Married

Oliver and Ava sat down at the dining table, Ava felt very relaxed and she was enjoying the food. Oliver looked at her and seeing her eating so happily a smile showed up on his face.

"Eat slowly, there is no rush. After breakfast, I'll take you somewhere." Oliver said with a smile.

"Where?" Ava looked at him and asked curiously.

"You'll find out," Oliver said mysteriously.

Ava knew if he had to say it, he would have said it already. So she decided to wait and see where he was taking her. She concentrated on her breakfast, the noodles Oliver made for her was delicious so she was savoring it.

After breakfast, Oliver drove Ava to the Civil Affairs Bureau. Ava was surprised when the car stopped in front of the Civil Affairs Bureau, she wondered why Oliver brought her here. They couldn't be possibly here to get married, right? She didn't even have her residence book with her. In fact, the book is still at her parent's. Then why they were here?

Ava looked at Oliver and asked awkwardly, "Oliver, why are we here?"

"Silly girl, what people do in the Civil Affairs Bureau? Of course, we are here to get married." Oliver laughed seeing Ava so confused.

"But I don't have my residence book with me," Ava said puzzled.

"It's OK. Come with me." Oliver smiled and said in a relaxed tone. He was Oliver Knight, if he wanted to get married he didn't need any residence book for that.

"What? Can we do it without the book?" Ava asked uncertainly.

"I can do anything as long as I want."

Oliver took her into a well-furnished office room, where a man in his late thirties, dressed in a suit was sitting behind the desk and reading something in front of him. He saw Oliver walked inside, he stood up and greeted him with a high spirit.

"Hello, Mr. Knight. Hello, Miss Green." The director of civil affairs said with a smile.

"Mr. Huo." Oliver smiled kindly and shook his hand.

"Mr. Knight, Miss Green, please have a seat. Everything is ready." Mr. Huo said warmly and waved to his assistant to bring some refreshments.

Afterward, Ava and Oliver signed their marriage certificates and took photos for the book. The director of the Civil Affairs Bureau stamped and sealed the certificates, then handed two copies to Ava and Oliver each with a smile.

"Mr. Knight, it's done. Congratulation!"

Ava stared at the certificate dumbfounded then took it with a trembling hand. It's done? She was married? To Oliver?

Oliver led Ava out of the office to his car but Ava was in a trance the whole time. She still couldn't believe that she was married to Oliver. When they reached the car Ava suddenly stood still and pulled Oliver's arm then asked, "Oliver, we are married?"

Oliver looked at her with a dotting smile and said, "Yes wife, we are married."

Ava could not hide her excitement anymore, she threw herself into Oliver's arms and start to cry. All happy tears. Oliver also hugged her tightly, as if he was holding a rare treasure. "Congratulation Mrs. Oliver Knight!" Oliver said gently stroking her head.

Ava laughed and cried at the same time and as she said, "Thank you, Mr. Knight." Ava touched her belly and at that moment, her heart was in peace. Oliver also covers her fingers and gently rubbed her stomach. Ava felt warm at the thought of their family of three. From now on, they will be a happy family.

Sitting in the car Ava called her parents and Ella to inform them about their marriage registration. Ella was so excited she started to scream over the phone, then she gave Ava an address saying they need to go there right away for their pre-wedding photo session. So Oliver turned the car and went directly to the given address.

Ava and Oliver entered the spacious space and saw a few photographers were busy taking pictures of a few couples. As Oliver was a well-known businessman, people there already knew him, so they instantly took Ava and Oliver to a more private studio for Photography. It was a huge studio, not only providing different backgrounds for the photography but also there was a separate wedding clothes closet, Makeup rooms with a few makeup artists, and a resting area with refreshments.

Ava and Oliver were taken to one of the closets to change their clothes and do Ava's make-up. After they were ready their photographer took them back to the studio to take pictures. Oliver and Ava were so natural that the photographer didn't have to use a lot of effort on them. Their every pose, every expression was natural and full of love, so the photographer kept clicking his camera and captured a lot of perfect moments of them.

By the time they were done, it was little after dinner time. Ava was so tired that she could barely stand there anymore. Oliver took her for a quick dinner and then they straightway went home. It was a busy and hectic day but on that day not only Oliver and Ava got married but also some of their beautiful masterpiece pictures were created.

Oliver already saw some of the pictures of Ava at the studio, he instantly got an idea of creating a photo exhibition room in the villa. As time will go on they could add more pictures to the room and when the little one will be born they could add his or her there too. It will be perfect.
