Guards

I made my way downstairs only to find that half the regular security guards have been killed. There were also higher level guards coming down from the floors above. Regular guards only guard places like the parking lot, the 1st-3rd floor, and entrances. They were employed from regular policemen and nontrained civilians. The next level of guards, gray level guards, guard the 3rd to 11th floor, they hired from retired veterans. Red level guards are those in special forces, they would be protecting the rest of the company. Finally are those from the blue and white level. Blue level guards would guard the most important places and the last couple floors, and they were picked out from those that were trained by us. The white level guards are ranged from assassins to spies that would be spread around the company into every office, they would be in charge of watching over them to pick out those who are spies. There are also white level guards who would be on full alert and completely equipped with the latest weapons and armor, they would protect the data room to prevent any leakages of confidential information.

From gray to white level, they are allowed to chose their own weapons. Regular guards would have tasers, batons and sometimes pistols, while gray level would be allowed to carry pistols on them everywhere. Red levels are allowed to carry rifles and Blue and White levels are given more advanced weaponry and technology.

We managed to stop them in the hallways and we set up a barricade to prevent them from entering.

"What is going on?" I came out of the elevator and asked

"Sir, a group of terrorists came and tried to take over the building but we managed to stop them"

"How many losses" I asked

"Sir?"

"How many casualties did we take?" I asked again

"20 guards have been killed along with 15 employees when the first explosion went off. Another 25 guards have been killed during the firefight. 5 more have been killed in the second explosion. We have over 160 people injured" He listed out the list of casualties and injuries

My face darkened

Another explosion happened in the west hallway, blowing a hole through the wall and letting the terrorists in.

"Sir, we have a breach in the west" Another guard came over and informed.

By this point, half the red level guards have arrived downstairs and returned fire.

"Grenade!" I heard a man shout before another explosion went off

"Just f***ing great" I muttered

"Alex, local security forces have arrived outside but are having a hard time trying to defend themselves" Cortana notified

Booom

A police helicopter came crashing down into the city.

"Sir, we have several enemy helicopters circling around the building" A guard came and informed us

"Tell the boys to take out those in the air for us quickly before picking the ones on the ground from the windows" I told Cortana

I looked at a couple other guards before saying "Take the injured into the clinic for the medics to help them.

"How long until the local QRF arrive" I asked

"15 minutes at the very least" Cortana replied

"Call for support from our nearest base" I told her without hesitation

"Got it, we have 20 CDSTs on standby" She replied

"Call all of them over"

"They will arrive in 5 minutes"

"Tell them to be faster"

Bang

A bullet came flying by and I shot back from around the corner.

"RPG" A guard yelled and we ducked

BOOM

An explosion blew a couple guys down to the floor

"F***" I cursed.

They have RPGs, C4, grenades, and fully automatic weapons in their arsenal, along with several armed helicopters. 'How the f*** did the government not find out about this' I cursed inwardly

Several hours ago, I was notified of an armed group entering America. At that time I didn't care since they arrived two to three states away from us and so I forwarded the info to Evan. Apparently I was wrong. Their target was us.

It didn't take long before a couple Falcon A-1s came and deployed our guys behind them. The Falcons were a quick deployment and extraction vehicle from one area to another. They had a twin jet engine and a nose mounted 25mm autocannon. The A-1s are equipped with 2 machineguns and had gunners operating it, while the B-2s does not have gunners. Both carries a maximum of 10 passengers, including the gunners, and a pilot. After making several dozens of these and distributed them to the many bases we have secretly created in the past, we started to create LAATs for troop deployment in space.

After the arrival of the CDSTs, we managed to completely finish off the terrorists within 10 minutes.

"Sir, we have successfully defended the building" A guard informed me

"Cortana, tell me. How many casualties did we take?" I looked at the mess in front of me

"2 CDSTs have been killed by grenades and RPG. 18 Regular Level guards, 12 White Level Guards, 11 Gray Level Guards, 8 Red Level guards, and 4 Blue Level Guards have been killed. 24 Employees have been killed in the beginning and another 12 died from their injuries" She reported

"How did so many White level Guards die?" I asked

"They died during the initial attack and died later on when their helicopters pierced through the windows of the building"

"F***" I clenched my teeth. I wanted to help them but there are way too many people and I cant use my strength unless I want to destroy the building or accidentally kill someone. I couldn't find myself a good opponent recently, so my strength was a bit unstable. 'I will have to inform their families later' I sighed inwardly

"Evan and the Avengers have arrived" Cortana notified

Pushing the thought behind my head, I walked outside and met up with Evan, Wanda, Tony and the others who had only just gotten here.
