Ava was sitting in the living room looking out of the window. Mrs. Lee brought a bowl of chicken stew for Ava and gave it to her. Ava took it and slowly took a sip. Mrs. Lee has been very worried about Ava, since Ava came back from the hospital she has been trying her best to take care of Ava. She always cooked nutritious foods for Ava so she would recover quickly. At first, Ava refused to eat, but the more time has passed she started to become normal, now she eats and sleeps properly and her health also recovered a lot. The only problem was she never talk to anyone not even with Mrs. Lee. Before even Ava and Oliver had any fight, she would at least talk to Mrs. Lee but now she doesn't talk, doesn't laugh, she just sits somewhere silently. Mrs. Lee was worried because this lifestyle was not healthy at all.
"Ava, would you like to go on a vacation with me to Europe?" Oliver was beside Ava looking at a file he suddenly looked at Ava and said with a smile.
But as usual, Ava didn't reply. After the day in the park, Ava never said another word to Oliver. Oliver was very disappointed when she talked to him in the park, he thought she was getting back to normal but to his disappointment, after she came home she became silent again. No matter what Oliver said, she would never reply. Oliver felt sad, he would love to hear her voice, even if it was to argue or fight with him, but the only thing he could do was to bear with her silence.
Ava heard Oliver but she refused to talk to him, she kept staring outside for a while then got up from the sofa. Since she got discharged from the hospital Oliver has always been by her side. He doesn't even go to the office, he stays home and take care of her. If anything important comes into the office, his secretary would bring it at home and he would work in front of her never leaving her alone even for a second. Ava was irritated by that, she didn't want to see his face all the time but he would always wander around her.
Ava turned to go upstairs suddenly her eyes fell on the Piano. Ava's eyes dimmed looking at the piano, how excited she was for the competition. She even prepared a new piece of music to participate in the competition. In the end, she never got the chance to play it in Viena. Ava slowly walked toward the piano, the notes of Princess dream was still on the stand, Oliver's clear handwriting was vigorous in the note. Looking at it Ava felt pain and anger in her heart, she took out the note from the stand and without any hesitation tore it into pieces, and threw it on the floor.
Oliver saw the whole thing from the couch but didn't utter a single word. He was very frustrated because he couldn't protect the love of his life so no matter what Ava did, he never really blamed her. He only blamed himself for not understanding his own mind and not telling Ava the truth from the beginning. Now that the dust has settled on the ground, he could finally see his heart clearly. Therefore, he takes Ava's silence, her hatred, and her anger without any complaint as his punishment.
Oliver walked toward the piano, squatted down, and picked up the torn notes one by one, there was a heartache in his deep eyes. This song, they wrote together for their princess, how much happy they were back then, but now everything has changed and it's all his fault.
Ava could see Oliver's sadness clearly, but she didn't feel anything, her heart was too numb to feel anything. Oliver not only lied to her, he broke her trust and she can never forgive him for that. Ava turned and went upstairs with an indifferent face.
In the afternoon, Ava was standing by the window when she heard the doorbell, she didn't care though. A lot of people come and go these days and it has nothing to do with her, so she kept standing there looking outside.
"Ava!"
The familiar voice made Ava turn her head at once. She saw Daniel was standing behind her with a smile, holding a paper bag in his hand.
Ava, who had barely spoken a word in more than a month to anyone, finally opened her mouth and said in a soft tone, "Brother Daniel!"
Daniel looked at Ava, he felt heartache for her but he didn't show it, instead he smiled broadly and said, "look, what I brought for you."
"Let's talk in my room, sir," Ava said quietly and led the way. She didn't even look at Oliver.
Oliver looked at Ava intensely, he felt like a failure as a husband. His wife hasn't talked to him for more than a month but the moment she saw Daniel she not only talked to him but also took him to her room. He was very jealous of Daniel at that moment.
