Episode 13

Donald walks down the street of the community, cars are bustling but he needs to find a quiet, remote place to call his family back in the camp.

He is on the city streets. Donald finds a phone booth, but it has to be in a private place.

He ends up in a hotel & he tells the French owner Woman Named Hannah "I need a room."😞

The woman asks "The cheapest we have is the $12 room. It's the size of a walk-in closet… That's small. But not as small as a normal closet. It can hold a bed but a single bed & you can walk up to 13 steps in it because the bed is literally pressed up against the wall. The rent is $12 a week."🤩

Donald agreed to buy the room because he only wanted the room so that he could have a secluded space to call his family.

Once Donald gets the phone from the owner & goes to the room, walks all the way to the other side of the room, away from the door & calls Loria.

His voice whispers, so his mouth is close to the small hole at the bottom of the phone that allows him to talk to Loria.

Donald asks her "How is Bonnie doing?" In concern, hoping the camp hasn't been found out & invaded.

Loria answers saying "All Good in the camps, dear." Loria was happy about stating that.

Loria is making pancakes.

Loria gets floods of different memories with her mom & dad about the time she made pancakes with her mom in the kitchen with her.

Loria paused for 1 minute... & then took the pancake off of the pan & put it on a plate.

Loria went back to making some more pancakes.

Bonnie was playing with her toddlers.

Bonnie felt safe.

Loria felt safe.

The toddlers always felt safe due to being born in the camps.

Donald felt like he was in danger.

Dr. Markus felt uncomfortable & safe at the same time like someone would get hurt.

Donald asks "How's The Doctor doin'?" In concern for the old Doctor's health. The doctor is totally healthy, he's got grays on his hair though. Lots of grays.

Loria states "He's at work for the camp's people as usual." Loria hasn't seen the doctor off work in a while.

Donald is surprised.

Donald asks "So, he's not visiting?" In shock.

Loria states "He did once." In a calm tone of voice, sure that the doctor is alright.

Loria prays to God that "Please let Dr. Markus be okay, in Jesus' name, Amen." Out of worry for Dr. Markus' Health & safety.

Loria told Donald that "The camp kept him as a doctor & taught him how to do more work as one." In joy.

Donald laughs in glee stating "Yay, that's great."

A knock comes on the door, Donald says "Bye, lovely." Then hung up the phone to keep their location, identity, & the camp concealed along with its biggest secret: The hidden Russians.

Donald walks to the door & then listens at the door saying "Who is it?" With his ear pressed up against it.

The man at the door is named Valord.

Valord yells "I am the Russian Lawyer who had to scrap to get to the top with more strings pulled for him than any other. Not everyone can do it on their own. Not in this society. They'd rather kill me before I get to the top or they're just too afraid of being assassinated for letting me get to the top before I get to the top." In a mocking manner toward all those who would try to stop him.

As Valord spoke his last sentence, Donald opens the door for him.

Donald asks "Why did you leave the court that day?" In confusion & concern.

Valord replies "Did you not hear what happened? I had to." In Bold Pride.

Donald asks "How did you find out where I was? Why did you choose to visit me after I had defeated you in court? Are you really Valord?" Before Valord even turns around to see Donald after entering his home.

Valord pauses for 5 seconds & then turns around to stare at Donald for 4 seconds.

Valord says "I am me.

Can't you recognize my Russian face?

I visited you to thank you for winning, I let you win, after all.

I couldn't let them oppress my race like that & fight for them!

That's absurd.

I love my Russian People.

Also, I live in the Hotel & saw you come in." To refresh Donald's memory of him & to convince him he's not here to bring trouble.

Valord looks around & states "What a cramped room." In disgust at how they gave him this room.

Valord asks "Would they let you get a better one?" Enraged at the owners, feeling like they gave him this room just because he was a Russian.

Donald answers "I actually picked it out because it was cheap & I didn't want to stay long.

I just... Needed to call a friend.

That's all." In a calm, explanatory manner.

That night, he laid in the hotel bed after using the phone to call Lolli to tell her he'd be staying there for a while.

Donald's words were "Hey, Lolli, listen, I've decided to live here for a while since the assassin knew where I lived. I have faith... She may follow me to you."

Then he hung up.

That night, he had a dream about his imaginary friend as a child... Wildblossom...

