Chapter 22

With her eyes turned to the ceiling as she lay on the bed, Naomi felt pain in her stomach, caused by the stress she had experienced during breakfast with Yin. For her, a conversation had never been something so exhausting.

"Ufa! Yin. You disgusting psychopath."Naomi said, sighing tiredly. "There has to be a way to escape from here."

The day had barely started, and she was already tired. She decided to close her eyes to rest, and in the same instant, her mind took her back to the moment of the conversation she had with Yin during breakfast.

That morning, while the waiter, arranging the meal on the coffee table, Yin was sitting comfortably on the sofa and said:

"My dear Naomi. I was very surprised when I heard that Tatsuo was someone. And even though he has a reputation of not helping anyone. But now I understand why." Said Yin while holding the coffee cup.

"What do you mean by this?" Said Naomi confusedly, sitting in an armchair around the coffee table.

"Hmm! Well, and that you look a lot like the late Tatsuo's fiancée. For this reason, I believe, he has decided to help you."

Naomi never really understood why Tatsuo had agreed to help her since he was already in possession of the flash drive with the stolen information. But what Yin was saying had some logic to it, but whether it was true or not, what did it matter, since Naomi was determined not to depend on Tatsuo for anything else.

"But don't worry about it. It's not because you look like Mina that I'm interested in you, Naomi. It's because you have a strong personality. " Said Yin with a fiery gaze fixed on Naomi. "I like to destroy the resistance that people like you have. Mina was boring in the beginning, she even seemed to be resistant, but when I kidnapped, her she immediately cried in terror and cried for help. But you, it was different. I haven't seen her cry once since I brought her here."

"Ahn! You make me sick. " Naomi said, holding back her anger.

"Haha! If you keep looking at me this way, my interest in you only increases." Said Yin with a sadistic smile on his lips. "But I am telling my true feelings to you, Naomi."

"We don't even know each other. So what feelings would you have for me?" Naomi said in a stern tone of voice while staring at Yin.

"Do you even think that I wouldn't know anything about you? I did a complete background check on you." Said Yin, propping his back against the sofa's backrest and immediately ruffling his feathers. "I found it very amusing when I heard what you were doing in Tatsuo's mansion. And your escape through the window when no one was around and then scaling a wall. That must have been very exciting."

Naomi was even more annoyed at how it had been so simple for Yin to obtain her personal information and invade her private life without her even knowing.

"Tsc! I already understand that you know a lot about me. Only I don't know anything about you. "

"Hmm... Ask a question, then." Said Yin suddenly.

Naomi was taken aback by Yin being so frank she couldn't even think of a question. All she could think was that she didn't know what connection Tatsuo and Yin had. But it seemed to be very deep and full of resentment and bitterness. That made Naomi curious.

"From what I understand, you and Tatsuo seem to have known each other for a long time, don't you?" said Naomi with feigned disinterest.

"How surprising, you are curious about my past with Tatsuo. But yes, it was at Tatsuo's 20th birthday party that we met for the first time. My parents did some business with Tatsuo's family. Is this enough for you, or do you want to know more?"

"What relation did you and Mina have? said Naomi distractedly as she picked a grape from the tray in front of her.

"Hmm... How can I answer this question?" Said Yin thoughtfully. "It was love at first sight. She was delicate as a flower petal and full of energy."

That statement by Yin left Naomi surprised, so she questioned him:

"But she was engaged to Tatsuo?"

"And what was the problem? They weren't married, and that hadn't stopped me from lusting after her for myself." Said Yin brazenly.

Yin's answer was something Naomi had hoped to hear. But what she wanted to ask from the beginning could be as fatal as stepping on a land mine.

"And what happened between you, to be rivals with each other?"

Yin was strangely silent and his expression, which had been calm, turned stern, and his gaze turned evil as if the question had hit a sensitive spot in his memory. This frightened Naomi, the pressure that Yin's gaze produced on her was so great that it made her breathless. When suddenly he said in a somber tone of voice:

"Why... Tatsuo killed my parents and stole everything that was mine."

Taken by surprise, Naomi could not believe what Yin had said since Tatsuo did not seem like the kind of person who would do something for no reason. While she was lost in thought, she heard Yin's sickening laughter that said:

"Pff... Hahaha! Did you sincerely believe what I said!? Hahaha... You are sillier than I imagined. My dear, there is no particular reason for what I do." Said Yin, debauched. "Ah! Well, Tatsuo killed my parents. But I don't blame him since my family killed Tatsuo's parents and fiancée."

With a look of disbelief, Naomi realized that she was facing a terrible psychopath.

"I only wish to have everything that belongs to Tatsuo. For that reason, I tried to have Mina for myself, but she died. But you came along."

"I don't belong to Tatsuo." Naomi said abruptly.

"But you have Tatsuo's affection. So you have some value to him. It doesn't matter to me if it's big or small. I want it all." Said Yin as he got up and continued saying. "Hahaha! I have to go now. But enjoy the rest of your breakfast."

After that conversation, Naomi managed to get a little glimpse of how dangerous Yin could be. The pain in her stomach intensified as she remembered. And that brought Naomi back to the very present.

"I have to think of a way out of here." Said Naomi taking herself and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Well, I can create a distraction to escape after dinner. But I also need something I can use to defend myself during my escape."

He looked around for something that wasn't heavy and easy to transport. But among so many objects in the room, nothing fit the requirement.

"Ah! Damn it. There's nothing I can use."Said Naomi worriedly. "Hmm... If only I had managed to get one of the knives during breakfast. But Yin was all the time looking at me."

Taking a deep breath, Naomi calmed down, thought about how the distraction would be her acting at the moment would have to be very convincing. She thought if she screamed while pretending to be in pain after eating dinner would be great, as the guards would quickly come in to see what was going on. And she could take advantage of it and grab a knife that would come with the meal.

"I can use something heavy to knock out any incoming guards. He he he." Naomi chuckled as she came up with her plan. "It's a simple plan, but I'm confident it will work. Now I'm just going to wait for dinner."
