"My Dear Autumn" is a story told through a series of letters from Rei to Aki. After moving abroad three years ago, Aki has lost touch with Rei. But on his 30th birthday, he receives a surprising parcel from him, filled with letters that compelled Aki to return to his hometown to reconnect with Rei.

"What Honey?  What do you mean,  and where are you?"


"I'm sorry honey *starts crying* I didn't know how to tell you"


"But why? I would eventually know right?  It's been 3 months already. Is that why you were gone that time?"


"Y.. yes...  I came home to check on him... but I was too late then"


"I'm asking WHY?!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!"


"Bec.. Because Honey... I still see you stressed about your ex-fian--"


"BUT REI WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO ME! He... he is the most important person to me"


"I'm sorry for shouting mom...  it's not your fault,  if only I talked to him.  I'll go talk... to you later..."


"It's okay now Olivia...  can you...  leave me for awhile with Rei"


"S.. sure,  Be sure to come to our house after. I'll be waiting for you"


What did I come here for again? Ahhh Yes,  Right.  I have to tell Rei about everything. Okay I gotta Smile and show him how happy I am to receive such a beautiful letter and that I'm happy about his confession. 


"Why didn't you tell me about it sooner. W.. we.. we could have had more memories you know. I c.. could have rejected my job offer abroad...  and we cou-- we could... have been together for these past 12 years... you know... and uhmmm.  uhhh"


"If you see my eyes as the color of autumn leaves...  they perfectly complement your beautiful dark brown eyes..  they were the color of earth where my eyes would always fall to. If you told me you loved me 12 years ago. There is no doubt I would have responded the same"


"I love you Rei. Will you... Will you... WHY!? REI!"


*cries in agony and kneels on the ground*


"HOW can I ask YOU!? To STAY with me till the END of our LIVES...  WHEN YOURS HAVE ENDED ALREADY!? WHYYY?!"


*Bawls his eyes out and curls up beside Rei's Thombstone*


"Is this what you meant in your letter?! IS THIS WHY YOU SENT ME THOSE LETTERS? I don't think I can accept this Rei... REEEIII!!! REEEIII!!! Please...  Please Come back to me!!!  Please Come Back to me... I would lose everything else BUT PLEASE c... Co.. come back to me..."
