Episode 12

Donald is working on another case, this one is hard.

He is defending a Russian Cop who was just hired for the job a day ago that had to have some strings pulled by the revolutionists from the camp that got into power.

Donald says "Why do we have to have this court case?"๐Ÿ˜‘

The case a French man had swindled a Russian man & guess what? The French man sued the Russian for trying to get his money back, The Russian simply took the money out of the French Man's car.

๐Ÿค

Flashback...

๐Ÿ’˜

The French man named Arthur had tricked The Russian man named Jean into thinking he could get a pass to leave the community. All he ever wanted.

& All the Russian man named Jean had to pay was $78.

Welp, Jean paid.

The French man named Arthur refused to give Jean the non-existent pass to leave.

Arthur told him that "You have to pay me more money for the pass, then you can leave to safety with your 2 daughters, 6 sons & wonderful Russian wife. Get that better life in the town or America."๐Ÿ˜’

Jean says "The town will return me to the community, I need a passport, money, I also need some papers & a recommendation for a job in America."๐Ÿ˜–

Arthur says "It'll cost more to get safety like that. About... $20."๐Ÿ˜…

Jean had the $20.

Jean paid for it after getting it from his truck.

Jean was a Russian.

That meant that he either had a low-paying job, that he had to own his own business to earn money, or no job at all.

Jean says "I have to pay the rent, I have... A...

One-room house...

My sons have to sleep in tents outside, my daughters have to do the same...

My wife and I sleep in the house.

The only reason my kids sleep outside is that there isn't enough room.

At night, my wife may go outside & sleep with the kids to protect them while I stay up to keep watch over the kids.

When my wife gets up, I go to sleep & she watches.

When I wake up at night due to her waking me up so that she can sleep inside after making an early nightly breakfast before the sun rises, I watch over & sleep with the kids."๐Ÿ˜ข

Arthur felt no sympathy, he saw it as a chance to make some money from poor and desperate people.

Arthur says "Give me 50% of your paycheck."๐Ÿ˜

Jean says "I work as a slave for this black family down the street, I get paid $5 an hour for 6 hours a day. I'm just so lucky the well water is so cheap around here."๐Ÿ˜–

Jean could NOT afford that.

Jean made only $30 a day.

Jean got once daily & sometimes they held out, most of the time, he got about... $20. 2 days out of the week did he get what he should have gotten.

Jean says "You want about... $10 to $15? sometimes they pay me less than they should, I sometimes get $10 less. Just $10, that's lucky, some Russians never get paid."๐Ÿ˜

Jean wasn't happy about this. All he got a day was 20-30 dollars, now Arthur wants to take half when Jean doesn't even get paid what he earns?!

Jean yells "You have been taking my money for 5 days, no pass!

Always asking for more!

Give me the details I paid for!

I gave you my entire salary! $20!

I should be gettin' paid $30!

I- I paid you all that I earned today!

That's how I had the twenty, I had it because that's all I had!"๐Ÿคฌ

Arthur says "Fine, I'll write down the details today."

Jean says "Fine, thank you. I'll get you some paper."

Jean went inside of his oldest daughter, Tilly's tent.

As he did this, Arthur stole all the money Jean hid in his son Tack's tent.

Tack prided himself in protecting the money, but Tack was asleep.

Arthur drove off in Jean's truck, Arthur stole Jean's key by grabbing it off of the back of Jean's truck.

Jean came outside of Tilly's tent with paper to get the directions, but by the time he did, he saw Jean driving off in his truck with all of Jean's money.

An hour later, Tilly cries as her dad yells at Tack "How did he get the money?!"

Tack yells "I don't know, I was asleep!" Then Tack cried, feeling guilty for another man stealing his family's money because he felt like it was his fault the money got stolen because Tack was asleep.

Jean's wife comforted Tack & Tilly as Arthur ran out to find the money.

All Jean had for his family was $1,000.

Jean finally found Arthur's house after asking around, he snuck in & took his money back that Arthur had stolen from Jean.

Arthur caught him, so Jean ran off with a big bag of his money.

Jean got in his car because the keys were just dropped on the ground by Arthur once Arthur returned home.

Present Day...

Jean is telling Donald just outside the courtroom that "I... I took the money back for my family, now he wants to sue me for it?!"

Donald was disgusted, he heard the whole story...

Donald complains "Can't these people stop trying to profit off of other's desperation? He profited off of your oppression. He was using your fear of death by racism in this community to get you to bring him more money!" So furious, his breath was heaving, heavy breaths taking place in his mind & body.

Jean has OCD, Jean taps the floor 50 times to keep his family from dying because a thought pops in his head outside of his control, it told him if he did not do this, his whole family would die.

The problem is... The thought isn't true. Him tapping his foot 50 times won't save his family, nor will it harm his family if he doesn't do it.

Jean says "I'm crazy, you know that?" Jean suspects he may be mentally ill, whenever he thinks back on his past issues with OCD & the rituals, he sees them all as ridiculous.

