WHAT IS WRONG?

I look at the couple in front of me. They're hugging each other so tightly underneath this beautiful sky, away from the loud noises inside the main hall, how cute.

"But how do they know my name?"

I ask Mark with a confused look while he just stares at the two strangers shockingly.

"Y/N go inside I'm coming."

Mark slightly bends and whispers in my ears with a serious tone and I understood right away that I shouldn't argue, guess they are acquaintances and since Mark often talks about me to his close friends, that's probably how they know me.

I nod at Mark and let go of his arm as I carefully made my way inside the venue so I won't trip.

I wait for Mark while sitting near the bar since that seems to be the place which is the easiest to find through the overwhelmingly flashy crowd.

Why is he taking so long, I thought he was just greeting them...

I get up impatiently when someone stops in front of me.

"Yes?"

I question, confused at the tall, slender figure that stood there, staring intensely as I wait for a reply.

"I'm Luca, do you remember me?" (check ch 15 for reference)

"I'm sorry, you have the wrong person."

I quickly walk past him when I hear his footsteps following mine.

"Excuse me? Do you have business with me?"

"So you really forgot? I thought you were dead so how come you're in front of me talking and moving like a normal person?"

"Listen, sir, I have no idea what you're saying!"

"Of course you don't, knowing Mark he probably made sure you have no memory of your past."

He smiles as he sneakily approaches me. My body froze at his last words that I didn't notice his cold breath on my ears.

"A piece of advice from your boyfriend's ex-friend, make sure you check his office, you will find all the answers to your questions there and also this is the third time we meet. You probably don't remember the first time though since you were so busy looking at Kai."

I could see his smiling face again as he gracefully walked away from my sight. I continued staring at his long gone silhouette, puzzled at his uncanny word.

What was that? I don't remember meeting him before! And who's Kai?

"Princess?"

I instinctively turn around at Mark's voice as he walks fast in my direction.

"W...what's wrong, Mark?"

"We're done in here let's go home!"

Before I could ask anything else Mark grabs my arm and pulls me outside of the hall. I try to call out to him but he doesn't respond.

"Mark that hurts!"

I shout attempting to stop him but he violently pushes me in the car and sits next to me.

"We're going home!"

He shouts at the driver, his voice sounded so cold and emotionless that I couldn't say anything else.

I look outside the window as I hold onto my bruised arm...why is he acting like this? He never reacted like this with me.

I take a quick glance at him and flinch at his menacing aura. He looked like he was ready to slaughter anyone.

I felt alarmed at his behaviour as I rested my head on the window. I close my eyes trying to calm myself and wishing that all this was just a bad dream, a nightmare.

It's all going to be fine when I walk up.

"Y/N!!Y/N!"

I briskly open my eyes and notice the two couple I saw earlier. What are they doing here?

"Y/N don't go with him! He's dangerous! Y/N don't you remember us! It's me Jay and this is the closest person you ever had, Lauren! Y/N! Y/N!"

I look terrified at the bloody stranger, his suit looked torn and there were stains of blood all over his trousers.

The girl next to him held onto him tightly so that he won't fall.

"Mark, you hurt him didn't you?"

I shout at Mark furiously knowing the answer to my question. I carry on glaring but he doesn't move an inch.

"Mark I'm asking you a question!"

"SHUT UP!"

He grabs my cheeks and pulls my face closer to his. I could see the anger in his eyes as I felt myself getting more and more intimidated.

"Say one more word and you won't be able to speak any more! Understood!"

I nod agitatedly at he yanks his hands away from me and looks away.

I felt a sudden rush of tears while holding my swollen face. The drive felt so long and silent that the sound of me crying filled the whole night like a lullaby.
