The Game begins

In the CEO's office, Oliver was reading a file very attentively as if he was memorizing every piece of information in it. But that file had nothing to do with his business, instead, it was all the information about Ava Green. After reading it silently for ten minutes, Oliver found out everything he needed to know about Ava from childhood till now, her childhood friends, study, hobbies, boyfriend, her father's business everything was written on the pages in front of Oliver including all the honors she had won in Piano.

Ava has won many prestigious awards for playing piano. She was the last champion in the piano competition called "Piano Night" which was the most prestigious and famous piano competition in the world. Countless competitors from around the world come to participate in this competition. If Ava could stand out among so many people then anyone could imagine how talented she was. However, she suddenly disappeared after her completion, 6 years ago and no one in the music industry knew why such a talented girl would give up her career in music so suddenly.

However, Oliver knew! In fact, that was the reason he has been looking for her for years. If it wasn't for her playing that song last night, Oliver wouldn't be able to recognize her at all. He has heard that song countless times in the past, and it was engraved deep into his soul.

Oliver kept reading, so apparently, Ava applied to a medical school in the UK and got accepted. She left almost immediately after her graduation 6 years ago, that's why he couldn't find her. He has been looking for her in the country with only her first name. If only he knew her full name back then he would have found her sooner.

She seemed to be as talented as a medical student as she was as a pianist. With her hard work and determination, she completed the 4 years medical degree in just 3 and she continued her training as a cardio surgeon. Oliver wondered why she chose the field of cardiology instead of anything else, does it have anything to do with the scar on her chest?

After she completed her medical degree she joined a local hospital as a resident doctor in the UK. She was such a serious student and so determined to learn and save people that she was very well-liked among her peers. Her teachers and mentor would always praise her and encourage her to study difficult cases so she could learn more and perform complicated surgery by herself in the future. In fact, before she came back she did get a chance to perform one of the most complicated heart surgery in history by herself making her the youngest surgeon ever. Although a top few surgeons were present at the OT but her capability of instant decision-making while the patient was on a verge of death astonished all the doctors present there. Not to mention her quick decision did save the patient's life therefore many admired Ava and even though she didn't get to finish her residency in the UK she still got the chance to join as a full-time doctor here in the city hospital when she came back.

Oliver was very impressed by her achievements, seems like nothing can keep her from succeeding no matter what she does. However she didn't have much of a social life, she is a workaholic and spends most of her time at the hospital. She didn't have any close friends but did make some friends at the hospital. Overall she is known as a quiet but friendly person.

Oliver narrowed his eyes as he wondered If that's the case then why she was at the Blue last night? The way she is described in the papers she doesn't seem like a person who likes to party or drink with men then what was the reason that made her so desperate to go to the Blue and play piano for Thomas Miller? Looks like he will have to ask Uncle Joe to investigate that later.

Oliver read further, Ava didn't have any relationship at a young age however she has been dating a man called Jacob Adams who works at the Green Enterprise under her father James Green. Their relationship seems very good and there are also rumors that Jacob will marry her soon and take over the company in the future. James Green has been grooming him for that for years since Ava has no interest in taking over the business.

Except for the recent troubles which is a big blow for a small company like Green enterprise, their business seems to be running fine all these years. James Green is known as an honest businessman, a visionary, and a wise man and he build the Green enterprise with years of hard work. Her mother, Lilly Green is one of the acting directors of the company but these days she spends most of her time at home. However, she has been known as an ambitious, career-driven, and cold-hearted person. She could take any hard decision in cold blood, that is how the Green couple could get through any trouble in business previously. But after Jacob joined the company Lilly started to stay home most of the time leaving the business to men.

After reading everything about Ava and the important people around her one last time, Oliver put the file down. He was now 100% certain that Ava Green is the person he has been looking for.

Six years! He has been looking for her for the last six years! With a heartless smile on his lips, he looked at the horizon outside as he said in a low voice, "The game begins, Ava Green! Your good days are over and your destiny is about to change, be prepared!"
