Kamar-Taj

I teleported out the ministry and I was about to teleport my way back to the hotel but I was transported through a portal to another location.

"What the-" I fell into the portal under me and found myself surrounded by 50 people. I found Artemis by my side. "How-" I was confused as I set up a barrier to protect her.

"Alex" Artemis grabbed my arm, scared that she got kidnapped once again.

I patted her shoulder to show that it'll be fine.

I looked at the bald woman in front of me, who seemed to be their leader.

"Who are you?" I asked

"I am the Ancient One and I'm here because of you" The woman told us

"Why" I asked coldly

"You've been messing around with time" She stated

"Impossible, I've always stayed in the boundaries of time" I shook my head

"There are traces of time on your body, and you say you didn't mess with it?" She asked

I shook my head "I was also investigating that too"

She stared at me and I stared right back into her eyes. "Back off if you don't want your people to be harmed" I stated

"You know we cannot do that, until you hand them over" She shook her head

"I do not know who did it, all I know was it was someone from the wizarding world" I told her

"Then you must come with us"

"Unfortunately, I will not."

When I said that the 50 people, who surrounded us, bound me with ropes. I quickly used my qi to block them and attacked back. Blowing them away.

"You cannot stop me" I told her

She didn't say anything and did something that caused time to reverse.

"The time stone" I looked at her in surprise "You're the sorcerers from Tamar-Taj"

She looked at me in surprise "You know of us?"

"Of course I do, now will you just have them stand down? I will not be as merciful as last time" I looked at them

"Come with us then" She stated

Just when I was about to decline, Artemis pinched me and shook her head.

"Fine" I sighed

A second later we were transported into a massive library.

I raised my brows and asked "A library?"

"Also our home" The Ancient One stated

"What do you want?" I asked

She looked at me and Artemis. "Strange, I cannot see your future" She mumbled

"Of course you can't" I rolled my eyes

She ignored me and looked at Artemis instead.

Frowning, I protected her from her eyes. "Do not attempt to look into her future" I warned

Looking away, the Ancient one said "You have disrupted the original fate of this world"

"And?" I asked

"I just want to know if you are a treat to this world or not"

"Whether or not I'm a threat, doesn't matter. All you need to know is to prepare yourself for the next few years" I looked into her eyes

A while later, we were transported back to the hotel.

"How are you feeling?" I asked Artemis

"I-I'm fine" She said palely

Looking at her, I noticed that she was pale and sweating. "What's wrong?" I panicked

"I'm-" She fainted

"Artemis!" I carried her onto the bed

Feeling her weak pulse "Damn it" I became worried. I took out several pills to feed her. Doing my best to help her, I placed my hands on her back and transferred some of my qi into her.

After transferring my qi into her she seemed to be better but was in pain. I sent my spiritual sense into her body to check. 'Hang in there Artemis' I thought to myself.

"What the f***" I cursed out loud. I found the problem quickly. There was a giant vortex in her Nascent soul. 'God Damn it' I thought to myself and spent the next hour transferring qi into her.

Ding.

I heard something unlocking and I quickly sent my spiritual sense to investigate. "Dear Mother of God" I took in a deep breath.

I saw Artemis in her soul form curled up and there were traces of spatial energy in her soul. Although I managed to fix the problem, she won't be able to wake up. Spatial energies have been formed in her soul and dantian.

I gritted my teeth and placed my finger on my forehead, drawing a drop of golden blood. I winced in extreme pain. Slowly, I gently placed it close to her mouth and had her swallow it. A connection formed between the two of our souls when it was absorbed. Our fates and souls are now connected.

Rummble.

Thunder flashed across the skies above. My face changed as I felt Artemis's powers increasing. 'I underestimated the effects of that drop of blood' I thought to myself grimly. Taking out my sword, I protected Artemis from the tribulation she was facing.

Thunder crashed down one after another. After absorbing that drop of blood, Artemis skipped a couple realms and directly reached Early Immortal Stage from Nascent Soul stage. While my realm dropped from True Immortal to Golden Immortal Late stage. There is one more stage between Golden Immortal and Immortal Emperor, and that is True Immortals. True Immortals are a bottleneck between the two realms. It depends on comprehension of the dao to reach Immortal Emperor Stage.

Lightning came down as I protected Artemis who was unconscious. Blood seeped through my lips as I was hit by several bolts. There was one that slipped past me and hit Artemis instead.

ROOARRRR

I roared in anger and the lightning seemed to ignore me and instead flew towards Artemis. Unable to block some of them in time, they managed to injure her and cause blood to flow from her mouth. I threw myself at her and blocked the blows from the tribulation lightning as it purified her body.

ARRGGHH

Tribulation lightning continued to come down as screamed in pain until it ended. When it ended I fell into a deep slumber.
