Preperation for Tragons War

Clair POV:

I pushed the door to the working office of Kyli open and shouted "I'm back!"

Now inside the room I looked around and quickly spotted a lazy Drull on a couch, Kyli and the two representatives of Solo and Tragon around a new map table and Lilia and Ilza sitting in front of a table with cake on their plates.

"Miss Clair, good to see you," said the representative from Tragon.

"How was your trip?" Asked Ilza while putting a piece of good looking cake in her mouth.

"The weather was good, the city was just beautiful during the sunsetting, but the army of 300.000 hostile soldiers made it kinda sour," I answered and looked, with amusement, at the worried faces of both the representatives.

"How many survived?" Asked Drull, who didn't bother to sit up or even open his eyes.

"What do you mean survived?" Asked the representative from Solo.

"Isn't it more logical to ask how the skirmish worked out? And whose part are you asking about? Miss Clair I hope that Turonis is still standing and not in the hands of our enemies," he then said to all of us.

"Oh no no, Drull is right with his assumption that we won. Turonis is now part of Aeron and will get the same support as the rest of Aeron. And to answer Drull's question, around 150.000 +- 20.000 survived. I didn't want to look cruel and let them flee. However, there aren't any prisoners," I said and Drull muttered something about the missed opportunity to instil fear in my opponents.

Fear is not something I want to accomplish, I want to give them a hit in the face, but not something strong enough to rethink their current war activities. I still want to fight a few large scale battles. And I need to fight the heroes, they seem interesting enough. I even have a funny plan against them.

"And the losses on our side?" Asked Kyli, already thinking about the people in Turonis as a citizen of Aeron.

"None, we even gained a few new citizen. They used slaves for trap detection and I freed them. They'll reach the border in a few weeks. A few thousand," I said and Kyli nodded. She will arrange the papers for their nationalisation.

"Wait a moment, I remember to have heard that it isn't possible for the guards of the Great Wall to move outside of the Dragon Forest. How do you plan to protect them in the same way as the rest of Aeron?" Asked the representative of Aeron. I really need to learn his name, but he's just so unimportant for me.

"That was a lie. We're able to use them whenever and wherever we want. It only made it more believable and in a sense less annoying to simply say they can't," Kyli said with a grin and the jaw of both representatives dropped.

"It feels good to be on this side of the jaw-drop," Kyli said and then turned to me.

"How were your soldiers? Anything noteworthy?"

"Not really, they were average in terms of fighting power, but their unyielding stamina brought a turn in the battle at the later half. That in combination with the uniform appearance of our soldiers made them a strong weapon against moral during the middle and late halve of a fight.

The strength of each golem is comparable with the standard soldier of Raska. They do have a weakness, however, I won't tell you outside a four eyes talk," I said and looked at the representatives who were eagerly listening in on our conversation.

"Good then let us put that back for a later time," Kyli said.

"What were you doing, while I was gone?" I then asked and looked over the map. It was a detailed map of the human countries and Aeron. It must've been drawn by one of my clones, only I know how the world looks like from a top view.

"We got reports about an army at the border of Tragon, they are currently in a small siege against a border fortress. Nothing too serious, the border will hold against such a force. We speculated that they wanted to see our reaction to Turonis. They may have hoped to catch or kill you with this way over the top army. Now that you've shown what we have they will most likely organise their troops and then move according to new tactics. Maybe a few smaller attacks at Turonis to see more about our golems and a countermeasure," Kyli said.

"We estimate them to cease almost all activity for at least a month," the envoy from Tragon added.

"Okay, then do you want me to help with the fortress?" I asked but the envoy shook his head in denial.

"No, we can manage alone and don't want you to run errands like that." He then said.

"Okay then, I'm going to send some of my "friends" to search for new magic spells and interesting things. You'll find me in my mansion or at Maltur's restaurant," I then said and shortly after left the mansion.

