Chapter 13: When they met

Flashback

I took a trip to Italy to satisfy my curiosity. I know the mafia is here, but I just had to see the sights.

While I was lost in thought I didnt realize I was in a secluded area surrounded by trees. I stopped for a moment glancing at my surroundings. A few feet away was a medium sized pond that had the most beautiful clear water. I made my way over and sat down at the edge before taking off my shoes and letting my feet dive under.

"This is relaxing" I mumbled closing my eyes and my head tilted up towards the sky

It was quiet for a few minutes before I sensed someone approaching. I waited till they got close before making any drastic decisions.

~tap~

The person suddenly tapped me on the shoulder making my natural reflexes grab their arm and flipping them into the water.

SPLASH

"Oof"

I heard them say before finally noticing a small boy who was fucking adorable. I really wanted to pinch his cute little chubby cheeks, but I feel like I'll come off as a pervert.

"What'd you do that for!" He yelled when he submerged from the water. He tried to glare but all that came out was the most freaking adorable pouty face I have ever seen.

'Why the fuck is he so cute. I just want to snuggle him and pinch his cheeks all day. Wouldn that be considered assualt. I dont know....I mean it wouldn't....right?'.

Anyway he made his way out of the pond revealing his completely drenched self

"Pfft....hahahahaha" I couldn't keep it in anymore. His glare from that tiny body and adding on to him being drenched made him so freaking cute. He couldn't scare me one bit.

" what are you laughing at trash" The cute boy said while glaring at me. If looks could kill I'd be 10 feet under.

"Pft..its just..haha...your so cute" I said honestly while wiping a tear from my eye from laughing so much

He immediately blushed after that and asked a question hoping we could move on from this talk

"What are you doing here. This is private property" he said calmed down and revealed a smirk that made me want to fucking punch him

'Kids these days and their annoying faces' I thought blankly staring at him to hide my thoughts

"Oh..oops I didnt know well guess I'll just leave" I said standing up and turned to leave when he suddenly realized I was leaving and stopped me

"W-wait" He said grabbing my arm

I turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow

[A/N Alex, you're physically a kid too..so..just act like one*sigh*]

"What's your name. I'm Xanxus"

' well shit. I didn't think I'd ever meet him. This should be interesting' I thought while the edges of my mouth slowly turned into a lazy half smile

"Well arnt you cute. Why don't we play tag" I said turning childish surprising him and started to stutter trying to stop whatever I was gonna do

Before he said anything else I dragged him to an open field and tagged him before racing off

He seemed caught off guard before he turned serious and started chasing me determined to catch me

Xanxus thought that it'll be simple to catch her because he has trained since young but to his surprise she easily evaded his attempts. He realized she was more than what she seemed and immediately became serious and tried harder

Timeskip

"Huff..hu" Xanxus was panting hard trying to catch his breath. He had been chasing Alex all day just to land a hit on her. Their little tag game turned into a serious spar between them.

"Well that was fun but I need to head back now maybe I'll see you tomorrow" I said before leaving

"Wait" he yelled but was to late

"You never told me your name" he mumbled looking forward to tomorrow. Finally he had a friend and someone he could fight seriously with.

Timeskip

From then on Alex and Xanxus would meet up at the pond and then head straight into their sparring. Xanxus could never hit her once and he noticed she was only dodging and never broke a sweat while doing so. At the end of the day she would say bye before quickly leaving never giving him a chance to ask her name. He started calling her Cielo because of her beautiful blue eyes that reminded him of the sky.

He became more determined each day to at least land a hit but he never did. With this continuous routine Xanxus has improved greatly along with their bond. It has already been a month and it is time for Alex to return home.

On the final day Alex decided to be a little serious to make Xanxus's determination grow and help him become stronger in the future. She knows his strength will definitely clash with the plot but she too has grown a little close to him.

When they walked to their normal field they looked at each other and I started talking

"Xanxus, I have to leave today but I want to give you a small parting gift" I said becoming a little serious. Xanxus immediately noticed the change in my aura and a small smile broke out on his face

"Bring it TRASH" He yelled before dashing at me

Before he could even close the distance I appeared infront of him and hit his neck causing him to pass out.

I sighed feeling sad about my departure but I know We'll meet in the future when he comes to fight Tsuna.

I waited till he awoke and after 5min minutes he started slowly opening his eyes. When he finally realized what happened he bolted up and looked at me with wide yes before they slowly lowered . A hint of determined flashes through them leaving me mentally smirking knowing I had succeeded.

I stared at him for awhile before giving my goodbyes

"I'm Alex, nice too meet. I have to go but we'll meet again" I said mysteriously before speeding off at top speed which looked like I dissapeared to him

"W-wha" He stood still processing what happened

He slowly revealed a small genuine smile

"We'll definitely meet again" He said looking off towards where I left before turning around heading home

Present

"*snore*" Inside her home, Alex was sleeping very messily with her body being spread out into a star fish and one leg hanging off the bed

After a couple seconds she slowly wakes up feeling something off

She smirks realizing what it is

"Looks like he finally found me" I mumbled before falling back asleep dreaming of strawberry cheesecake

*with Xanxus*

"Hmph, wonder if I could beat her now" He smirked looking at the photo of Alex

"Cant wait for our friendly game of tag" he said before getting up and leaving to cause trouble for the trash of a tenth