Jean isn't allowed mental health unless he's a danger to others. OCD often has to do with keeping others safe, most of the time, people with OCD try to save others by doing the rituals.

Due to people not talking to Jean about mental health & the lack of therapy for him to keep the Russians "In their place," he was unable to find mental health treatment.

Jean thought of himself as crazy because he had no idea why these thoughts popped into his head, & the fact that he listens to them makes him feel like he's not mentally stable.

Let's say that.

Jean doesn't talk about his mental illness.

Jean says "Okay, so... Um..."๐Ÿ˜ฉ

You wouldn't even notice, he doe sit more at home than in public, he would be doing it in front of you but his feet are hidden or all the rituals are taking place in his mind.

Jean says "I gotta go inside." Jean hopes his mental illness won't mess up the case.

Jean complains "Why does my mind mess me up?!"๐Ÿ˜ค OCD isn't always about being clean or organized, the intrusive thoughts may tell you to do things that aren't clean, may mess up your work instead of progress it, not massively...

Jean cries saying "I need that money! I really need it... I just wish that people would leave us alone!"๐Ÿ˜ญ

Jean's anxiety is getting to him, the intrusive thoughts are constant, never-ending.

Jean screams & then says "No, not here."

That was due to stress, he was worried his OCD would mess up the trial, he was worried it wouldn't go through with or without OCD.

Jean says "As a cop, will I be able to provide more for my family?"๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜–

Donald says "Yeah."๐Ÿ˜ข

Jean complains "They... When You're a Russian, they may not pay you as well."๐Ÿ˜–

Jean says "Let's go to court."

As Jean goes to walk into court, pushing the door open, Donald grabs him by the shoulder asking "Are you ready?"

Jean complains "Stop asking that, my mom says 'Oh, honey, you'll be fine, you don't need to turn the light off 6 times,' And My wife thinks I'm crazy because I have to stick the stick in the pond water 7 times as ridiculous as that sounds, I know why you asked."๐Ÿ˜ค

Donald was in shock, then says "No, you just seemed upset..."๐Ÿ˜ง

Jean pauses, he was so embarrassed.

Jean says "Okay, I'm sorry."๐Ÿ˜ž

Jean goes inside the courtroom saying "Dang it, Jean."๐Ÿ˜’

Jean taps the defense table 12 times to make himself win the case, unfortunately, that wasn't what would cause him to win like he thought it'd be. It was all due to his OCD that he even tried to win in such away.

Jean has no idea he even has OCD.

Due to the denial of mental health care, he was rejected when he asked for help because he wasn't deadly.

Rejecting a deadly person just wasn't good for non-Russians or Russians alike when it came to mental health, so Mary, the leader of this community, would allow it for Russians.

Donald says "Patriotism or national pride is the feeling of love, devotion, and sense of attachment to a homeland or the country and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment to create a feeling of oneness among the people."๐Ÿคฌ

Donald states at Arthur, the man in the prosecuting chair.

Donald thought "Like he deserves to be in that chair."๐Ÿ˜ก

Donald said those exact words to the judge, then said "He stole --"๐Ÿคฌ

Then he points at Jean, saying "...That man's money, a man so poor before he got his new job as an officer of the law that paying Arthur $20 was paying him Jean's whole paycheck!"๐Ÿ˜ก

Donald yells "Arthur swindled him of his money."๐Ÿ˜ก

Donald had together evidence, he got all the paperwork.

The paper agreements, the written documents of payment, etc.

Donald says "Witnesses saw Arthur leave with the truck that Jean owns, Judge Patters, three witnesses!"๐Ÿ˜

Three black witnesses that saw him drive off other than Jean.

2 women, 1 man.

Donald asks "Is it patriotism if we lie & steal from each other? What kind of love is it to do that?!"๐Ÿ˜ก

The female black Judge Patters Says "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing."๐Ÿ˜‚

Donald brings out the paper agreements & written documents of payments...

Judge Patters reads them & says "You tried to escape the community? How? Jean, you must be an idiot."๐Ÿฅฑ

Donald reads the contract:

"As Arthur,...

A freedom revolutionist!

I will give you my services immediately after payment.

I will do as told.

You will listen to my every statement.

I am no fraud, I assure you.

I will never withhold needed information.

I will never lie to you.

I will do my best to free you.

I will never rob you.

I would never steal from you.

Sign here: Jean."

Jean felt that he needed to get out of the community so much that he listened to Arthur & trusted Arthur.

Jean reads the transcripts of the conversations that Jean had with Arthur.

Jean wrote those transcripts.

Jean says "I needed help, your honor. I really held out hope I could leave."๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Jean never lived in the camps with his family, he's been in this community since birth up until today.

Some Russians never lived in those camps.

This was why the camp leaders tried to change the community, for future Russians who wanted to move there & for those who never made it out.

Judge Patters listens & reads, then says "Is this true, Arthur?"๐Ÿ˜’ Judge Patters didn't care much for Russians or this case since a Russian was the victim, but she'd do as the law required of her. Judge Patters did not care much for this case at all.