I think I should send a few more of my clones to random worlds. I already know that I also get the knowledge when they dispel in a different world. This time I'll send a lot more than three. Oh, by the way, the other two came back with two of the best cultivation methods their world had to offer.

One of them had to beat the shit out of a dragon to get his. The dragon was fairly strong even, they destroyed a few continents during their fight. Its name was T'ao T'ieh. They had to fight in the stratosphere and some of their attacks fell back to the earth, where they destroyed a few thousand square kilometre. At the end the clone won by throwing the dragon into the sun. The dragon survived the throw but was so weakened after that that he surrendered.

T'ao T'ieh then asked my clone what she wants and she said that she needs the best cultivation method he has. He then proposed to give her a manual called "Body of a Millennia Dragon" a training manual for a body that rivals his own. It's not a real cultivation manual for Qi and more a manual for the body itself. He said he doesn't have a Qi manual as he doesn't need one. Monster, like dragons, learn everything naturally.

My clone thanked him and said that it first wanted to get a manual before she brings her master, so she flew back to the planet, but it was so devastated that she wasn't able to find a good cultivation manual. It then called me and I got the same imprint as with the other cultivation manual. But I'm not able to learn the "Body of a Millennia Dragon". It still needs the Qi of the body to get stronger.

It's something like a refinement of the body through Qi. The more Qi you use the better. Without Qi no refinement.

Anyway, the second clone got a Qi cultivation manual, it simply walked inside the best sect of its world and grabbed it before it left through the main entrance. The previous owner didn't like that, but he and his sect quickly stopped after a few broken bones.

Sadly the method was worse than the one I already have, so I simply memorized it for a future use. Its name is "Holy Cultivation of Five Thousand Arts". The name is too long and there isn't even an art described in it. It's plain Qi cultivation.

Well then, the order will be; Search for anything interesting that might make us stronger. Be it Qi, mana or normal technology. As well as search for training manuals and instruction manuals in any possible way. Be it physics-, mana- or Qi-related simply anything.

You can never learn enough and I'm far from being satisfied with my current strength and knowledge. My current training is paying off, but a spell that increases my overall gravity but not the gravity around me would really help. I know there is one it's just somewhere out there, waiting for my clones to take it.

I sent them off and then went to Maltur for some chicken.

POV: Summoned Hero Aaron , Two weeks after the battle of Turonis

This new world is kinda cool, even if I'm not able to play in it with my best friend. We both kinda wished for this to happen. I and the other 29 even got high affinity for magic. Even if no one knows what one of my affinities is. Well no one except for me. I mean come on, purple can only mean void, lighting or darkness. Lightning is a mix between wind and fire, while darkness is black. This only left void. The moment I attempted to use mana and increase the gravity around me it worked.

I'm currently able to increase the gravity in an area of twenty square metre enough to squish a tree into a bunch of splinters.

I'm training my void spells in secret, it's never good to let everyone know what you can.

My other affinities are wind and fire. Which allows me to make lightning spells. Lightning is one off my favourite powers. Electricity is power, you can do everything if you're good enough in controlling it. You can increase your memorisation ability, reflexes, muscle strength, control your enemies or even reanimate the dead. The body moves through electricity, everything activates or deactivates through them it's only a matter of time until I'm able to fine tune it.

I hope I will sometime even be able to use it for movement. I mean I would be as fast as light and invulnerable to physical attacks.

Still it sucks that Steffen wasn't able to come with me. He died a few weeks ago. A stroke killed him while sleeping. Good thing this summoning happened. I would have killed myself otherwise, there is nothing left on earth that kept my interest. Well my mom might have been a reason, but I left her with enough money to life a good life. It wasn't like I lived with her.

We were summoned from all over the world and a guy who calls himself pope and a second guy in a black robe asked us for help against the evil god. The guy in black robes introduced himself as the god of magic and help all of us with our spells. None of us needs incantations like most magicians of this world need to.

"Hey Aaron, we got news about the siege of Turonis, the Fredrick wants to see us," a fellow summoned hero said as he runs past me.

