Attack
I've been unable to upload for the past couple days sorry guys. Also, I will say this: I will NEVER drop anything I have written (including my future novels if I decide to continue writing) so don't panic if I don't upload :P
This chapter is kind of meh.
IDK if I should just stick with Nick or call him Fury.

"Alex, we still have that fleet?" Steve asked
"Unfortunately, not. They left the solar system on a mission a couple days ago"
"oh"
"yea... but we do have 2 destroyers and 4 Autumn Class Cruisers"
"Good enough"
"Alex, we cant deploy half of them since they have only came back for repairs" Cortana spoke up "Also the rest is there to protect the shipyards. There have been a few pirate activity recently in our sector"
"Damn" Evan muttered "My boys are all abroad on a mission"
"My Spartans and the Pilots could take on the missions" I told him
"Good enough for now"
"We can also deploy some Jackals and Broadswords for support" Evan added
"If we can make our men land on the carriers, it should work"
"The air defense system is a bit problematic though" I sighed
"They will come out in this area" Fury pointed out on a map "The doors will open here"
"As far as we know, there should be 8 ships but if Hydra were to create more under your nose..."
"....." Everyone was silent
"Well then, lets get a move on shall we?" Steve broke the silence
I called my men, along with the Titans and their Pilots to get ready.
"Alex, me and Sam would infiltrate into the HQ. Natasha would be with Fury, and you, along with Evan would have your men take over the carriers"
"Alright"
We headed out on the winter prowler.
We arrived in the location 10 minutes later.
Opening the doors while still in cloaked, Sam and Steve jumped out with Maria Hills. Me and Evan jumped off when we were near the hidden hanger doors.
"Cortana, continue to fly Fury and Natasha into the location"
Natasha would infiltrate as the council woman and Fury would arrive a moment later.
"Got it, also they should have arrived by now" she replied
"Good luck" Me and Evan jumped down and activated our cloaking devices on our suits.
We arrived at the location and Several Spartans came out of cloak to inform us of their arrival
"Sir"
"When the doors open, find the time to jump down into the carriers and blow them up"
"Yes Sir"
They left and we waited.
It didn't take long before the doors opened "Go Go Go" I waved my hands and we all jumped onto the nearby carriers
'Damn, it would have been fine if there were only one or two more but we have another 8, making a total of 16' I thought to myself 'Either Fury is dumb or Hydra is just too good at hiding'
It was nice to have 300 Spartans ready, but we missed one of them and Steve had to take on that one alone.
Our planes could only help them so much and couldn't really provide any support with the amount of Antiaircraft turrets around. The only things they can do, is to take out enemy fighter jets for us.
BOOM BOOM BOOM
A couple jackals were blown out from the skies as they engaged in a dog fight with enemy fighters.
Pew Pew Pew
Ratatatata
Gunfire and plasma rounds were flying everywhere.
It took us some time to secure the deck but we managed to do so and fought our way into the carrier.
Titans were unable to enter so I had them and 3 Spartans camp the entrance. The Pilots did their thing and infiltrated the carrier, separating themselves from the group. Their missions was to secure the data room. They are to hack into the system and copy whatever files they can from the system before we rig the place to blow.
Prior to the mission, they were updated by Cortana to have a detailed blueprint of the carriers, all all vitals areas that are needed to blow in order to take it down. The group split up into different areas to set up bombs that are rigged to blow in 7 minutes.
I arrived at the bridge and threw a flashbang.
Bang Bang Bang
I moved in and shot everyone inside. Seeing that it was now cleared I moved on along the hallway after setting the bombs.
"Sir, we have and incoming missile"
'Sh*t' I thought to myself before relaying the message "All teams brace for impact"
BOOOOOM
Not long after I sent that message the hull of the carrier exploded causing the entire ship to shake.
"All teams, report"
"Sir, we lost 112 and 113 in the explosion"
All teams reported in and besides the team that was in the middle of planting bombs when the explosion went off in their sector, the rest was fine
"Take their bodies with us" I sighed
"Yes, Sir"
The armor would protect us from explosives but if it blows up at a close range, your internal organs would be heavily injured and it would kill you.
"All teams prepare to exit"
I relayed my last command before making my way up to the deck.
"Alright, I want everyone to jump off"
"Yes, Sir"
They ran to the edge of the carrier and jumped off. The titans would not be damaged with their shock absorbing armor on their legs that would reduce the impact. The Pilot's jump kit allows them to delay their fall mid air and the Spartans were equipped with jetpacks.
It didn't take us long to reach the ground.
"Sir mission Complete" Several Spartan officers came to report.
Booom Booom Booom
15 massive explosions happened at the same time as the plasma bombs pulverized them.
"Sh*t, Cortana where is Cap" I quickly asked
"He fell into the river nearby"
"F***"
There was still one last helicarrier left. As I got ready to use my sword Cortana interrupted me.
"Alex, I have a gift for you"
"A gift?" I asked her in confusion
"Look up"
I saw a Halberd Class Destroyer coming out from the clouds.
"God, Cortana did you plan for this?"
"No, but seeing that you have left one carrier out of your calculations, I decided to risk sending one Destroyer for backup"
I watched the Destroyer rip through the Carrier with it's MAC cannon.
BOOOOM
Pieces of of it fell down on top of us.
"Well, damn" I muttered
Everyone popped down a shield grenade as the pieces of the carrier fell down on top of us.
Boooom Booom Boooom
Dust and water rose.