Wildblossom was an ancient treant-like being of over a thousand years. She stood at a massive 25 meters tall and had a huge crown formed by countless branches leaves of emerald had turned to ruby at the hands of autumn. An owl made use of a hollow in the treant's trunk; it was a small hollow, but a perfect fit for the little bird. The treant-like being was happy to be able to provide shade and shelter to a wide range of creatures across the seasons. Her impressive trunk housed countless creatures big and small who returned year after year after year.

A wrinkled, knotty face smiled; moss clung to the bottom like a beard to a chin. Twisting arms of vines and branches could move incredibly fast if needed. An ancient strength ran through Wildblossom; conflicts had been squashed quickly and smoothly in the past. Thick, trunk-like legs grow broader by the day, Wildblossom carried the treant-like being at great lengths across the vast forest lands.

Most of the time the treant-like being slept and grew little by little, though dreamt of exploring while doing so.

Donald woke up in a huff, he was confused.

Donald asks himself "Was that... My old imaginary friend, Wildblossom?"🤗

Wildblossom was his friend for 3 years since he was 5-years-old.

Donald stood up, then thought "Dear gosh, I need to go outside for air. That was a... WILD dream. Nice to see her in my imagination again!"🤣

Donald went outside & watches the cars drive by in the community.

Donald looks around & wonders "Is the country as big as this?"

The town was in the country of "Alama."

The Town was Called "The Town of Mary."

The Community was called "Aloma."

The hotel was called Riverburn.

The community of Aloma was built in the shadow of a rugged volcano and is truly a contemporary marvel.

Its uniqueness is matched by the backdrop of a fuming volcano which has helped shape the city into what it is today.

The riches these volcanoes brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have been built with volcanic rocks and similar-looking materials.

The skyline is scattered with towering skyscrapers and a new one seems to pop up every other week.

Employment is tremendous in The Hotel of Riverburn and it has attracted a lot of attention.

Many new cultures have left their mark not just on the architecture, but also upon the country of Alama's identity.

What historically was a Country called Alama of predictability has grown into an amalgamation of differences and it's this that unites the 12 million people in this country to this day.

It's this multicultural identity that has truly left its mark.

Hundreds of bakeries, gastropubs, and clubs offer a plethora of culinary choices and those who feel hungry for something else can enjoy one of the many parks, sports activities, art galleries, or one of the many other recreational venues.

God had been keeping the volcano from erupting & the residents built a barrier to block the lava from hurting people around the volcano.

A man named The Specter walks into the hotel behind Donald, Donald sees that he is a black man from the camp.

Donald followed him to see where he was going.

The Specter was Black-Skinned, literally Jet Black Skinned, Like, Crayon Jet Black-skinned.

Like... His skin was literally BLACK.

Donald could tell him from a mile away.

Donald asks "Spec?"😨

The Specter looks at Donald saying "I'm busy. Go home."😒 He had work to do assigned by the camp.

The Specter met Shooting Starset at the hotel as he was supposed to. She was in a Two-Room Hotel room.

Specter asks "What is it? The camp sent me to get you." As Shooting Starset cried out loud.

Shooting Starset, a Russian woman who had been beaten Black & blue which was alarming The Spector right now.

Shooting Starset says "Take me home, I called them to take me home!" In shouts of anger & rage.

Specter rescued her from a man who wanted to kill her, he was heading to the hotel to take her out.

Shooting Starset knew.

Specter had no idea this guy was even coming.

Shooting Starset shouts as he gets her in the car the camp sent for her. Shooting Starset yells "Let me in!"😨 As The Specter pushed her inside the backseat of the car.

Shooting Starset yells "DRIVE!"😱 As The Spector gets in the backseat of the car & then the driver named Goat yells "Time to go, Let's go on the Goat!"😆 Goat was a light-skinned black man. His skin was a really nice, light caramel color.

The Specter asks as Goat drives off "Why did your parents name you Goat?"🤨

Goat says "I was born near a goat."😆 Then Goat got confused & asked "What's wrong with Little Starset?" In confusion & worry for her.

The Spector is confused.

The Driver named Goat was born in the barn on a farm.

Donald was so confused to see Shooting Starset crying like that, her tears would not stop.

Donald was scared. Donald went back inside the hotel & asked the owner "What is wrong with the girl that ran out crying?"😡 Angry that someone made a Russian cry like that, obviously.

The concerned owner says "Not sure."😰 As she worked on her laptop trying to organize those marked as who did & who didn't live in the hotel.

To be continued...