Fredrick, the former only hero of this world. He mainly fought against the demons at the border of this country called Raska. He's way stronger than all of us individually, well I think he would still lose against me if I combine gravity and my lightning spells. But I don't want to risk it.

I just need an opportunity to defect, I mean a war against the unholy beasts? And the demon god? Oh the demon god is even called Clair. I mean really? Clair? Which freaking demon god calls herself Clair? Bartimäus yes, but Clair?

That's the reason for our summon, fighting the demon country Aeron and with it the unholy beasts and the end boss Clair... the demon god.

Most of my co-heroes are dump enough to believe this pope. There is more to this, I know it. I'm just not able to see what, yet.

I tried to look for books about this demon god, but there were none. There were also no books inside the palace library about unholy beasts. The only thing that comes near unholy beasts are the normal monster who are categorised in five Tiers. But those aren't intelligent enough to create a country.

I asked a few soldiers about these unholy beasts and they said that they look like ugly humans with monster parts. Some may disguise themselves as humans with minor changes, I'm told that those are the most dangerous ones.

This strangely sounds like the common beastkin or in our world furry. We don't have those in our world, so I don't know how they are in this one. But they can't be too bad if Turonis decides to rebel for them. And the other two enemy countries, Solo and Tragon, both don't sound so bad either. Solo is some kind of republic, not a system that will work but it's still better than a religious rule like it is in Raska. Raska, where I'm currently trapped with the other heroes and a whole army of fanatics.

"Thanks for your attendance," said Fredrick as I walked into the meeting room. The others were already here. I think only 5 others think about fleeing like me. But I won't risk asking them. Only one of them has to talk and we all will be in trouble.

"Tommas might have told you why I want to speak to you. The battle over Turonis is over and the survivors came back," he said and murmurs grew loud.

"Yes, I said survivors, only half of the battle force came back. We lost 150.000 good soldiers to the wicked magic of the demon god Clair," he continued and some locked shocked.

Really? I mean if someone is called god, then he has to be strong enough against an army.

"But we have the necessary informations to fight her evil magic. She used golems as her power. She's not even brave enough to fight us with real people. Some speculate that none of her followers are courageous enough to fight against our brave soldiers, so she has to use these wicked golems. Still these golems won't be enough to stop us from freeing this world from her and her unholy beasts.

I know that some fellow humans strayed from the right path and are following her, but we must stay strong and free them or release them from their blindness. Even if it means to kill them, their souls will be cleaned by Siria, the holy goddess of light!" He shouted and the room erupted in cheers.

Dumb people, this is clearly propaganda.

"Now listen well, we know of five different common golem types. A cavalry golem on a horse, a bowman golem, a normal infantry golem, heavy infantry golem and a mage golem. All of them have the form of a human, except for the heavy infantry, those look like dwarfs. They all look the same and have the strength of a common soldier. So we won't have a problem fighting them. However, there is a sixth golem type, a special golem that is stronger than the rest. They are as fast as an S-Rank adventurer and have the same strength. I know all of you are stronger than the common SS-Rank adventurer, but these golems can be a problem even for you. You are still not too good with a weapon and these golems can be dangerous if they attack in groups.

We have tried to use magic inhibitors against these golems, but not one element worked. We don't know how they manage to overcome our magic but it won't matter in the long run. They won't stand a chance against our combined power," he finished and the group cheered again.

He then continued with fighting tactics. We're mostly in the back, as most of us are magicians. So no front line fighting and those who are good enough to fight at the front will stay with us and protect us from any nearing enemy. A good strategy, as long as only a few enemies manage to break through.

"I want you to get ready, tomorrow we will move out and join forces with troops from Kirk. Together we will attack Tragon and free it from unholy beast worshippers. We will then have a foothold for further campaigns against Aeron. But before we can attack the hearth of evil we have to free Solo. This way we will be able to attack Aeron from three positions at the same time, without the fear of an attack from the back. So get ready and sleep early. The following weeks will be hard for all of us, but I'm sure we will win," he said and ended the meeting with that.

