He unbuttoned the first few shirt buttons ,took off his coat ,with no car,he walked into the dark ,silent coldnight.

"What do you want?"he asked
"A bus to hell".

A BUS TO HELL

Juni Cartel spent the rest of his day working on a contract proposal which might sway the young female author even though he knew it was a 40% win situation for him. He also had confidence in himself ,the thing is, it only took Juni Cartel two days with a cup of coffee to sign anyone. So to him,  two weeks was more than enough


He was still working through some details but then he needed more information based on her needs so he could find a way around it to pitch it to her how he help her get the desired needs and results.


He took the home phone that was in his office and dialed his secretary. "get in here ,now with your notepad".  Juni instructed and within minutes, there stood Mark with his hair ruffled a bit waiting on his boss with both a pen and a notepad in hand as he asked "What do you need me to note down,boss?"


"Get me every little detail of Angela Mandela's daily day in and out life ,her needs,wants, favorite place etc"Juni said but had a confused look on his face as his secretary smiled and said "You should check your Gmail.Did all that already before you asked".


"Wow,this is really good ,you are learning, Beyonce"Juni said smiling as he scrolled through the file dropped into his Gmail containing all he needed.


Mark sighed ,whined and said "Do not call me that,you know?" as he walked out and closed the door behind him, leaving Juni to the rest.


"Oh wow,she plays tennis at the country club,"


Coffee or tea?,it would be nice to be given a real preference."Juni mused in his mind as his phone rang


He picked it up absentmindedly  and offered a casual "Hello".


"Wow, wait what? Now I'm just 'hello'" Carmen's voice boomed through the phone speaker


Juni smiled knowing she couldn't see him right now as he rubbed his forehead and said "Hey baby"


"Now , that's a proper greeting.wait,why do you sound tired so early,?"Carmen asked


"Nah babe,I'm not tired "Juni replied rather quickly for his wife.and added "so you called,why?"


"What ?! I can't call my husband again?…wow"Carmen said chuckling as Juni also joined in over the phone


"No,I don't mean-"Juni tried to say but was interuppted by Carmen


"Babe,I was just joking,I called because I wanted to remind you dad's birthday is on Sunday. Clear your schedule for that day"Carmen requested


"Ohhh"Juni said as he checked his table calender and there it was March 19 ticked as "Father in law's birthday" then continued "Oh,I didn't forget babe,not to worry,I will."


"Thanks baby, love you, gotta go."Carmen said


"Love you too"Juni replied as the line went dead.


Juni leaned back in his chair as he loosened his tie's knot a bit, looking at his watch as it reads 12:30pm.Well he better prepare for the meeting with the printing team.


He wondered if he could sign the young author before that day or so and if not, he prays nothing comes up.


If there was one thing that could kill Juni, It was missing his father in law's birthday.