Arthur lies saying "No!"๐Ÿ˜จ

Judge Patters says "It doesn't make sense that you would tell him this, go through with it, yet, he still sues."๐Ÿ˜•

Arthur lies that "He lied to me, he told me that he would pay me! He didn't! he stole all the money!"๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Judge Patters replies "IF he never paid you, what he stole wouldn't have existed."๐Ÿ˜ก

Judge Patters giggled, then laughs about the whole lie itself.

Judge Patters lies saying "You must be a good man to help this boy out?" Then laughs at her own lies.

Arthur says "Of course!"๐Ÿค—

Donald says "It seems to me that his lies are very inconsistent with his claims & his client's claims & the transcripts. Most of them even show that Jean paid money. Jean took photos of himself giving the money to Arthur."๐Ÿ™‚

Jean did this to prove he paid him in the case of fraud. God told Jean to do this.

Jean had thought that it was just a precaution, Jean didn't want to believe it was fraud out of hope & desperation.

Jean didn't get what he wanted, it didn't work out so well for Jean.

Jean provided the photos to Judge Patters who can see Arthur holding the money & smiling like he won $120.

Judge Patters sees 50 photos.

Judge Patters sarcastically says "Oh my gosh, you seem to be broke, Arthur!"๐Ÿฅฑ

The judge asks "Look at all this money, how did you ever acquire such a thing?" In laughter.

Judge Patters yells in anger, next.

What she says chills Arthur's spine.

Judge Patters says "I don't care about Russians, I don't even care if they die, but I do care if you lie to me!"๐Ÿ˜

The judge states "I like you, Arthur, but you lie so much & with a straight face. I hate it. As punishment, you must pay this man his money as the law requires so I can keep my job & you must live as a poor man with all your money given to Mary, our great lead'ress."๐Ÿฅฑ As she yawned at the end of that statement.

Patters hated Mary. Mary was rude & evil.

Judge Patters sent him to deliver the money to Mary himself saying "Guards will escort you to deliver Mary the money, you better give it to her, Mary is a cruel woman who likes to hurt people."๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Judge Patters grins an evil & sly grin to scare Arthur.

Arthur didn't know much of Mary, so he agreed, saying "I will."

Donald became concerned for Arthur.

Donald asks "Can't a guard deliver it?"๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Knowing how crazy Mary is.

Donald walks to Arthur & takes the money from Arthur that Jean was forced to bring with him to court & forced to give back to Arthur.

Donald returned Jean's money to Jean.

Donald says "Please, Mary-"๐Ÿ˜จ

Donald was going to say "Mary is insane!" But the judge cut him off with "That's final, Donald." Then laughs.

Judge Patters left the court as Arthur willingly went with the guards to meet a cruel & vicious woman he didn't even know was evil.

Jean yells "Wait, Arthur! You won't survive! Tell her your french, please!"

Donald asks the judge as she is about to leave "Patters! You must give him a paper stating his race or-"

Donald would have said to the judge "He'll die!" But Judge Patter cut him off before he would say it.

Patters states "Judge Patters, he'll be able to tell her himself." Then left the courtroom.

Arthur willingly got in the car with the guards to see Mary.

Arthur's emotions were more racked with the fact that he'll lose most or all of his money!

Once he made it to Mary, Mary accused him of being a Russian, yelling "You're a Russian! What on earth are you doing here, idiot? I don't remember you at all!"๐Ÿ˜ง In pure shock.

He yells "I'm French, madam!" In courtesy.

The guards confirm this, saying in sync that "He was sent here to return most of his money for swindling a Russian, he is to give you most of his belongings & money, ma'am."๐Ÿ™„

Mary had become a bit rusty in detecting Russians, she thought.

Mary says "I need to get more... Used to seeing Russians."๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Arthur says "I'll give you half of what I own."๐Ÿ˜ณ To Bargon with her.

Mary asks "Didn't the judge state to give me most of your money?" In offense.

Arthur says "Can we make a deal?"๐Ÿ˜ฅ

One of the guards that escorted him named Robol says "He conned a Russian out of his money, My Queen."๐Ÿ˜ˆ To expose Arthur in his deeds & to warn Mary of any threat of being conned out of her money.

Mary angrily yells "What? Oh, he cons people? He seems to think I can be conned!"๐Ÿ‘ฟ

The other guard that escorted Arthur named Bob says "I think he just wants to bargain." In laughter.

Mary smiles & then gets the feeling to be mischievous.

Mary happily says "Let's raid his home."๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Mary tells her guards to "Force him to tell you where he lives, in fact, give me his house & take all of his possessions."

Her guards do as told as Arthur yells "Wait, no!"๐Ÿ˜ก

Mary yells "Goodbye, you idiot!"๐Ÿ˜Š

One of her guards named "Rita says "If you insult her, she'll kill you, she isn't above murder."๐Ÿ˜Š

Mary told him "I will!"๐Ÿ˜Š

He was forced to lose everything he owned.

Mary had the ability to defy a Judge's order, so she took all of his money & everything he owns.

To be continued...