Maybe I'm able to see how these people in Solo and Aeron are. If I'm right with my assumption and they aren't evil, then I'm going to defect. I mean it sounded like these golems are fairly strong and we don't know how many they have. The report said that there were enough to equal our forces. But there is no guarantee that these are all of their golems. Well we will see.

Two months after the battle over Turonis; Clair POV

Most of my clones are back and I have a freaking well of knowledge. I even got the spell for gravity. I'm currently working with enough gravity to put my strength back to 10.000 it feels really heavy but the increase in strength and agility are enormous.

The clones found better [Mana Manipulation] methods and they are now in the process to be integrated into our schools. They also found many manuals for any possible technology and other none mana or Qi power based things. One even brought a freaking Gundam back.

And I found a Naruto world. Chakra is nothing else than Qi and it looks like natural energy for sage mode is mana. The clone speculates that that's a reason for the stonification from too much natural energy. So Qi in a mana system makes a giant mana explosion and mana in a Qi system turns someone into a statue. It might be possible for me to use Qi like Naruto did with natural energy.

Not by creating a system for the Qi, but by absorbing and using it as a cup, not a spring.

I tried to learn it, but all of my clones who attempted to draw Qi in them exploded in the same explosion as the last one. Is it because I have too much mana or is there something else?

Maybe they are absorbing too much Qi.

Too bad that I'm not learning any skills from my clones. I only gain experience through them.

I might have been able to do it with [QI Manipulation], but I don't want to risk it.

Well, other things that happened were the integration of Turonis and its surroundings into Aeron and the increasing willingness for war from our citizen.

We also now that the Allied Forces, official name, plan to attack Tragon. They even send their heroes. There are 30 of the normal weaker ones and the one old hero. None of them is a real problem and all of them seem only versed in magic. It'll be fun to play with them I didn't want to take the surprise and didn't spied on them. I mean who wants to know what your toys are able to do before you were able to play with them? Where is the fun in that?

Ilza, Lilia and Drull will laze around during this war. I think I will skip some parts of the journey. The cities weren't as interesting as I thought. I might do them at a later time, but they aren't interesting anymore.

"Master, Kyli asked for you," Drull said with a bow. He's still acting as my butler and even persists in coming with me to the future battlefields. I'm sure he only wants to kill some humans. Well who am I to not full fill the wishes of my own personal archdemon butler? I would've been a bad goddess of help, caring and freedom wouldn't I?

"Good Drull, this most likely will be about the coming fights over Tragon, get ready for departure," I said and walked out of my mansion to visit Kyli. Drull is following me, all his personal things are in his dimensional pocket.

"Hi Kyli, you called?" I asked as I came in Kyli's working office. The envoy from Tragon is also in the room and he looks not so good, a little sleep deprived.

"Hi Clair, yes I did. Mister Pavlis from Tragon has requested for help," Kyli said.

"Yes, please help us Miss Clair, we won't survive the coming army," he said and bowed deeply.

"If I remember correctly then they sent a million soldiers, consisting of all kinds and their heroes. I only hope their army isn't as unbalanced as last time," I said and he looked at me with a questioning expression.

"I meant, yes we will help you. I'm on my way and will arrive at around the same time as the bulk of the enemy. Good thing that the heroes are a week behind their main force. This way I can deal with them separately," I said and he looked relieved.

"Thank you, Miss Clair, truly thank you. It's true what the people speak about you, you truly are a goddess that cares for her people," he said and bowed again.

"Don't mind it, see you Kyli," I said and turned around.

Outside I spoke to Drull with a wicked smile and said, "Drull, get ready. You might be able to fight in this war, but only the normal soldiers. The heroes are mine."

"Thanks, Master," Drull said and he also began to smile, just a little bit more evil. I mean I look like a beautiful young woman, it's hard to look evil with such beauty hehehe.
