female doctors forgot to breathe. Usually, women get this kind of reaction from men but here the case was completely opposite, after all, he was Oliver Knight, the most handsome and eligible bachelor in the city.
Oliver reached Ava and stood very close to her then he tucked the few strands of loose hair behind her ear and handed the Lilies to Ava. His eyes were full of love.
Ava blinked and took the flowers from Oliver's hand. Her face turned red as she looked around but her heart felt warm because of the sweet gesture. She lowered her head and saw there were ninety-nine flowers, she sniffed and the sweet smell filled her nose.
"Let's go home," Oliver said in a low voice and held her waist. Then they walked into the elevator leaving the envious eyes behind. No one dared to get into the elevator with them.
"Oliver, why do you always bring flowers for me?" Ava said as they entered the elevator. She was looking at the beautiful lilies on her hand and eyes full of smiles.
"Always? What are you talking about? Besides, I heard women like flowers, don't you like them?" Oliver asked confused.
Ava was a bit stunned. Only then she realized Oliver didn't send the roses this afternoon, then who send those flowers to her? However, she smiled at Oliver and said softly, "I do but why to waste money like that."
Oliver's eyes were warm. He suddenly raised Ava's chin with his hand and lowered his head, then without any warning he kissed her. His tongue invaded her mouth savoring it greedily. Ava also returned the kiss with the same passion. The more time she spent with Oliver, the more she felt like their coordination was getting better and better, this was a perfect kiss.
Oliver's car rushed out of the hospital as the starlight sprinkled on the two people. The city was bright with neon light everywhere. Oliver slowly stepped on the brakes as the traffic light turned red and looked at Ava then asked, "Are you hungry?"
"A little," Ava said softly then felt that she was actually very hungry.
"What would you like to eat?" Oliver asked with a smile.
Ava looked around and saw a KFC in front of her. She pointed her finger at the shop and said with a smile, "KFC."
"Junk food again, woman, you eat too much of this food." Oliver shook his head unhappily, but still drove toward the KFC.
Ava smiled and her eyes lit up. Oliver parked the car then got out and opened the door for Ava. They entered the KFC hand in hand. The shop was very busy at that time and there were a lot of children in there. Just as Ava and Oliver entered, a little boy ran backward and almost bumped into Ava. Oliver quickly pulled Ava toward him and avoided the accident. He looked at the little boy a little annoyed and thought how could a child run around in a place like that? How irresponsible his parents are to let him do that?
However Ava had an opposite reaction than Oliver did, she liked children very much. So she crouched down and asked the boy with a soft smile, "Are you alright, little guy?"
The little boy looked up and saw Oliver's cold and annoyed face, he was a little scared. He shivered and said, "I... I'm fine. Thank you, beautiful sister."
"OK. Where are your parents?" Ava asked with concern and looked around as she caressed his cheek gently.
Oliver stared at Ava coldly, what the hell is she doing? That's a stranger's baby, what if his parents take it offendedly.
The little boy pointed his small finger to a woman who was standing in the queue and said, "That's my mother."
"Little guy, you should not run around like this, go to your mom quickly. Your mother will be worried if she couldn't find you." Ava smiled softly and patted the boy's head.
"Beautiful sister, the uncle next to you is really scary. I am afraid of him" The little boy's face was full of fear as he looked at Oliver once again.
Uncle? Oliver stared at the little boy speechless. Does he look that old? Then he said to him coldly, "Why are you calling her sister me, uncle? Why didn't you call me brother?" Oliver's tone was somewhat annoyed and somewhat angry.
The little boy got even more frightened and he hid behind Ava.
Ava laughed and hugged the little boy then she said, "little guy, don't be afraid. He is not as scary as you think, in fact, he is a nice guy, you see."
However, the little boy still did not dare to look at Oliver. Ava was laughing so happily, she seemed to completely forget that when she met Oliver, she was also very afraid of him.
