The real face

Oliver just arrived at the hotel. He went directly to the window, opened the curtains and looked outside, it was 4 pm in the afternoon and the sun was very warm. His room was on the 13th floor so he could see the Eiffel Tower from the window of his room. Looking at the view outside Oliver's mood became bright.

For some reason, he was always very fond of Paris. Since he took over the business he would always come here once a year. Paris was known as the most romantic city in the world and he wanted to spend some romantic time with Ava here. Maybe next year he will bring her with him.

"Hey Baby, what are you doing?" Oliver said in his deep voice on the phone.

"Getting ready for bed. What are you doing?" Ava said with a smile as she stroked her stomach as if she was caressing her child.

"I just checked in at the hotel. The weather outside is beautiful. I wish you were here." Oliver said with a sigh.

"Well, you can take me with you next time. I would love to see Paris with you." Ava said with a smile and her eyes lit up.

"Yes, I will. How is my princess doing? She is not troubling her mom too much, is she?" Oliver asked with a smile.

"Not at all. She is being very obedient."

"Good. Now go to bed and take a good rest. I'll be back in two days."

"OK. But don't work too hard, eat and sleep properly. Ok!"

The smile on Oliver's face got wider, " I will baby. Love you. Bye."

"Love you too. Bye."

After hanging up the phone Ava lay down on the bed. She felt a little guilty for not telling Oliver about her visit to the Parker's but she knew Oliver would never let her come in this condition. And now that she found out that Melody was alive and got to meet her here again, Ava thought even if he found out and got angry with her it would be worth it. Ava didn't know when she fell asleep. By the time Melody came out of her shower, she was in deep sleep.

Melody came out and saw Ava was already asleep. She stared at Ava with her chin slightly raised, there was a soft smile on her face. Suddenly the soft and innocent face changed and it looked vicious. She kept staring at Ava, she was too lazy to pretend to be friendly with her. She hated her from the core of her heart. What's so good about this Ava? Why everyone is so smitten by her? If she could she would choke her to death right now. Only at this moment, she could show her true face, tomorrow when the sun will rise again she will have to go back pretending to be a sweet and innocent girl and call those two strangers mom and dad. She was not their daughter she was Emily Luis.

Although she has to admit that Grace and Thomas were really very nice to her but she was here on a mission. As soon as she can take down Oliver and break Ava and Oliver apart, she can go away with Liam. She didn't care about anything else. Emily slowly approached the bed, her hateful eyes never left Ava even for a second. She lay down giving her back toward Ava and slowly fell asleep.

The eastern sky gradually started to glow in red and slowly the sun showed half of its face from the earth. The soft sunlight peeked through the clouds and fell to the ground.

Ava, Melody, and Daniel had breakfast together with Grace and Thomas and got ready to leave for the city in the early morning. On the way back to the city, Ava was in a good mood, thinking her trip was a success. Not only she met Thomas and Grace she also found her long-lost friend.

"Melody, you said you work in the city. Where do you work?"

"I work in Knight International."

"What? Knight international? Oliver's office?" Ava asked dumbfounded.

"Yes, do you know our CEO?" Melody asked pretending to be surprised.

Ava laughed and said "Yes. Actually, he is my husband."

Melody was drinking water, almost spouted out a mouthful. She pretended to hear it for the first time and asked with a surprised face. "Oliver Knight is your husband? Wow, you are so lucky."

"Which department are you in? I'll tell Oliver to take good care of you." Ava said with a smile.

Melody blinked her eyes and said, "I am in the investment banking department."

Daniel drove Melody to her apartment first.

Ava got out and hugged her again and said, " It's really good to see you again Melody. We'll have dinner together soon ok! I have a lot to catch up with you."

"Of course," Melody said with her sweet smile.

They said their goodbye and Daniel drove toward Ava and Oliver's Villa. However, he was a bit distracted the whole time.
